“She was excellent. Showed up on time, gave our dogs extra special treatment and gave them four days of great interaction while we were traveling from out of town. Can not recommend her enough.”

“Shaelyn was awesome with Jasper and he seemed very comfortable around her. He is normally a shy dog around new people so I was very happy he didn't seem to have any issues.”

“Bradley did a couple visits with brief walks with my dog Freckles. He did a meet and greet with Freckles and I before hand which was very helpful. He was professional, used the app to send pictures, and was very prompt with responses! I would highly recommend Bradley to anyone, and am happy to know I have someone I trust for any future needs for Freckles!”

About: Providing care for dogs, cats, ferrets, fish, turtles, and birds since I was a kid. Neighbors, friends, and clients seek me out because I care for their pets like they're my own. I work remote so I have time and flexibility to provide your pets with attention and care. My weekends are normally pretty flexible too. Ready to give all the pets love and snuggles! I am able to follow a schedule and instructions if the client wishes or I can determine appropriate care. I have experience administering some medication.
About: I’ve had a few dogs over the years. I love me a senior pupper. I haven’t met a dog that doesn’t like me. Ready to meet and play with all the goodest doggos. I’m currently working part-time where I pick up shifts when people are needed so it is not consistent. Filling in the gaps with pet care is flexible and fun, of course. I will care for your pet(s) as requested and make sure they are safe and comfortable. I will also respect your home and property and will communicate with updates.
“Autumn was such a huge help while I was working. She made sure Koda went on good walks and spent the time to come meet us before we started walking! She is on time and great with animals”

About: “I have several years of experience caring for pets, and I currently live with my own cat, Hamza. He is a friendly, calm, and well-behaved indoor cat who is used to being around other animals. I grew up caring for both dogs and cats, so I understand how important it is to provide consistency, love, and proper daily routines. I’m reliable, patient, and always treat every animal as if they are part of my family. Friends and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, and play with their pets. Whether it’s house sitting, drop-in visits, or dog walking, I make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and well-cared for. Hey My name is Berke. I’m 27 years old, and I currently live in Old North Dayton. My schedule is very flexible because I work from home and manage my own time. This allows me to be available throughout the day for pet care, walks, feedings, playtime, and check-ins. I enjoy spending my free time around animals, so pet care naturally fits into my daily routine I always prioritize safety, trust, and a calm environment when caring for pets. Whether I am in my home or at a client’s home, I make sure the space is clean, secure, and comfortable. I stay attentive to each pet’s needs, follow the owner’s instructions carefully, and maintain open communication. Pets in my care are treated with patience, love, and respect just like family.
“Haley was on time and my pup came back happily tired. She handled his big puppy excitement well getting him to calm down very quickly. Will definitely book again!”

About: I have worked at two credible boarding/animal daycare facilities. I worked at both of these facilities for one year each. I worked with puppies, senior animals, kittens, large animals, and small animals. The first facility I worked at was connected to a vet clinic where I also gained experience. I worked with animals recovering from surgeries and animals with different emotional behaviors. I have been petsitting for 7 years. I am available to work around my class schedule to petsit and have a flexible schedule to watch your pets and care for them like they are my own! I have a six year old dog who I take for a walk 3-4 times a day when I am home from college. I love him so much and he is like my other half! He’s a jack russel with a lot of energy and a huge personality. When I am working with my clients pets, I hangout with them for the majority of the day and treat them like my own!
About: **SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY, PLEASE!** 😄 Hi, I am Isabella and I will be a great companion, friend & nurturer to your pets!! I love to spend time with dogs whether that’s playing with them, going for a walk, a park adventure, giving them baths, rewarding them or just hanging out- I meet all their needs at all times. Aside from that, I also keep your home CLEAN & SAFE! I am huge on safety so you will be in good hands with me. I am also happy to do small errands for you- (mail monitoring, etc.) so you can enjoy your time away from home without worries, or be less distracted during your work day. If requested, I am happy to send picture updates to show your dog is living the dream. 😄😉 I have taken care of dogs of various breeds since I was 9 years old. Growing up, I owned a Chow Chow, which was a real treat. I even loved giving her baths! She had 2 litters of puppies-sets of 6 & 8, so I got lots of joy from training & playing with puppies until they were adopted. Since then, I have done pet sitting/house sitting/babysitting for various friends & family over the years, and eventually started using Rover in 2021. The most dogs I’ve house-sat with at one time are 3. I am accustomed to following your pet’s individualized routine. I am very much a dog lover. I don’t currently own one due to apartment restrictions, but greatly wish I could. I like to dog sit because I get so much out of it. I truly LOVE DOGS! I am quite familiar with various breeds and their unique traits. Some of the breeds I have cared for are as follows: Akita, American Eskimo, Australian Shepherd, Bernedoodle, Bichon Frise, Border Collie, Boxer, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Chow Chow, English Bulldog, Frenchie, German Shepherd, Great Dane, Greyhound, Golden Retriever, Jack Russell Terrier, Labradoodle, Labrador Retriever, Pug, Newfoundland, Rat Terrier, Rottweiler, Saint Bernard, Sheltie, Toy Poodle, Welsh Corgi. I cared quite often for a dog with congestive heart failure who needed medicine & needed monitored for his breathing & risk for fainting. I’ve also cared for blind dogs and older dogs with dementia. Some of the dogs I’ve watched take medicine or have dietary supplements and restrictions. I’ve never had any pet emergencies while pet-sitting for others, but did have to take my family dog on an emergency run in her final days which resulted in her passing from old age at 16 years. I mention this to say, if an emergency would ever arise while pet sitting- I am familiar with the process to get the dog help. I have MedVet info saved to my phone so you can rest easy knowing I am prepared for any out of the ordinary circumstances any time of day or night. I also like cats & have done cat sitting on a more rare occasion, including homes with a cat and dog, or only cats. I have lived with a cat who was very close to me in recent years so I am familiar with their behaviors and needs. I’ve also administered medication to a cat with FIV although it is a bit tricky. I hope that I have given you good insight on my pet sitting experience and look forward to being your new dog or even cat sitter if needed! Please feel free to ask questions! I look forward to meeting your pet soon! Thanks for reading my profile. I currently have a very adaptable schedule and i’m currently accepting new clients and bookings at this time, although I am typically in high demand. I can walk your dog around the neighborhood or take the pet to the nearest park, if it’s during a safe time of the day and a more safe neighborhood! I am sure to give frequent bathroom breaks & always take the dog out right before bed time! I will care for your home & possessions like they are my own. I always leave the home in the same condition I arrived to or even a touch more tidy if I am house sitting.
About: I have been an animal lover my entire life and have raised puppies and kittens. I have dog/cat sit since high school and have always enjoyed our furry friends! I currently am in my Graduate Program at UD and have plenty of time to take care of your lovely animals! My availability is fairly open and varies day-to-day as I am a current student at The University of Dayton and am also a student-athlete. Let me know your schedule and we can work something out ASAP! As an animal-lover and owner myself, I know how important it is for your believed fur baby to feel safe, comforted, and at peace. I am prepared to make your fur baby’s day whether it be playing in the yard, a nice walk, or chilling on the couch!
About: I’ve always had small dogs — it’s kind of a family tradition. (Mostly Chihuahuas… if you’ve met one, you know exactly what that means! 🥴😝) I also walk my aunt’s dog, who’s a little bigger, and I’m usually the one friends call when they need someone to care for their pets — dogs or cats — while they’re away. After 13+ years in retail (yes, at Old Navy — and no, it’s not like the commercials 😅), I realized my real passion has always been spending time with animals. I’m kind, patient, and protective, and I genuinely enjoy giving pets the time, affection, and attention they deserve. So if you’re looking for someone dependable who will treat your pets like family — I’m your person. (And hey, if your pets have tiny wardrobes, I’m great at folding those too! 😝) I’m currently working full-time in retail, but I’m hoping to transition into pet care full-time. My goal is to establish regular clients so I can eventually dedicate all my time to caring for dogs and cats. For now, I’m flexible with my retail schedule and happy to work around it to make sure your pets get the care and attention they need. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on keeping them comfortable, safe, and loved. I always take time to learn each pet’s routine — feeding schedule, favorite toys, walks, and any special needs or habits. If I’m watching pets in a client’s home, I make sure to keep things consistent with their normal routine so they feel relaxed. I give plenty of playtime, cuddles, and attention, and I always keep food and water areas clean. I also send photo updates so owners know their pets are happy and cared for. If I’m caring for animals in my own home, I create a calm, pet-friendly environment — secure spaces for cats to explore, comfy spots for naps, and safe outdoor time (if allowed). I treat every pet as if they’re my own, because that’s what I’d want for my animals too. While my own yard is smaller and perfect for my small dogs, my sister has a much larger yard, and she’s given me full access to her home and property whenever needed. That means I have plenty of safe space available for bigger dogs to play and get the exercise they need.
About: I've had dogs ever since I was 10, but my experience with them goes far beyond that. When I was a little kid, before I ever had a dog, I would go to this read with a dog program called "Paws to Read." I would spend countless hours reading to the dogs and befriending them, along with a cat or two here and there. When I was 10, I got my first dog, a husky, and gave him a wonderful life. He had quite a few medical issues and behaved older for his age because of it, so I know how to provide senior pet care. He has since passed, but my two current dogs, one pitbull and one pitsky, remind me every day how important pets are to me. I've had them both for eight years now, during which we've taken numerous car rides, walks, enjoyed outside and inside playtime, movie nights, and anything a dog could dream of. Now, while I've never had a cat because of the majority of my family being allergic, I never turn away from a cat. I'm a regular at the Gem City Catfe, where I play with the cats often and have gone so often that they are comfortable with me. I keep cat and dog treats on me in case I come across a stray, because all cats and dogs deserve to feel some love. I've also dog-sat and house-sat for a few friends before, so I know how to handle situations like pets not getting along, bathroom accidents, and being a bit of a picky eater. Currently, I am a full time student and work as a part time tutor. My classes typically consist of Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9-2:15 and Tuesday and Thursdays 11-1:45. Then, I work 3:30-6:30 (sometimes 7:30) as a tutor When it comes to my pets and caring for clients pets, the comfort of the pet is most important to me. Personally, my two dogs don't get along with each other very well, so they typically have to be separated. Even so, I always make sure to treat them both equally and give them lots of love! If I take one for a car ride and ice cream, I bring ice cream back for the other and take the other for a car ride later that week. If my client has dogs similar to mine, who need to be separated, I would be sure to treat them equally and split my time with them according to my client's requests. Given single-pet households, I'd spend a lot of my time with them! In my downtime, I'd make sure to sit with them while I work on coursework. I'd be sure to take them on walks and go for potty breaks. And of course I'd make sure we get a lot of play time in and lots of love!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for over a decade now, and I had dogs while growing up. I currently have a 7 year old Labrador who I love to walk and take on adventures. I have also fostered a few dogs in the past. I have a ton of experience with cats as well. I have previously completed a dog care class that was required to volunteer at SICSA. I know all dogs come with very different personalities, and I look forward to getting to know yours! I love to take pictures of animals in my care, so if you like getting photo updates I can happily accommodate that. I work afternoon/evenings, so I am available every day until 1:30 pm or all day on Sundays. I am available in the evenings if I am not working, but the days of the week that I work changes every week. I usually get my schedule about a week ahead of time. I always do my best to be aware of each animal’s individual needs and behaviors. I always walk my dog with his harness and collar, and I am able to accommodate whatever gear your animal is used to wearing. Out of an abundance of caution, I do not let any dogs in my care interact with other dogs that are not already known to them. If your dog is reactive to other animals I will make sure to stay extra far away from any other dogs who we see on our walks. When caring for pets in their home I always make sure all doors are locked and secure when coming & going. This includes making sure any fenced yard gates are secured before letting the animal outside. I also am very cautious of animals who are ‘door darters.’
About: I'm the girl who stops you on your walk and asks to pet your dog. I love interacting with animals of all types. I enjoy nature and all things living, as well as cuddling on the couch with furbabies. I have two small, well behaved dogs that I've trained myself, and am comfortable with all breeds. We love to go on nature walks and interact with other dogs (my dogs are very social and love making new friends). I have superior attention to detail and I pride myself in doing the best I can. I have previous pet sitting experience for large dogs in a large scale home and am comfortable taking on any task. I work as an after school teacher for fourth graders, so this is my main source of employment. Let me show you what I can do!
