About: I have been around & taken care of animals almost all my life. I currently have no pets of my own I have owned a dog in the past. I have some experience walking and sitting my family members animals. I live in a fairly quiet neighborhood with a park just a few minutes away from my home. I joined rover to be able to help with other animals & share my love during my time with them however you choose to book. I work from home so I will have full attention to meet all requirements for each & every pet.I don’t usually like to leave my house much while boarding so if I do it would be something important Always keep a clean & safe environment for them, also try to stick to their routine so they can be comfortable with a new person

“I was coming to a Dayton Ohio for work and I was bringing my mini golden doodle pup along. I needed someone trustworthy to watch my baby boy, Arlo. She was warm, nice and kind. It also helped she has 3 adorable little fur baby girls too. For the 4 days I was here for work she would take care of Arlo for me all day. I cared quite often for a dog with congestive heart failure who needed medicine & needed monitored for his breathing & risk for fainting. I’ve also cared for blind dogs and older dogs with dementia. Some of the dogs I’ve watched take medicine or have dietary supplements and restrictions. I’ve never had any pet emergencies while pet-sitting for others, but did have to take my family dog on an emergency run in her final days which resulted in her passing from old age at 16 years. I mention this to say, if an emergency would ever arise while pet sitting- I am familiar with the process to get the dog help. I have MedVet info saved to my phone so you can rest easy knowing I am prepared for any out of the ordinary circumstances any time of day or night. I also like cats & have done cat sitting on a more rare occasion, including homes with a cat and dog, or only cats. I have lived with a cat who was very close to me in recent years so I am familiar with their behaviors and needs. I’ve also administered medication to a cat with FIV although it is a bit tricky. “Sierra was scheduled to sit our two pups while we were out of town for 5 days. Unfortunately, our eldest Dozer, had a mast cell tumor that needed to be removed immediately a few days before our departure. Sierra was extra careful with him and even took him into the vet when his incision became infected. She sent pictures a few times a day and was extremely responsive. She is byfar the best sitter we've found on Rover and would highly recommend her to watch your pups. She will take care of them as if they are her own.”
