About: I’ve been an animal keeper for the last 3-4 years working with various exotic wildlife and am currently the Vet Tech/Keeper for (mostly) lemurs. I have great experience and knowledge working with animals (including domestic pets). I volunteered at my local animal shelter working with dogs and cats for many years, doing routine tasks such as feeding, cleaning, bathing, and walking. Apart from basic necessities like feeding and cleaning, I also have great experience preparing and administering medications and am confident in my abilities to handle exceptional dogs and cats that may need more complex care. Outside of my work experience, I have my own personal experience caring for my family pets, including dogs, cats, many rodents, and now chickens. Since high school I have frequently pet sat for friends and acquaintances with a wide range of pets including dogs, cats, lizards, fish, and horses. I am available in the mornings most weekdays, with lesser availability on the weekends. My availability can be flexible upon notice. On weekends right now, I am available only in the late afternoon and evenings. Am only looking to care for pets at the client’s house due to my own housing and pet situation. I’ve cared for pets in this context before and first and foremost, I respect people’s property and homes and can be trusted to be professional and clean. I am flexible to work accordingly with the client’s preferences in regard to how they their pets need to be cared for.

About: I've been caring for pets since I was young (including dogs, cats, horses, hamsters and guinea pigs) and I currently have 3 cats. 2 of my cats are declawed and get along with the dogs, 1 cat has claws. I'm use to caring for the unique needs of senior pets, including extra bathroom breaks and administering meds. I have three kids, 2 in college and a 17yo, that love pets as well and assist when they can. I live on 12 acres well away from the road but the yard is not fenced. I opened a business in town 9/2021 so I'm no longer home during the day but my husband works from home and when the kids are home from college they assist. I would love the opportunity to get to know your pet(s)! My husband works from home so he can care for them and keep them company during the day. I own a business in town and am usually home by 4pm. I have three kids that love dogs and assist when schedules permit. My cats also get along well with dogs. Dogs are not allowed on furniture but we do play with them if they are the playing kind or let them sleep if that is their preference.

About: Ever since I was a child, I have been mildly obsessed with animals (insert mental image of a little kid with horses all over her bright pink shirt and a stuffed Bernes Mountain dog glued to her side). At the time, my parents were strongly against having pets. I was deeply offended by this decision, and did not understand their hands were already full with five "animals:" my four siblings and me. Eight year old Kat knew she needed to get creative and outsource her time with animals. That's when I began working on a horse farm. I spent most days cleaning stalls, feeding horses and playing with the barn cats. This was my happy place, my home away from home. It was at this time I also began dog sitting for various families throughout our neighborhood. Although I think I was more of an annoyance to the first dog I looked after (sorry Ginger), I learned to be responsible and dependable. When I moved away to college, I looked for a new way to spend time with animals and began volunteering at a local shelter. Through the shelter, I began fostering cats and dogs, gained experience feeding newborn kittens, leash training large dogs and giving medications to senior pets. I loved learning each individual's personality and finding new ways to build playful and loving relationships based on trust. I later worked as a receptionist for a fear-free veterinary clinic and was exposed to pets of all dispositions and backgrounds. I am comfortable caring for pets with various illnesses, allergies, parasites and high anxiety. TLDR: I am a long time animal lover, with over 15 years of experience working/volunteering on farms and petsitting. I am confident around animals of any age, whether hoofed, clawed, scaled or winged! I am not easily grossed out by a snotty nose, or the occasional poopy bottom and will meet your pets energy wherever they need to be met. Whether you are looking for someone to walk your jumpy puppy or be a calm companion for your shy old cat, I am a great fit! PS: Now I know you are wondering, “ But Kat, did you ever get your own dogs?” and the answer is YES! I grew up with two Westie puppies and, several years later, welcomed Kody, our rescue german shepherd/husky mix to the family. (Pictures included) I am currently between full-time jobs after recently completing a service term with AmeriCorps this fall/winter. This allows me to maintain a flexible schedule and accommodate a wide range of pet needs. I am available to provide house sitting for an additional fee or make multiple visits per day as needed. I enjoy driving which allows for consistent, attentive care tailored to each pet. Every pet parent has a different routine when it comes to caring for their pet. It is my job as the sitter to adhere as closely to this routine as possible. It can be scary having new people in your home (especially when your parents are away), and maintaining a known schedule is extremely beneficial for reducing your pet's anxiety . I also believe in clear, consistent communication with my clients, so you can feel confident your pets are in good hands and enjoy peace of mind while you’re away.

About: Hi there! My name is Hayley, I am 20 years old, and have an extreme love and passion for ALL animals! Since, I was a baby and got my first cat at 6 weeks old, I have grown up in a household full of animals with everything from cats, dogs, chickens, rabbits, you name it, and those animals have taught me so much, enough that I want to give back to the local community and their animals! My specialties are with cats and dogs of any age, though if you have another animal in need of service, I am open to anything! Currently, I have two dogs of my own that I have trained since they were 8 weeks old. I also have knowledge in feeding and medication management, daily exercise and enrichment activities, routine care (bathing animals) and hygiene maintenance, and I always strive to have strong, reliable communication with owners of your furry friends! Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Fridays: I am available anytime after 3 pm Thursdays: available from 12-5pm and from 8-10pm Weekends: Open availability (I am a college student so my schedule can vary but I always provide clients with clarifications a week prior to my visit) As I previously mentioned, I have two dogs (both Jack Russells) of my own that are 2 and 8 years old. I strive to maintain a clean space and comfortable for my pets where they can relax and follow their usual routines with no worries. I maintain consistent feeding schedules, provide daily exercise and playtime, and ensure their safety by always supervising. They have designated rest areas (although I do allow animals on furniture), plenty of enrichment activities/toys, and lots of affection of course! I am always supervising them, making sure they are healthy, eating/drinking, and exercising correctly. In a clients home is a bit different as this is not my personal space. I tend to follow the routine/schedule exactly as written and complete the usual duties such as feeding, walking, playtime, waste/litter cleanup, etc. I keep the home clean, ensure safety over the property and animals, and provide regular updates and photos to owners. I always double check and make sure all pets are comfortable, safe, and have everything they need in their space before I leave.

About: I have been a fur mom since I was about 12 years old and have experience with all kinds of pets, including reptiles, chickens, hamsters, Guinea pigs, birds, & chinchillas. I also use to work at a pet store doing pet care which involved lots of handling, cleaning and keeping a healthy environment for the animals. I am currently self employed and I make my own schedule so I am flexible with my availability. Mondays and Thursday are more flexible but I have time on the other days of the week as well. I’m clients homes I would give your pets the attention and lovin’ that they need and make sure that they are always safe. I will keep clean after them and make sure that they are cared for as if they were my own.

About: Lots of love and interaction with your dog. Consider it dog camp! Only one dog family is boarded at a time. Your dog will get supervised outdoor time in my fenced in shady yard, walks, and plenty of love. No aggressive dogs. Must get along with cats. Crates training is preferred as a safety measure. There are times when a pet must be locked away in a room or crate. My beloved border collie died in 2021 at 18 years old and I'm not ready for a new dog but I'm available to work with yours! I work remotely and am around the house much of the day. Let’s set up a meet and greet. I work remotely, so potential for caring for your pet(s) in the afternoon, evenings and weekends. If your dog gets along with cats, short stays in my home are ok. Fenced in yard and walkable neighborhood. Fenced in yard for time in the sun and ball/frisbee tossing. Hikes on safe nature trails available, at an extra cost for well behaved pups.

About: I have experience in all ranges of dog sizes from a chihuahua to a mastiff. I am a major animal lover and will do anything I can for your animals. I am almost always available and have been dog sitting since I was 8 years old. I have taken animal assistance classes through high school and have continued on with taking college courses to become a vet assistant. I also was in FFA ( future farmers of America) which helped me learn more about how to properly care for animals and the proper way to admister any medications your furry friends may need. About: What sets me apart as a sitter is the heart I bring into caring for every pet as if they were my own. I truly enjoy getting to know each animal’s unique personality—whether it’s a playful puppy learning the ropes or a wise senior who just wants a little extra love and comfort. I have hands-on experience with both, including basic puppy training and senior care like administering medication and helping them move around gently and safely. I'm calm, patient, and genuinely invested in making pets feel safe, happy, and understood while their people are away. Building that trust with both the pet and their owner is something I value deeply. I currently work from home, so I'm flexible in home or drop by care. I am able to walk, play and tend to needs as needed. I will ask pet parents the routine the pet is used to in their home. I will try to maintain the schedule to the best of ability while I am in their home. Cuddles, loves and reassurance will always be in that routine. In my home, they will join into the family of constant fun. Joining 2 neutered male Aussies who love to have company ane planty of excercise. We have chickens and acres to run. We often walk around visit our neighbors goats and horses, collect eggs. We will be sure to have an inside bed/crate for them to sleep in at night. They will be fed separately and will have fresh water available all day. Nap times through out the day is permitted as they lay anywhere they want while I work. They are permitted to hang out, looking out the windows; watching birds, deer, cars passing by and sometimes up close and unleash fury barking at the Amazon delivery person. We often indulge in treats if permitted and there is tons of snuggle breaks.

About: My whole life I've owned or taken care of animals. When I was in high school I balanced being a volunteer firefighter and working at a boarding kennel/groomer. While working the kennel I tended to dog of all ages,sizes,and breeds. I tended to 30 or more dogs day to day. I made sure all dogs had play time, potty time, Clean environment, water, and food. I have a clear schedule where I can tend to all need of your fur baby(s). I will be able to tend to your baby(s) at any time I would care for your baby(s) as if they were my own. There would be no shortage of cuddles, kisses and love's. When sitting at your home be assured that I will only do what you say you feel comfortable with. I will respect your home as if it was my own.
