“What a fabulous experience this was I could not be more happy. I had never left my little one before. This wasn’t my first time and I can tell she had an awesome experience. I did not wanna leave her alone because we were out of town. It would have to leave her alone all day long this way we only had to leave her for three hours Usually when I come back she’s shaking and crying and very sad if I were to leave her alone. When I came to pick her up from Julie she was happy and playful and wonderful. The care she received was excellent. Julie ‘s home was clean and inviting and safe for my baby. I will recommend her to everyone. We are going out of town for a week and I was gonna take my baby with me and find Care out there, but I’ve decided I’m going to leave her with Julie because she could not be more capable of caring for puppies than anybody I’ve ever known Thank you, Julie for being so wonderful to my baby. About: I have experience with Elderly dogs as well as puppies. I have some experience with training and am able to assist with simple commands like sit, stay and heel. I have experience with reactive dogs as I used to have one of my own and am very good at soothing stressed animals and keeping them under control. I am a University student and will be leaving Wilmington on July 10th. However I do regularly return for holidays and will be back in December. I am a very diligent caretaker always keeping an eye on the pet and taking time to determine what they need when they express distress. I am very active and love being in nature so I am happy to take as many walks as might be necessary!

About: I’m a dog lover with one very sweet pup, Goose. I recently lost my beloved pittie, DJ, and while I’m not ready to bring a second dog into my family full-time just yet, I do miss having a second set of paws in the house. That’s why I started Rover. It felt like a beautiful way to share my home, help another family, and bring some joy back into my daily routine. I work from home, so your dog will have constant company, plenty of attention, and a peaceful, structured environment. Goose and I do two walks a day (morning and evening, when it’s not too hot!) around the quiet pond in my neighborhood. I have a spacious house with lots of room to play, sunbathe, and snooze. And yes, the dogs are absolutely allowed on the couch, the bed, and pretty much wherever they feel comfy. My backyard isn’t fully fenced, but I use long 20-foot staked leashes so the dogs can safely run, lounge, and soak up the sun while I hang out with them outside. What sets me apart? I really love dogs. Like, more than most humans. I treat every dog like my own, with gentleness, attention, and a deep respect for their routines, quirks, and needs. Goose is the ultimate host: calm, kind, and respectful with every pup he meets. Whether your dog needs space, playtime, meds, or just someone to sit with them while they nap, I’m here for it! Pet care is part of my everyday routine. I work from home, so your pup will have constant company, whether they want to play, nap nearby, or just follow me around like the world’s cutest coworker. I only host one dog at a time (or one family of dogs), so your pup will never be overwhelmed or competing for attention. If it’s your first time booking with me, I like to schedule a quick meet-and-greet to make sure your dog and Goose get along. He’s incredibly sweet and respectful, but I want everyone to feel safe and comfortable before a stay. I supervise all outdoor time. My yard isn’t fenced, but I use 20-foot staked leashes so the dogs can safely lounge and sniff while I’m outside with them. Inside, it’s a calm, cozy, dog-friendly home. Couches, beds, and sunny spots are all fair game. I’ll keep your pup’s routine consistent: feeding schedules, crate time (if needed, just bring yours), and any medication they need. Whatever they’re used to, I’ll stick to it. You’ll get regular updates and plenty of cute photos, and your dog will be treated like one of my own.

About: I am a registered nurse currently staying at home with my two children. I am a huge dog lover and am looking to make some extra income while staying home with my babies. I grew up in a household that always had dogs as part of the family and have a lot of experience taking care of dogs. My family bred our labs and our golden retrievers so I have experience with puppies as well. Each liter had about ten puppies and it was my responsibility to take them out, feed them, clean up after them and of course show them extra love and play with them. I want to be able to give families peace of mind that there pet is in good hands when I am caring for them. Thank you in advance. About: I’ve been a pet owner for many years. My family and I often pet sit for friends. We love opening our home to furry friends! I am currently staying home with my kids for summer break, so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your pets! During the school year I will move to a part time work schedule, which allows me to have time for pet sitting as well. I offer a smoke free home with multiple pet safety features including pet gates up and only pet toys allowed in the designated pet areas. I am able to provide plenty of leashed walks on my quiet neighborhood street and large yard! I do have chickens that remain in their fenced in coop during pet sitting. About: Hi! I’ve had a lifelong passion for animals, especially dogs. Growing up with pets and volunteering with two different animal rescue organizations helped shape the love and care I bring to every animal I meet. At home, I have three pups of my own: • Beckett – a sweet 3-year-old female Cavalier Spaniel • Butch – a gentle 2-year-old Cocker Spaniel who’s a little shy around other males • Bailey – our playful 7-month-old Cavalier Spaniel puppy who’s still learning her manners Because I want to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable, I always require a meet-and-greet before confirming any booking. My dogs are friendly, fixed (except the puppy), and supervised closely—especially little Bailey, who’s full of energy but takes plenty of naps throughout the day. My dogs enjoy regular grooming, nutritious food, and lots of love—and yours will too! I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. When your fur baby stays with me, they’ll be treated like family, with lots of affection, personalized care, and plenty of playtime. Taking care of dogs is just part of my everyday life! I work from home, so I’m with my dogs pretty much all day. We keep a regular routine of potty breaks, playtime, and light training throughout the day. My home features a spacious, fully fenced backyard where your pup can run freely, play fetch, or relax under our shaded pet cabana. For my boarding clients, your dog will have their own cozy “suite” in a dedicated dog room stocked with everything they need for a comfortable and fun stay. The space includes two large, sanitized crates reserved exclusively for Rover guests, freshly laundered beds, a wide variety of toys, extra treats, leashes, harnesses etc. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are my top priorities during their stay!

About: I have a fairly large background in animal care, it has always been a passion of mine - specifically dogs & horses. I take pride in how well I care for animals. I do not have a fenced yard yet but the dogs will be strictly supervised on a leash when outside of my home. I have 1.2 acres and a great neighborhood for walks. I will gladly work on in home manners with your dog/s while in my care as I believe training should be daily and enjoyable! I work part time and also own a photography business so my schedule is pretty flexible for dog sitting. I do this primarily cause my dog loves to have a friend over and since we are out in the country there are not too many other dogs for her to play with nearby. - Dogs are ALWAYS supervised and on a leash when outside of my house. - Dogs must be up to date on all shots. - Dogs are to be crated when my direct attention is not on them or if I need to go run a quick errand. This is never for longer than 2 hours. I have two large crates. - Dogs are crated at bed time. Usually around 9pm-7am. This may vary depending on dog's usual schedule. - Dogs have daily individualized walks. - I will help instill everyday manners & any sort of training help you may need. - Of course treats & cuddles daily! - I have a TON of references, you may ask me for the list!
