We had a toenail issue during one visit and she sent me photos so I took Wolfie to the vet to get evaluated and Misty later texted to see how he was doing post-visit. The injury was his fault…chasing a squirrel and lost footing in the gravel. I know some people may find it odd to use this app but it’s legit. About: I have always been surrounded by dog, whether it was my own or taking care of others. I believe that dogs deserve as much love as they give us. I am a homebody, but that means that I'll be more available to hang out with your dog for walks or trips to the park. I live in a townhouse apartment, which means that I have experience with walking dogs around non-fenced areas. This also means I will be observant if you do have a fenced area.

About: I am a college graduate and I work full time as a server. I’m available on weekdays and most weekends. I have a male black lab at home. I used to have a senior black lab mix but we had to put her down due to cancer. I have experience at the animal shelter and with my own dogs at home. I have lived with dogs all my life and I have lots of experience to take care of them. Dogs are my favorite animal and the one we have is pretty big. He is 90 pounds. He loves to swim and fetch the ball. I love cats and dogs! I want to make your pets as happy as possible. I would be a great pet sitter! Working location: Hillsborough, Durham, Chapel Hill, Raleigh area In my clients home I will care for your pets by putting on their leash, making sure they have food and water, and looking at the notes from the client. About: I have raised many different types of dogs for 15+ years. For the last 5 years, I have housed many different animals in need. I have trained puppies, as well as nervous, and abused dogs. Your pup or kitty will receive around the clock care and attention from me. I strive to give them just as much of a vacation as you are experiencing when you drop them off with me! I do not have any children in my home so your pup or kitty will be free to roam! I provide dog and cat beds, food and water bowls and lots of toys and treats (only if you approve as I will be mindful of your pet’s dietary needs and any allergies). If I am checking in or house sitting for you, your home will be treated with the utmost respect. I do daily cleaning, will gather any mail and packages and will leave your home spotless! We do have a boy cat that is 9 years old that we rescued when he was 6 months old. He LOVES all other cats and dogs but he knows when to keep to himself. For dogs and cats that may not get along we have and do use a metal gate that will separate them completely so no worries if your pup or kitty may have an issue with a cat!

About: I first started housesitting and pet sitting with the Rover app in 2020. I am comfortable and confident working with all sizes of dogs due to the wide variety of pets I cared for in Florida as well as Nebraska! A few of the services I provided were, dog walking, light dog grooming, basic gardening and housekeeping tasks. In one special case I cared for a miniature schnauzer with diabetes, I made sure his blood sugar was regular and gave him his insulin shot when needed.
