About: As a pet owner for 20+ years, I have been blessed to care for dogs through every stage of life—from puppies to seniors, including a blind dog and one with mobility challenges. While I am new to Rover, I am not new to the genuine attention, patience, and love that fur babies deserve. My experience also includes completing individual and group K-9 training courses with my own dogs. Agility is in the mix as well, so the back yard is often home to hoops, jumps, tunnels, and weave poles...oh my! Currently, I work full-time, Monday - Thursdays, and half-days on Fridays. Evenings and weekends are dedicated to adventures, cuddles, and the like with my English Spring Spaniel, Granger. Please feel encouraged to message me about dates, times, and the like. “Maddie and Granger were awesome! Chessie had such a good time and was exhausted when she got home—a good sign, for her! She even ate for Maddie, which is astonishing—she is sooo finicky! We got pictures and video and could definitely tell she was having fun. When she got home she curled up on the sofa and crashed. We can’t wait for her to go back!”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that I genuinely enjoy building a connection with every pet I care for. I have a very flexible schedule, so I’m able to give pets plenty of attention, companionship, walks, playtime, and comfort throughout the day instead of only stopping by briefly. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and relaxed when their owners are away, so I take the time to learn their routines, personalities, and needs. I currently have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to pet care throughout the day and week. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, feeding schedules, playtime, and overnight care, and I enjoy creating a calm, comfortable environment where pets feel safe and loved I provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where pets can feel relaxed and cared for. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, playtime, medication if needed, and lots of attention and affection. In a client’s home, I respect their space and make sure pets feel secure in their familiar environment while keeping owners updated with photos and messages. I’m attentive to each pet’s personality and needs, whether they’re energetic and playful or prefer a calm and quiet atmosphere.

“Jorie is wonderful! We have used her services multiple times and couldn’t be happier! You can really tell she loves dogs. She is excellent at providing text and picture updates to give you peace of mind while you are away on a trip. Finley had a great time visiting and playing with her pup Bailey. This last time he was so excited to visit he was pulling on the leash to get inside Jorie’s house. I think that shows you that Finley loves it there. (I can tell you that he sure doesn’t do that when we go to the groomer… lol). I Definitely recommend Jorie to care for your furry family member.”

“Debby, or “Aunt Debby” as Knox calls her 😊 provided the best care that I could ask for. I was able to relax on my vacation with peace of mind that my best friend was at home with her. Debby sent informative updates and photos so being away from him was easier. I think he’ll sleep like a baby for a week since she exercised him routinely. He’s a black Lab and it’s hot here in Myrtle Beach, but I didn’t worry since Debby’s level of emergency medical knowledge is far beyond that of any kennel. I will definitely book Camp Debby next time I need to travel without him. Thank you!!!!”
“Josh and Ashley were fantastic!! They sent me pictures and updated me for the hours my husky was with them. They did exactly what they said, took her in a nice walk and a little beach time too. Their home is lovely, open spaced with their pup, friendly with mine. I reached out to them to request and within minutes they responded to accept care. I would recommend this great couple! I would also reach out to them in the future. They aren't far from the busy part of myrtle and I like their quiet neighborhood. A few blocks away was a nice dog park too.”
“We are always anxious about leaving our dogs when we go away. But we had nothing to worry about. Mary did a great job with them. Each day the photos showed the dogs more comfortable looking though they were too small for the fence restraint, she took them for walks often. I will definitely leave them with Mary again. Her kindness shined through.”
