“I was coming to a Dayton Ohio for work and I was bringing my mini golden doodle pup along. I needed someone trustworthy to watch my baby boy, Arlo. I came across Katherine’s profile and immediately had that instinct that she was the one 😊 she was accommodating to my over protective mommy needs and agreed to hop on a zoom call with me beforehand. She was warm, nice and kind. It also helped she has 3 adorable little fur baby girls too. For the 4 days I was here for work she would take care of Arlo for me all day. She was extremely responsive and would send me pictures and videos all day without me even having to ask. She has a nice big fenced in backyard that Arlo loved running around freely in all day. Each evening I would pick him up he was exhausted from having fun playing all day. (His besty was her dog, Vanilla) 😊 I cannot recommend Katherine enough. She made my experience great and worry free. About: I truly love animals, and have some training background. I always had my own personal dogs, until recently, so I am open to caring for yours. Your animals will be well taken care of, and I will provide consistencies they are use to at home upon request. I work from home 4 days a week, but my mom who works from home is home daily. Animals are never unsupervised! I get home around 5pm when I go into work. I walk dogs as much needed and have necessary needs provided in house (leash, bowls, mid size cage, brush, yard, etc). No worries if certain materials run out or are not provided.

About: I have been around & taken care of animals almost all my life. I currently have no pets of my own I have owned a dog in the past. I have some experience walking and sitting my family members animals. I live in a fairly quiet neighborhood with a park just a few minutes away from my home. I joined rover to be able to help with other animals & share my love during my time with them however you choose to book. I work from home so I will have full attention to meet all requirements for each & every pet.I don’t usually like to leave my house much while boarding so if I do it would be something important Always keep a clean & safe environment for them, also try to stick to their routine so they can be comfortable with a new person

About: I’ve had my first dog( Bandit) for 10 years. Since I was 9, I would take care of him on the daily. I would be the one to bathe, feed, play with him, and walk him. My extended family even trusted me to care for their pets while they’ve been away. I also own many different kinds of pets other than dogs and cats, so animal care is something I have adapted to. For the past two years, I have had experience in intensive dog training and I am educated in dog behavior. I attend The Ohio State University studying Biology in order to become a Veterinarian. Not only do i need to earn a bachelor’s degree to get into vet school, but i also need hours of experience. To achieve that, I have volunteered at ASPCA (animal rescue organization) to care for the many animals in need. While there, I learned how to care for animals that have been in rough situations. I am able to manage dogs that are twice my size. As a crazy animal lover, I'd love to meet your pets! As of right now , I am available all day everyday to care for my own pets and yours too! I work from home, so pet care is something I’m able to do on the side. At home, I just got a fenced yard installed, but I take my pets out on walks. They are under my super vision 24/7. If my client has a fenced yard, I will happily take them outside as needed and provide playtime.

“Loree and Jeff were great with my German Shepard! I cannot say enough good things about this couple. My boy received plenty of exercise (playing ball and walking) which he needs every day. He came home tired every day which to me is a sign of an awesome day for my boy. He also received snuggles and love as well. Communication was excellent via text and several photos were provided every day. Five star rating--that's for sure.”

About: I have been trusted by family & friends to watch their beloved pets for years! Now that I own my home, my fiancé and I have 4 pets together (2 dogs & 2 cats) that we have learned so much from! We are also certified fosters through 2 different groups. I have experience with caring for & training puppies & kittens, post op care, and basic medical needs (ie eye drops/oral medication). Taking care of your pets & mine is my number one priority! Working a flexible, part-time, wfh job gives me the ability to make animal care my priority! Pets will be tended to at their normal schedule to keep them as comfortable as possible. All pets will be left alone as minimally as possible (0-3 hours per day), and will be crated/contained when alone. Pets in my care will be treated just as my own, and be given the most attention and love possible. Pets will be crated or contained when alone & at nighttime (8 hours or less if needed). Pets will be given lots of outside time (on leash) and enrichment activities like puzzle feeders, snuffle mat, training for fun, etc, will be provided.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 16 I took care of him like he was a human being. I love taking care of dogs 🐩 I am currently a full time college student and I am looking for a part time job to help fulfill my schedule and why not spend it doing something i really would enjoy doing I have a nice fielded area where the dog can go for walks and play and use the bathroom in my home I would offer that the dogs are potty trained and comes with the dog food and treats to help me take care of your fury cute companion

About: I enjoy helping friends and family with their pets and am looking forward to meeting your four-legged besties. Our family loves animals of all kinds. I am a STAHM to two littles so I am always available to spend time with your dogs, but we do require them to be kid-friendly. We recently had two older dogs who passed away so we are happy to get our dog time in before we commit to a new family pet. Our backyard is not fenced but we enjoy taking walks around the neighborhood! I took a break from dog sitting while my two littles were babies. Now I am staying at home with them and we love taking walks so I thought we would starting taking care of dogs again! We have an open floor plan house and a big yard, our yard isn’t fenced so we do lots of walks and just spending time together outside!

About: I’ve always been exceptionally empathetic towards animals, and I’d like your pets to feel as if they’re on vacation when they’re with me. When I first started rover, an owner saw how well I cared for their dogs, and they became like my second family during college. I still visit after moving away. My family dog is a husky, so I can take on big energetic dogs, and my first dog ever was a Yorkshire terrier with medical problems, so I know how to administer medication if needed (I have a background in the medical field as well). You can have a stress free day knowing your animals are safe and well cared for with me. I will be with your pet the entire stay, so you don’t ever have to worry about them being left alone for long periods of time. I live in a townhouse, so I have two levels, making it larger than your average apartment. I also have a back yard with a lead allowing your dog to run around without being hand held on a leash for every potty break. I also enjoy to walk the dogs around the complex, as they get “new information” and excitement from smelling new experiences around them.

About: I have rescued animals and taken care of them my entire life:) I have unbreakably strong empathy for animals in need, and their owners! I’ve had experience with administering medication to my own rescues, and experience with elderly dog/kitty care. I devote my time and energy happily to every animal I meet, and no fur baby goes unnoticed or uncared for. As long as your pet is under my care, they will always be safe and loved! I’m working part time currently, so I have plenty of availability to take on fur babies! I’m available every weekday for anytime, and weekends after 3pm I have a fenced in back patio, and plenty of outdoor space for walks and potties! And I have two kitties of my own to keep any other puppies/kitties company. I have a two story townhouse where there is plenty of space

Tim and Kasia also were very generous with their time when we visited beforehand and answered all of our questions. They have been very trustworthy and we will be back!”

About: Dogs have been a part of my life since I was a teenager and I cannot imagine life without at least one. I have seen an uptick in requests from family and neighbors to take care of their furry friends when they are away and am always happy to do so. I am dedicated to making sure that their pets feel as comfortable in my home as they would in their own. I currently work from home the majority of the time and my wife works from home full time. Between the two of us we have enough flexibility to let dogs out in the yard to play or take them on short walks. I have a fenced in yard and a dog of my own, Smokey. If house-trained, I like to let dogs have the run of the house. I will crate dogs if I have to leave the house, at least until I get a sense of how they do on their own.

About: I have a degree in veterinary technology and used to work in clinics and veterinary ER. I personally have three dogs, three guinea pigs a bearded dragon and am fostering a kitten. I take the care of animals to heart and cater my approach to each of their personalities. I can perform CPR if needed and am able to administer medications and help with any specialized needs. I’ve worked with dogs and cats of all ages and can meet their needs. I also can manage exotic animals. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask! I work from home so my schedule is flexible. I keep my dogs on somewhat of a routine as I have semi high energy breeds. Though we do lounge around at home when they’re feeling lazy. I treat all animals with the highest level of care whether it is my own pet or someone else’s. I have my eyes on the pets at all times both inside and outside of the home. I worked in the veterinary field through college and retired in 2024. All that knowledge stays with me and I continue to stay up to date on animal care. You will get regular photo updates of your babies during my drop in’s and/or boarding.
