Experienced with dogs of all breeds, Giving kitties and pups meds, feeding, special diet, walks, play time, special needs too! About: I've taken care of puppies and senior dogs for 6 years. Mainly for my relatives, friends and coworkers. Now I'm ready to branch out. I have more experience with senior dog care but I do have some knowledge in puppy training and care. I've only taken care of two cats. I'm a stay at home mom and could easily take care of 1-2 dogs at a time. My schedule is flexible. I wake up early and go to bed early for my baby. My husband and I own a duplex with an unfenced yard. Your fur baby will have there own apartment while boarding with us. I'm basically using our upstairs unit as a dog bed and breakfast. I can regularly check on them, take them out for potty breaks and walks in my neighborhood.

Since then, I have done pet sitting/house sitting/babysitting for various friends & family over the years, and eventually started using Rover in 2021. The most dogs I’ve house-sat with at one time are 3. I am accustomed to following your pet’s individualized routine. I am very much a dog lover. I don’t currently own one due to apartment restrictions, but greatly wish I could. I like to dog sit because I get so much out of it. I truly LOVE DOGS! I am quite familiar with various breeds and their unique traits. Some of the breeds I have cared for are as follows: Akita, American Eskimo, Australian Shepherd, Bernedoodle, Bichon Frise, Border Collie, Boxer, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Chow Chow, English Bulldog, Frenchie, German Shepherd, Great Dane, Greyhound, Golden Retriever, Jack Russell Terrier, Labradoodle, Labrador Retriever, Pug, Newfoundland, Rat Terrier, Rottweiler, Saint Bernard, Sheltie, Toy Poodle, Welsh Corgi. I cared quite often for a dog with congestive heart failure who needed medicine & needed monitored for his breathing & risk for fainting. I’ve also cared for blind dogs and older dogs with dementia. Some of the dogs I’ve watched take medicine or have dietary supplements and restrictions. I’ve never had any pet emergencies while pet-sitting for others, but did have to take my family dog on an emergency run in her final days which resulted in her passing from old age at 16 years. I mention this to say, if an emergency would ever arise while pet sitting- I am familiar with the process to get the dog help. I have MedVet info saved to my phone so you can rest easy knowing I am prepared for any out of the ordinary circumstances any time of day or night. I also like cats & have done cat sitting on a more rare occasion, including homes with a cat and dog, or only cats. I have lived with a cat who was very close to me in recent years so I am familiar with their behaviors and needs. I’ve also administered medication to a cat with FIV although it is a bit tricky. About: I have had animals my whole life. Mostly cats, dogs and rats. I have experience with diabetic dogs and cats, so I am comfortable giving insulin injections if needed. I also have two cats currently that require daily pills, so I have experience in that as well. If your pet requires anything else specific to keep them happy and healthy, I am happy to learn their needs and routines. I am currently an artist that sells my work online and at some in person events. This generally leaves me with a lot of flexibility during the weekdays and weekends where I am not at events. I will keep my availability up to date so that it can accurately show when I am able to come check on your fur baby. I think its most important for your pets to feel safe with me, so I always try to introduce myself slowly and maintain any routines your household has developed for them. I am also happy to send daily photos as I check in, that always makes me feel better when I am away from my cats, so happy to do that or anything else to have you feel good about leaving your furry family in my care.

About: Hello, I have worked for rescues I volunteered for shelters. I’m that crazy cat lady that will pick up an injured cat off of the side of the road or in the neighborhood that needs help because as human beings we are here to help the helpless and give them a voice. Hello, I foster and help out with the stray community of cats. I am very into TNR trap neuter release I think as human beings we are here to help the helpless and give these animals a voice. I care for my animals on a daily basis. Make sure my dogs are walked, played with and make sure their emotional needs are taken care of. I make sure my cats always are fed, taken care of and all their litter boxes are cleaned on a daily basis. I feel like a clean environment for your animals is the best environment and they will thrive.

I am a very clean and cut healthcare professional that loves to care for animals on the side, your dogs and cats will come home happy and healthy. I work part time in healthcare, if the time you need is during one of my workdays, I may have to reject the booking depending on what it is. Other than that, pet care fits well into my life. I have a fenced yard and one dog & one cat of my own. I also have a number of large dog parks nearby, as well as walking paths to go to.

About: I have always had numerous animals(Dogs, cats, etc) growing up that I was responsible for. Also I’ve watched/taken care of Friends and family members animals. I love going on walks and always down for a little furry friend! I currently work full time since I am an assistant manager but I am willing to do drop ins/walks before and/or after I go into work. Work schedule: M-F 8:30-5:30pm and Sat Off(Most of the time, if I do work then it would be 8:30-12pm) I always have Sundays off Also typically if I am working on Saturday then I have Thursday off during the week This depends on the dog/cat but I will do my best to keep your animals safe and comfortable. I would definitely want a meeting before booking with owner that way the animal has at least seen me before and is not scared or threatened in their own home. I will definitely ask the owners questions about their animals: favorite toys/blanket, favorite treats, any quarks they have, if they need to be crated, favorite exercise etc.
