About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 15. I have helped family members, coworkers, neighbors, and other families by feeding, walking, playing with, etc. with their dogs, including both daytime visits and overnight stays. I also have experience with fostering dogs from a shelter for the day. I would love the opportunity to help you with your dog! I am a student right now and only taking four classes this semester so I have a pretty open schedule. I am available Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in the mornings before 11 and anytime after 12:30/1; and Tuesdays and Thursdays before 9, 12:30-1:30, and after 3:30. My weekends are pretty much open for anytime. I have experience dealing with multiple types of dogs (different breads and sizes) and always listen to the owners request of how things should be done.

About: I've taken care of puppies and senior dogs for 6 years. Mainly for my relatives, friends and coworkers. Now I'm ready to branch out. I have more experience with senior dog care but I do have some knowledge in puppy training and care. I've only taken care of two cats. I'm a stay at home mom and could easily take care of 1-2 dogs at a time. My schedule is flexible. I wake up early and go to bed early for my baby. My husband and I own a duplex with an unfenced yard. Your fur baby will have there own apartment while boarding with us. I'm basically using our upstairs unit as a dog bed and breakfast. I can regularly check on them, take them out for potty breaks and walks in my neighborhood.

About: I've had dogs ever since I was 10, but my experience with them goes far beyond that. When I was a little kid, before I ever had a dog, I would go to this read with a dog program called "Paws to Read." I would spend countless hours reading to the dogs and befriending them, along with a cat or two here and there. When I was 10, I got my first dog, a husky, and gave him a wonderful life. He had quite a few medical issues and behaved older for his age because of it, so I know how to provide senior pet care. He has since passed, but my two current dogs, one pitbull and one pitsky, remind me every day how important pets are to me. I've had them both for eight years now, during which we've taken numerous car rides, walks, enjoyed outside and inside playtime, movie nights, and anything a dog could dream of. Now, while I've never had a cat because of the majority of my family being allergic, I never turn away from a cat. I'm a regular at the Gem City Catfe, where I play with the cats often and have gone so often that they are comfortable with me. I keep cat and dog treats on me in case I come across a stray, because all cats and dogs deserve to feel some love. I've also dog-sat and house-sat for a few friends before, so I know how to handle situations like pets not getting along, bathroom accidents, and being a bit of a picky eater. Currently, I am a full time student and work full time at UDRI (UD's Research Institute) from 8:30am - 3:30am. During the summer I won't be taking any in person classes, just two online. But when I return to UD for my final year, I will be taking classes again and may be slightly more limited. When it comes to my pets and caring for clients pets, the comfort of the pet is most important to me. Personally, my two dogs don't get along with each other very well, so they typically have to be separated. Even so, I always make sure to treat them both equally and give them lots of love! If I take one for a car ride and ice cream, I bring ice cream back for the other and take the other for a car ride later that week. If my client has dogs similar to mine, who need to be separated, I would be sure to treat them equally and split my time with them according to my client's requests. Given single-pet households, I'd spend a lot of my time with them! In my downtime, I'd make sure to sit with them while I work on coursework. I'd be sure to take them on walks and go for potty breaks. And of course I'd make sure we get a lot of play time in and lots of love!

Since then, I have done pet sitting/house sitting/babysitting for various friends & family over the years, and eventually started using Rover in 2021. The most dogs I’ve house-sat with at one time are 3. I am accustomed to following your pet’s individualized routine. I am very much a dog lover. I don’t currently own one due to apartment restrictions, but greatly wish I could. I like to dog sit because I get so much out of it. I truly LOVE DOGS! I am quite familiar with various breeds and their unique traits. Some of the breeds I have cared for are as follows: Akita, American Eskimo, Australian Shepherd, Bernedoodle, Bichon Frise, Border Collie, Boxer, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Chow Chow, English Bulldog, Frenchie, German Shepherd, Great Dane, Greyhound, Golden Retriever, Jack Russell Terrier, Labradoodle, Labrador Retriever, Pug, Newfoundland, Rat Terrier, Rottweiler, Saint Bernard, Sheltie, Toy Poodle, Welsh Corgi. I cared quite often for a dog with congestive heart failure who needed medicine & needed monitored for his breathing & risk for fainting. I’ve also cared for blind dogs and older dogs with dementia. Some of the dogs I’ve watched take medicine or have dietary supplements and restrictions. I’ve never had any pet emergencies while pet-sitting for others, but did have to take my family dog on an emergency run in her final days which resulted in her passing from old age at 16 years. I mention this to say, if an emergency would ever arise while pet sitting- I am familiar with the process to get the dog help. I have MedVet info saved to my phone so you can rest easy knowing I am prepared for any out of the ordinary circumstances any time of day or night. I also like cats & have done cat sitting on a more rare occasion, including homes with a cat and dog, or only cats. I have lived with a cat who was very close to me in recent years so I am familiar with their behaviors and needs. I’ve also administered medication to a cat with FIV although it is a bit tricky. About: Starting in 2015, while working as a housekeeper, I became the go-to pet sitter for many of the families I cleaned for. Even after starting my career as an esthetics instructor, I stayed on as their trusted sitter, continuing to care for their senior cats and dogs alike, foster dogs, special needs dogs, dogs with behavioral issues. About: I have been trusted by many friends and family for years to provide dog care services. I have watched multiple dogs, big dogs, dogs that take meds, anxious dogs, etc. I am willing to walk, check in, or stay nights if needed. With summer my weeks are random. Most weeks I will be free unless already booked. I do online classes so am able to spend a decent amount of time watching dogs. I have watched many dogs in the past. About: I have always had numerous animals(Dogs, cats, etc) growing up that I was responsible for. Also I’ve watched/taken care of Friends and family members animals. I love going on walks and always down for a little furry friend! I currently work full time at a bank but I am willing to do drop ins/walks before and/or after work. Work schedule: M-F 8:30-5:30pm and Sat Off(Most of the time, if I do work then it would be 8:30-12pm) I always have Sundays off and all federal holidays! Also typically if I am working on Saturday then I have Thursday off during the week. This depends on the dog/cat but I will do my best to keep your animals safe and comfortable. I would definitely want a meeting before booking with owner that way the animal has at least seen me before and is not scared or threatened in their own home. I will definitely ask the owners questions about their animals: favorite toys/blanket, favorite treats, any quarks they have, if they need to be crated, favorite exercise etc.

About: I have had animals my whole life. Mostly cats, dogs and rats. I have experience with diabetic dogs and cats, so I am comfortable giving insulin injections if needed. I also have two cats currently that require daily pills, so I have experience in that as well. If your pet requires anything else specific to keep them happy and healthy, I am happy to learn their needs and routines. I am currently an artist that sells my work online and at some in person events. This generally leaves me with a lot of flexibility during the weekdays and weekends where I am not at events. I will keep my availability up to date so that it can accurately show when I am able to come check on your fur baby. I think its most important for your pets to feel safe with me, so I always try to introduce myself slowly and maintain any routines your household has developed for them. I am also happy to send daily photos as I check in, that always makes me feel better when I am away from my cats, so happy to do that or anything else to have you feel good about leaving your furry family in my care.

I care for my animals on a daily basis. Make sure my dogs are walked, played with and make sure their emotional needs are taken care of. I love pets more than anything and would be honored to take care of yours just as I do mine. I currently work full time Monday-Thursday and am looking to add caring for animals into my time off through drop ins and walking!
