“Emma was great with our dogs, however. We met with her prior to booking so we could get to know her and our dogs could meet her as well. We spoke about the time being 12noon and that was not a problem. The first day (Monday) she was here on time, the next 3 days she arrived at 1pm. 1 hr later then discussed. Then Friday morning she texted us stating she was stuck at a house she was cleaning and was not gonna be able to make it. My wife had to rush from work in Sidney to take them out, then rush back. Keep in mind we had already paid for the entire week.”

About: I have been trusted by many friends and family for years to provide dog care services. I have watched multiple dogs, big dogs, dogs that take meds, anxious dogs, etc. I am willing to walk, check in, or stay nights if needed. With summer my weeks are random. Most weeks I will be free unless already booked. I do online classes so am able to spend a decent amount of time watching dogs. I have watched many dogs in the past. About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. I have 2 dogs and 3 cats at home. My family has always been heavily involved in animal rescue and rehabilitation. I typically work early in the morning and only a couple days per week, there is nearly always someone in my house, if you were to board with me. I typically work from approximately 4am-9am and spend the days with my toddler after I’m off. Your pet would spend the day either by playing in the yard, going on an adventure, or enjoying a relaxing day on the couch. I want your pets to have the most relaxed experience possible while they’re away from home. My yard is completely fenced in and my two dogs, (a 35lb beagle mix and a 50 lb shepherd mix) love other dogs and will be happy to keep your pup company. We also have plenty of space if your pup would prefer some quiet time.

I’ve also lived with roommates who had their own pets and have plenty of experience caring for other peoples animals. -I use to work/volunteer at an animal shelter when I was in college for a year so I have a experience working one on one and with groups of animals -Friends and family always remark on how well I get along with animals and how much I absolutely love them more than humans -I am very cooperative/receptive with your pets needs and your wishes! It’s your pet so you’ll know more than me what they need when it comes to their care. Trust me as a fellow pet owner I know! -I’m always happy to answer questions before you’d like to use me so ask away! I work a full time job Monday through Friday, sometimes weekends, and on 3rd shift hours so my availability will be unfortunately restricted to morning hours, however I will try my best to be as available as possible! Since then, I have done pet sitting/house sitting/babysitting for various friends & family over the years, and eventually started using Rover in 2021. The most dogs I’ve house-sat with at one time are 3. I am accustomed to following your pet’s individualized routine. I am very much a dog lover. I don’t currently own one due to apartment restrictions, but greatly wish I could. I like to dog sit because I get so much out of it. I truly LOVE DOGS! I am quite familiar with various breeds and their unique traits. Some of the breeds I have cared for are as follows: Akita, American Eskimo, Australian Shepherd, Bernedoodle, Bichon Frise, Border Collie, Boxer, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Chow Chow, English Bulldog, Frenchie, German Shepherd, Great Dane, Greyhound, Golden Retriever, Jack Russell Terrier, Labradoodle, Labrador Retriever, Pug, Newfoundland, Rat Terrier, Rottweiler, Saint Bernard, Sheltie, Toy Poodle, Welsh Corgi. I cared quite often for a dog with congestive heart failure who needed medicine & needed monitored for his breathing & risk for fainting. I’ve also cared for blind dogs and older dogs with dementia. Some of the dogs I’ve watched take medicine or have dietary supplements and restrictions. I’ve never had any pet emergencies while pet-sitting for others, but did have to take my family dog on an emergency run in her final days which resulted in her passing from old age at 16 years. I mention this to say, if an emergency would ever arise while pet sitting- I am familiar with the process to get the dog help. I have MedVet info saved to my phone so you can rest easy knowing I am prepared for any out of the ordinary circumstances any time of day or night. I also like cats & have done cat sitting on a more rare occasion, including homes with a cat and dog, or only cats. I have lived with a cat who was very close to me in recent years so I am familiar with their behaviors and needs. I’ve also administered medication to a cat with FIV although it is a bit tricky.
