About: I grew up with animals and was the kind of kid to bring in injured bunnies, snakes, and chipmunks. I love all creatures but have a particular soft spot for dogs. I adopted my soulmate dog when I was in college and I was blessed to have 12 amazing years with her. I trained her myself (border collie-Aussie mix). Our current dog (mixed breed) was also adopted as a puppy (4 months) and was trained by me (crate trained, commands, etc). I was a dog walker in high school for a diabetic yellow lab and when I lived in Raleigh I volunteered on the “farm” at Saving Grace animal rescue. We have 3 kids who are all very respectful of animals. Our dog goes into her crate when we are out of the house and at night (this is mostly because that’s where she is most comfortable) and while she is very good with other animals, I am perfectly fine keeping your dog separate from ours if that makes you more comfortable. Our neighborhood is wooded and is a lovely area for walking your dog. We have a spacious back yard. It isn’t fenced in but I am happy to take your dog out to play on a leash as often as you’d like. I am currently a stay home mom so I have a lot of flexibility. I can walk, feed, play with, etc. your fur baby as often as you need. I will care for your fur babies as if they were my own. I know they are an important part of your family and they will be treated as such.
11. Laura G.

13. Nick M.
“Nick is an extremely responsible, and dependable person e specially when it comes to pet care . He is accountable for pet care activities (meal preparations, medications, bathing , and walking dog) and provides basic services around the home for myself . Him and I both share a passion for animals , and I know that my puppy ( Jonah) is in great hands when I leave for holiday :)”
14. Randy J.
“Randy is basically my Bichon puppy’s uncle lol. He’s always so happy to see him and so is my little boy, it’s been a pleasure having him watch him.”
15. Amanda C.
“Amanda is fantastic! It was hard leaving my 10-week old puppy with anyone really but it went perfectly! She was extremely flexible with a few last minute schedule changes on my end which was a huge help! I received some adorable pictures throughout each day and Amanda was in regular contact with me. I am so very happy that I found someone that I can trust. Thank you Amanda!”

17. Kimmie W.
“Kimmie has been raising dogs for over 40 years, belongs to the Durham Kennel Club and is an AKC breeder of Merit. She had helped others with training, competed in dog events and done 5 years of Search and Rescue with one of her own. I have personally been to her house for an extended stay and I can truly say she is one of the most caring and responsible people I know. Her dogs and pups are very well taken care of, I have no doubt that she would do the same for others.”
