“I had an excellent experience with ma’am janice . She was professional, reliable, and attentive throughout the entire stay. She provided regular updates and took great care of my dog, making me feel completely comfortable while I was away. It was clear my dog was well cared for and happy in her care. I highly recommend her services and would gladly book with her again.” Thank you so much ma’am”

“Jacklyn was very good with our goldendoodle. She updated us with photos while he was there. I can see why she gets excellent ratings. It was a great experience for using Rover for the first time.”

“We've booked with Stephanie a few times and has always been very satisfied with her. Her whole family loves dogs. Her home has a good size yard for zoomies. She will always be our first choice in MB. Thanks Stephanie!”

“Nikki and her husband were amazing with our dog, Oliver!! He’s typically nervous, but they were so patient and kind towards him. He had a great time! If you’re nervous about booking a dog sitter, you can’t go wrong with this duo!!!!”

“We have booked with Oceana three times and Teddy always has a wonderful time! She always sends pictures of our little guy having fun! We will use her for future visits as well!”

“Carly was great with our pups! Our small one has an issue with barking and excitement sometimes but she handled it well. If we are ever in the area again I will 100% book with Carly again.”
“I cannot say good enough things about Karla. It is a pet owner dream pet sitter. Will take care of your baby just like it was hers. Our girl has high anxiety and separation anxiety and Karla was able to calm her down and get her to relax until she was super comfortable with being away from us. Through all this time she constantly sent me updates, videos and images and that really made my time away more relaxed. Thank you so so much for your help on such a short notice!”

“Alyssa greeted our dogs with caring and enthusiasm. The pet care techniques she shared with us are the same as ours so we knew she was theright person for our fur babies. Her home is very clean and pet friendly. We will continue to use her pet sitting services.”

About: I treat my dogs like my children. My dogs are living with my ex husband and I want to share my love for dogs with yours. My biggest fear was a dog sitter would not recognize if my dog got sick while I was away. My vet does not believe in kennels and we have followed his advice. It makes me much happier knowing they are not in a concrete cage all day. I had been looking into opening a dog day care but this is more rewarding. I will treat your pet like my own. I am pretty much available 24/7 in my home. Your pet will have the run of my house. Your pet will be part of my one person family. It will be just me and your pet. No other dogs will be in the house. I only take in one dog at a time and have great references. I do Rover at my home in New Hampshire over the winter and CT over the summer and you can see my great reviews. Your pet will have the run of my house, and will cuddle on the couch with me and/or sleep on my bed. I will walk your pet personally.
“We highly recommend Luciana! She and her husband welcomed us with open arms when we arrived, they were so friendly and rowdy immediately felt comfortable. Their backyard is the perfect space for dogs to roam and explore. They even accommodated us with watching him a little bit longer than we expected. We will definitely use them again in the future.😍”

“Joe and Celeste were great with my little guy. Their two adorable pugs were the icing on the cake! My pup had a great time playing with them. And the best part? a front bay window bench seat with a little doggie ramp where they sit and watch squirrels and a spacious fenced-in back yard where they run free. Definitely worth it!”
About: My whole life, I've grown up with cats and dogs (tabby's and pit-bulls to be exact). I have trained 3 puppies (basic commands like sit and stay) and have taken care of one senior dog (18) and a senior cat (17). I do prefer a week in advance heads up, but will help as best as I can! Open to early mornings and late nights. Just communicate your needs and I will do my best to accommodate you. Pets are always cared for in a safe, clean, and supervised environment, whether in my home or yours. I remove hazards, maintain routines, and prioritize comfort, security, and trust. In clients’ homes, I respect all instructions, keep spaces clean, and ensure pets feel comfortable and well cared for at all times.

Whether your pet enjoys playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply a quiet place to rest, I strive to provide a stress-free experience filled with love and care. My goal is for both you and your pet to have peace of mind, knowing they are in a safe and caring environment.
“Andie was AMAZING! Great meet-and-greet and then daycare today. Great communication and excellent care for Donald. Obvious that Andie LOVES dogs and is committed to caring for them in the best way possible! Will definitely book with Andie again-Donald came home happy and tired from a great day of play! We are here on vacation and I am so relieved to find someone to take care of Donald when we need it!”

Nick and Heather are absolutely wonderful people. I felt very comfortable leaving my Mateus with them. They welcomed him into their home, he was so excited to see them each time he visited. We will look forward to booking with them again whenever we visit Myrtle Beach.

Agnes greeted us very warmly upon arrival and invited us in to see her doggy room. Her home is spotless and you can tell she loves her little dogs and her guests. Poppy our 10 lb Shih Tzu went to her with tail wagging. She has a beautiful ,very secure for even the smallest pups, fenced yard for the pups to run & play. Our girl spent the night with her as well. Agnes sent photos and a video and we felt very confident that Poppy was well looked after.

Oliver was amazing with Millie, a senior dog who can be crotchety and stubborn. He was very patient and kind. Easy to work with, flexible and great communication. Always prompt and responsive. His dog Cooper is very big but did fine with tiny Millie and let her be the boss. Highly recommend.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Rosewood commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
