“Sandi was great. Our dog Millie had a great stay and we got lots off god updates throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend anyone needing help with dog sitting while in the Myrtle beach area!”
“Maddie is a delight with which to do business. She communicates very well and bends over backwards to work with changes in circumstances and schedules. If the need comes up it would be my pleasure to use her as a sitter again.”
“Jody was wonderful. I traveled to Myrtle Beach from Georgia. At the last minute, I had an issue with my sitter in Georgia. I scrambled to see if I could find someone in Myrtle Beach, and Jody responded immediately. I was so grateful. She quickly answered my questions and addressed my needs. This left me feeling confident that my fur baby would be safe with her. So, we drove 6 hours to Myrtle Beach, met Jody and her fur babies, covered all the essential details, and felt confident Harlee was in good hands with Jody and her fur family.”
“Mary was a wonderful pet sitter for our new cat while we went away for a few days. As soon a I dropped our cat off I could tell that Mary was an animal lover and she would be in great hands while we were away. Not only did Mary give our baby meds while she was recovering from being spayed, but she kept us updated with sweet pics of our girl that relieved our anxiety while we were traveling. We cannot thank Mary enough for the amazing care she provided to our girl Shadow and highly recommend her to anyone looking for amazing pet care!”

“Oceana is without a doubt the best dog sitter we've had. She is super accommodating and extremely friendly. Also our dog loves her! Will be rebooking again in the future!”
“I was very pleased having my animals stay with Madison. My dog was having some gastrointestinal problems before my trip but Madison said she would still keep him. I was worried my kittens would hide and this might affect them but they are active as ever Again I would recommend Madison for boarding.”
“Caitlin was amazing. She took care of my boy for me while I was away on vacation, sent updates and photos and gave him all the love and attention he could possibly need. I would definitely recommend her and her family!”
“Mari is so amazing. I have two pups and they have separation anxiety. From the moment we got there - they went into the yard and just made themselves right at home. They didn’t even notice I was leaving. She has a wonderful home with a tall fenced in yard ( for any pet parent with an escape artist like myself). her dog, Scooby was so kind and gentle to my babies. I have to say her family is so amazing. Her son loved my dogs like they were his! I felt so comfortable on my work trip knowing they were in such great hands. 100% recommend Mari to anyone who needs a sitter. She truly loves animals and wants to make sure they are comfortable. She sends tons of photos and videos, which is really thoughtful and appreciated. She’s so great!!! So happy to find her!”
“Another great stay with Jacklyn and Stryker . My dog was so excited when we turned on her street . She ran up to her front door and started whining and wagging her tail . She couldn’t wait to go inside . That’s a great feeling !”
“OMG!! You won’t find a better person to trust your fur-baby with in the Myrtle Beach area. Karla & her husband Malcolm were both great. Our girl was so very cared for & loved in their care. Thank you so much for going above & beyond for our girl. We appreciate you very much!”

“The absolute best! From the moment we met her, I felt completely comfortable leaving Billie in her care. She is incredibly personable, caring, and attentive. Billie came home happy, exhausted from all the fun, and clearly showered with love and attention. She also had a great time playing with her adorable pup! We couldn’t be happier with the experience and can’t wait to book again. Highly recommend!”
“Janice is THE BEST!!!! After an emergency with a last minute cancellation from an aggressive Myrtle Beach sitter (Jody) Janice picked us up within minutes and saved our family vacation. She kept our Shih Tzu boys safe and loved! Thank you Janice! You are a pleasure to anyone who gets to work with you.”

“Laura did such an amazing job with Cooper and Max. They were well cared for. They seemed really happy and our fuzzy seem to get along with their fuzzies and really comfortable property and yard. And they managed medications for our dogs and they were so happy when we came to pick him up. It almost seemed like they didn't want to leave. We couldn't ask for better!”
“Amy was a wonderful dog sitter! I was so sad dropping the dogs off because we don’t normally leave them, but she kept us regularly updated and they seemed to have had a great time!”

“My first booking with Rover was awesome! So Easy to book and find a sitter even on short notice. It was my first night away from her and the peace of mind I had knowing he was there taking care of her and keeping her company was really priceless.”

“I was so pleased with Jessica and Kayla and the care they gave my 3 cats. I was away for 1 week and one day they stayed late because it was storming. 2 of my cats were pretty elusive but finally started coming out. They left the house in great shape. I would recommend them to anyone needing drop in services. I will definitely use them again”
“Shana was FANTASTIC! She took care of my two cats, one being special needs and exceeded all expectations. She came out to my house twice a day for 12 days and left our house looking like the day we left it. This was my first time having someone from Rover come to my house when I have been gone and I felt she was incredibly trustworthy. I would recommend her to anyone and will be using her for all my pet sitting. Please look NO FURTHER when picking a caretaker for your pets. She is the BEST!!!!”
About: Back in 2021 I rescued my cat that I have today and I absolutely love him with all my heart and even since having him I’ve looked out for my friends cats and even adopted another one with my fiance who now is with us all the time. Cats are so different and so loving.

About: I currently have three rescue cats of my own and have years of hands-on experience caring for cats with different personalities and needs. I’m attentive, patient, and happy to provide updates and photos during visits.
“Samantha was very reliable and spent quality time with Macie (our cat) during her drop-in visits. She kept us informed and posted pictures whenever she did her drop-in visit. We highly recommend Samantha and trust she would take very good care of your fur babies.”
About: I have had dogs of my own since I was a child. I have been involved in fostering for local rescues & shelters for 5 years I have co-ran my own 501c3 rescue for almost 3 years I do work full time, so I am gone Monday- Friday from roughly 7A.M until 6 P.M. (depending on how far you are from my job). I drive Uber on the weekends during the summer months, but those hours are flexible & can vary based on your pet's needs. I have a fenced yard, but I have 3 senior dogs of my own and because of running the rescue, I usually have a foster dog as well so taking a dog into my home would be more challenging, but if I were to drop in or stay at your home, your dog(s) would get all of the one on one attention &time that they require

“Stefanie was an absolute lifesaver for me. I needed to find someone last minute for doggy daycare for both my 6 month old puppy and 6.5 year old dog. Not only did I reach out to her last minute on a Saturday night, but she responded only a couple minutes later and was super accommodating. She took my dogs in like they were her own when I arrived. She sent me photos and shared their experience throughout the day which made me so happy to know they were having such a good time with her and the other dogs at her home. My dogs slept for 12 hours after 1 day of play at Stefanie’s. I highly recommend her. My dogs will be returning here regularly!☺️”
“Jacklyn was very good with our goldendoodle. She updated us with photos while he was there. I can see why she gets excellent ratings. It was a great experience for using Rover for the first time.”

About: Hi, I started pet sitting when I was earning my BS in Animal Science from LSU. Over the years I’ve worked as a vet tech and at medical/ veterinary schools/ teaching hospitals. I’ve been a basic skills/ obedience trainer and watched clients’ pets at their homes or brought them into mine for 35 yrs. I live in a quiet neighborhood 6 miles from Myrtle Beach airport with my 1 year old Lab and his 8 year old All American cat. We love other animals and are very understanding of friends’ individual personalities. We’d love to add your family to ours. I only host one client family's request at a time. Your furry kids will only play with my dog and cat. Caution: let us know if your pets are on a diet because we love treats to bond and offer positive reinforcement. Hope to hear from you soon. I work from home and spend most of the day with my laptop outside on the patio. There’s also a dog door so the pups can come in and out it will if they need the yard or AC. Even when I’m in the office, the door is open. Generally, your pups will only be crated between 10 PM - 6 AM and 6 PM to 8 PM while I’m at the gym. Other than that, my eyes are on them all the time so they can run loose. I do make exceptions for older and/or well-behaved guests. I believe that each animal is an individual so I avoid broad assumptions. Please feel free to ask any questions. I believe in setting pups up for success. This means eliminating situations where they could get into trouble -such as a young dog being loose at night and having an accident, chewing prohibited item, etc. Unfortunately, I’ve seen accidents happen. So I know they can. I treat everyone else’s loved pet as I would a child. It’s a big responsibility that I take very seriously.
“This was my first time using Rover, and I was greatly pleased with it. I was coming in from out of state so didn't get to meet Darrah before, but she was great with responding to all my questions and was very communicative throughout. I left Casper with her multiple times over my trip and he seemed like he had a great time. I also got tons of great pictures of each stay to show what he was up to throughout his time there, and would definitely leave Casper with Darrah again in the future.”
About: I’ve been around animals my whole life. I grew up on a farm and have had dogs for as long as I can remember, which taught me how to care for animals with patience and responsibility. Now I’m blessed with two cats of my own. I’m also an aspiring dog trainer and love working with animals while helping them learn and build good habits. Neighbors have trusted me to feed, walk, train and bathe their dogs, and I always treat every pet like they’re my own. 🐾 I’m available most of the day and have a flexible schedule, except on Tuesdays and Thursdays because I’m a full-time student. I’m also an aspiring dog trainer, so spending time with animals is something I truly enjoy and prioritize. 🐾 Your pet’s safety, comfort, and trust are very important to me. I have two small cat crates available if needed and separate rooms to keep animals safely apart. I’m also happy to gently carry senior dogs up stairs to make things easier and safer for them. 🐾
“Caitlin did a fantastic job today with our dog Ginger. This was our first time using Rover and we definitely will be using Caitlin in the future. She welcomed our dog into her family just like one of her own. Thank you Caitlin!”
About: I’ve taken care of dogs every kind since I was 10 and I’ve been around them my whole life. I love spending time with animals whether it’s a long walk, a hike, or some snuggles on the couch. I’m currently in college so between me and my partner we are home almost all week. Also available on weekends. Animals will have frequent potty breaks, love, and visitors! I have grass area for potty breaks and long walks we can go on. I’m available to crate any animal at night or have them in bed.
About: Being a mother of 2 and having grown up with animals my whole life, I know how important it is to leave your “babies” in the hands of someone you can trust. I’ve grown up with pets and have 20+ years experience caring for them. I have had dogs mostly but have cared for cats, birds and gerbils. I would describe myself as nurturing, responsible, active, and fun! I work from home so I am free and available to care for your pet and am able to provide frequent potty breaks and care. I live in an apartment and I am not strict about animals on the couch or bed. I live in a great neighborhood, next to parks, open fields and the beach, perfect for dog walking and outside activities!
About: I have fostered dogs and cared for them for the past 20 years. I love animals and want to make sure they feel loved and at home while they stay with me. I work remotely so i am home all day. My job is flexible and your pup would have time to exercise, go on walks or whatever it is they like to do during the day. I have a large fenced yard and a friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. I can crate them if they need to be. I am happy to follow what you would like.

About: As a pet owner for 20+ years, I have been blessed to care for dogs through every stage of life—from puppies to seniors, including a blind dog and one with mobility challenges. While I am new to Rover, I am not new to the genuine attention, patience, and love that fur babies deserve. My experience also includes completing individual and group K-9 training courses with my own dogs. Agility is in the mix as well, so the back yard is often home to hoops, jumps, tunnels, and weave poles...oh my! Currently, I work full-time, Monday - Thursdays, and half-days on Fridays. Evenings and weekends are dedicated to adventures, cuddles, and the like with my English Spring Spaniel, Granger. Please feel encouraged to message me about dates, times, and the like. If able, I will happily make accommodations. I have a spacious fenced in yard for "fun and run". Crates are preferred for overnight stays. Furbo and Ring are on premises for extra safety and security.
About: Back in 2022 I had one girl ask if I can watch her dog and I told her of course I love dogs and then after that I had so many more people asked me after I told them that I watch dogs and cats and ever since then I absolutely loved what I did. Seeing different types of pets with different personalities made me love it more. So I work throughout the week and I wanted to start only on the weekends first just to get myself through the door but maybe in the future I can make this a full time job Mostly a lot of the animals I took care of I got to be apart of there homes all of them so I got to stay over take care of them play with them take them on long walks feed them and just show them lots and lots of love and attention cause that’s what they need. Every animal is different so whatever the client tells me I will follow instructions through and I love to send lots of pictures of there animals to clients to let them know they are safe and in good hands
“Nicole was everything I had hoped for in a dog sitter. Kind, attentive, prompt, and communicative! Sophie and Winston loved spending time with her and her daughter! I needed a last-minute sitter and she came through, exceeding all my expectations. I always worry about leaving our dogs while traveling, but her updates kept my mind at ease. Will definitely be booking her again!”
“Kayla & Jessica were warm & friendly when we first met. My dog Yuki walked up to them to say hello immediately--which is not always her way. They were always punctual, communicated with me during my travel (as requested), and provided my pup with exceptional care. I'm so glad to have had the opportunity to meet them, will definitely use again, and highly recommend!”
“Shana is great. Rebel is a rescue and very skittish around many people. Shana was very patient, got on the floor and played with him and she was able to make him feel at ease with her very quickly. Shana was always punctual and very easy to work with. If I ever need a dog walker again, I wouldn't hesitate for a minute to get her back. I would highly recommend her to anyone.”
“Lisa was wonderful with my dog, Lainey! She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared a lot about making sure Lainey was comfortable and well taken care of. It gave me such peace of mind knowing Lainey was in great hands while I was away. I really appreciated the updates and the time she spent with her. I am absolutely booking with Lisa again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker!”
“Kelly was awesome walking our 2 chocolate labs for a walk each of the 4 days my husband and I were out of town. She is very caring and sent us an update each day letting us know how that did and along with pictures. Hines and Bailey love her🥰🥰🐾🐾”
About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life, growing up with cats, dogs, and just about every other pet you can imagine! I had the joy of raising a black lab for 12 amazing years, and now am lucky to share life with my happy, energetic red lab, Gus. I adore all animals and understand that every pet is unique. What sets me apart is my experience with both puppies and senior dogs, my dedication to making pets feel loved and safe, and my willingness to go the extra mile, whether it’s beach walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply giving them attention and care while you’re away. I treat every pet as part of my family, so you can relax knowing they’re in caring, trustworthy hands. About: I’m a proud momma of two Pit Bulls that I rescued, locally. My passion for Bully breeds started 25 years ago when I adopted my first one and discovered the slobbering kisses that made me a forever fan. Over the last decade I fostered many (over 50) pregnant moms and their babies for local Rescues. I’m available anytime of the day and 7 days a week unless booked or unavailable. I also do not mind last minute drop ins. After my own experience trying to find a sitter for my two pit bulls, I realized that most sitters didn’t accept Pit Bulls and that there was a need for Pittie sitters! I love all breeds and have lots of experience.
About: My family and I are Christians. I was making plans to get my son a dog once he started working this summer. His big sister, who is now 20, worked at Ripleys Aquarium before she joined the Airforce a year ago. He wants a job there this summer just so he can learn more about animals. He is a natural around dogs and other animals. He is an honor role student who wants to be a vet one day. While I was out walking in my neighborhood, I ran into a sweet lady who told us about Rover.com. I thought how perfect is that. We get the love and warmth of a dog, and I will be able to teach my beloved son about responsibility and helping others. Your dog will get the love and care that you would expect and will be completely safe with us. The last dog I owned was a Staffordshire Terrier. We loved him. His resting place is in my home Bermuda.
“Kristen was responsive and punctual, and our dog, Finn, was comfortable with her from the get-go! I felt assured that Finn was in good hands. We’ll definitely reach out to Kristen again if we need a walking/drop-in visit in the future.”
About: Hi, I’m Kensington! I’ve been caring for animals my whole life—everything from cuddly pups and finicky cats to aquatics and scaly creatures (yes, really). I treat every pet like family, with patience, love, and attention to the little things that make them unique. Whether your dog needs a walk, your cat needs a lap to claim, or your shy pet just needs a calm presence, I’ve got them covered. My whole workweek typically revolves around pet care and ensuring other people’s furry friends are well taken care of. As for when I’m not working, I take care of all the sweet furry (and scale-y!) babies in my own home! I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and needs—whether that means sticking to a feeding schedule, giving space to shy pets, or providing plenty of play and snuggles. I keep your home clean and respect your space, just like I do with the animals I care for. I’m experienced, adaptable, and always ready to make your pet feel loved and secure while you’re away.
About: Friends and family in the Myrtle Beach area trust & rely on me to Petsit/ Housesit since retiring here in January 2025 from New York. I am very flexible and have a reliable car to get to you. I have loved dogs since childhood. So I've had lots of them! I come to your home and provide all care as instructed. I play with your pups and speak to them in loving words and tone.
About: The house I grew up in always had dogs around, we used to train them for shows so I have an idea of how to keep pets safe and out of trouble, I have experience with dogs as tiny as a dachshund and as big as a boston mastiff so i’m prepared for anything. I am currently a student at HGTC working on getting my degree in ultrasound tech. I also work part time at the Applebee’s as a server. While all that seems like a lot I actually do get more free time then I expected and I would love to spend that time watching your pets. I like to treat every animal as if it was my own, giving them the same love and respect I would my pets. Whatever you decide is best for how you would like me to watch your animals is how I will do it, it takes a lot of trust to find a sitter so it’s important to me that I follow any guidelines given.

“My Siberian Husky Bella has stayed with Alivia a couple of times now and has been so well taken care of. Alivia is great with her. She keeps us updated on how she is doing and sends pictures! Bella comes home happy and tired. Highly recommended leaving your fur baby with her.”
“I'm so glad I reached out to Jeffrey to board my 9 year old black cat for the week. I was very concerned to "relocating" her to his home for the week during Christmas. Knowing he had no other animals in the house and kids at home during the holidays to keep her company is what made me decide to go this route. It was worth it. Although it took my Pepper time to adjust to the relocation, it turned out to be less stressful to keep her there, than leaving her home alone. (If I leave her alone for a week, she is howling in distress for days after I return) This is the 1st time in years where Pepper was actually calm after my return home. I hope Jeffrey and his family will consider taking her again for my next trip.”
“Duke and Peaches loved staying with Samantha over the holidays. She sent me pictures daily of how they were doing which relieved my anxiety of leaving them behind for a few days. I would definitely recommend Samantha for your pet vacation stay.”
“Debby, or “Aunt Debby” as Knox calls her 😊 provided the best care that I could ask for. I was able to relax on my vacation with peace of mind that my best friend was at home with her. Debby sent informative updates and photos so being away from him was easier. I think he’ll sleep like a baby for a week since she exercised him routinely. He’s a black Lab and it’s hot here in Myrtle Beach, but I didn’t worry since Debby’s level of emergency medical knowledge is far beyond that of any kennel. I will definitely book Camp Debby next time I need to travel without him. Thank you!!!!”
“Janice is THE BEST!!!! After an emergency with a last minute cancellation from an aggressive Myrtle Beach sitter (Jody) Janice picked us up within minutes and saved our family vacation. She was so kind, flexible and sent numerous photos, videos and updates. We will be using her again! Janice is your girl! Beautiful safe neighborhood with great sidewalks. She kept our Shih Tzu boys safe and loved! Thank you Janice! You are a pleasure to anyone who gets to work with you.”
“I felt very comfortable leaving my older small dog with Nicole. She sent lots of pictures and was reassuring, and my dog was in great shape and very happy when I picked her up. Will be using Nicole again!”
“Amy was a wonderful dog sitter! I was so sad dropping the dogs off because we don’t normally leave them, but she kept us regularly updated and they seemed to have had a great time!”
“Jaelyn is one of my favorite Rover sitters that I’ve encountered so far. I’m so happy that Jaelyn and (and friends,) and my pup Shady, all seemed to be such a great fit for each other. I could tell through the many messages and awesome photos I received, that Shady was getting so much love. He has been so worn out this evening after spending his wonderful weekend adventures with Jaelyn.”
