“Had to be admitted to the hospital and I knew I would be gone for a few days so I needed to look for someone who could drop in a couple times a day to feed and care for my two cats. I chose Liam for his rating and he lived closed to my home. I was not disappointed and will definitely use him again if the need arises. I receive daily pictures and updates which alleviated any anxiety about their condition and they looked exactly like they would if I were there; meaning I have one calm cat and one anxious cat and the pictures showed they were totally behaving as they usually do so I knew they were fine. 😂 Thank you Liam!!!”

“Paula was so great and took fantastic care of our cats! I felt so much better leaving them knowing they were in good hands. Thank you so much, we will definitely be rebooking soon!”

“Marilin took excellent care of our French bulldog. She’s highly responsive and responsible. Her updates were clear and complete, and we came home to a happy dog!”

“Blair did a great job attending our two kitties for a 7 day vacation! He dropped by twice a day for 30 minutes- gave the cats food, treats, cleaned their litter and played with them! He was very responsive and sent us pictures and videos of the cats daily. It was my first time leaving my babies, but Blair helped to assuage my guilt of leaving them, by taking care of them so well! I would hire Blair again for our next vacation. Thanks so much Blair!”

“Paola has watched my cat two times now, and both times went very well. She is great with communication, and always sends updates with cute videos/photographs. I feel relieved to have found her for when I am out of town!”

“I cannot speak more highly of Marilyn!!!!!! She is THE BEST dog sitter I could ever, EVER ask for!!!!! No others compare!!!! Not only is she so gentle and responsible with my dog, but she goes above and beyond what is asked for; taking him to the nearby playground for fun times, relaxing in the sun, cuddling and loving on him in my home, sweetly playing with his favorite toys, even taking selfies to show me how much she cares for him. It literally brings tears to my eyes seeing these pictures because of how safe I feel Mickey is and how wonderful she is!!! She follows instructions to the tee and she’s perfect!! I adore her!!! Please use her!!!! Your puppy will have another mommy 🤗🐶❤️”

About: I am a dog mom currently without a dog. I lost my soul dog, Bogart, in 2023 after having him from 10 weeks old to just shy of his 14th birthday. He was so spoiled, everyone we know can confirm. During his last few years, he suffered from a collapsed trachea so we went through many health phases. He lived three years past when the vet said we would probably lose him. I feel that’s due to my love and care. I’m also the person at friends and family’s houses that their pets flock too. Dogs, and even cats, just know I’m an animal lover. I would love to love on your furry child. I’m currently a self employed cake baker and decorator with lots of time on my hands. I may even bring some fresh baked doggy treats for your pet, assuming you’re ok with it. My dog Bogart used to love his peanut butter, banana, and pumpkin treats. I’m willing to do whatever works for your pet and your home. I’m used to crate training but if you need a stay over night visit, I’m fine with your dog sleeping in bed if that’s what they are used to. I’m there to keep them company, keep them safe and keep them loved.

About: (UPDATED 07/25) Hi there! I'm Jess. I've been working through Rover for 7 years now. Presently, I offer house sitting, drop-ins, and walks. Previously, my days were filled with doggy day care (3 repeat, regular clients) and overnight boarding. For the safety of my cat and your animal, I can no longer offer day care and boarding. I work remotely in media management for a television streaming service which provides me the fortunate flexibility throughout the day to watch and care for your dogs. Your dog (or dogs!) will be in quality hands, as they are my number one priority while you enjoy your vacation, business trip, or just need a last minute sitter! I get it! You will receive timely updates as requested. As a pet owner myself, I empathize with the need to have someone reliable, trust-worthy, smart and caring. I exercise a level of care no less than I would expect for my pet. I work remotely (Monday - Friday) for a job where I can devote ample time to your dog(s). Able to walk/take out every 2 hours, if necessary. In the nicer weather, I work outside with them. No matter what, I always ensure your dog(s) are comfortable, safe, and their needs are met as if they were my own. I feel grateful to be in a flexible position in order to help you! On the weekends, I can definitely be more adventurous with your dog. I gather information from you (if not already provided), especially before staying in your home (behaviors, feeding, outside/walking schedules, training, sleeping, kenneling, restrictions, emergency care, etc). I'm extra attentive to your dog's behavior if I am new, since they're just getting to trust me. I keep their routine as normal as possible and provide a safe, playful environment while you are away.

About: Ever since I can remember, cats and dog has always been part of the family. Throughout the years, I've picked up essential skills and tips in order to provide necessities to pets while having fun and safe. I'm a college student who has open hours in the early mornings and afternoons in order to provide support to pet families whether it's walking, keep an eye on, and more! I have a Maltese who has a schedule of when to take her out, feeding, and walks that she became the early bird of attending her needs and activities. As for cats, I've taken care of kittens of 2 weeks old where they also have a more frequent bottle feeding schedule, provide heating pad in order to be warm, and clean their home constantly.

About: I have been taking care of all types of animals from the age of 9 years old, wether it be my own pets, or it being family friends, neighbors, and even coworkers Available throughout any time over the weekends, day or night. I am flexible to work through the weekdays for any of your loving pets needs. I follow the instructions provided to me, or that are set in my own house. Given with lots of love and attention, and all the playing we can get in.

About: I have a natural connection to pets. If a dog gets out of hand, I make sure to remain patient so that they have a chance to reciprocate calm energy. Not afraid of accident attendance. Big time walker. I'm currently using this to fill in some time while I'm looking for another part-time position. In the meantime, I have a lot of time on my hands. Even so, once I secure one it will not stop me from taking care of pets. I take my dog on walks and make sure he gets a good play session in our fenced-in backyard so he isn't restless. Also a great lounger if you just need a live eye on the furball.

“June was a fantastic pet sitter! Took great care of my cats, with attention, love and photos of how they were doing while I was away. I could not have asked for a better caregiver, and would highly recommend her!”

About: Hi! My name is Xiomara and I love all animals :) I have been a pet sitter for a many years now. I’m very hands on and love to spend time playing, cuddling, running, and ensuring that your fur baby gets the attention they need. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, cats, rabbits, fish, birds, ferrets, and many more. Having also been a babysitter for over 10 years, I have encountered many pets throughout my time spent with various families and understand the importance of catering to the different and unique needs of each pet and their distinct personalities. Thank you for considering me to care for your pets and I can’t wait to hear from you! I currently work full time Monday through Friday with two work from home days. I’m available before and after work on my three in-office days and have open availability on weekends. I can fully adapt to any specific routine your pets need to follow in the comfort of their home. I know every pet has varying routines and know the importance of sticking to their specific needs. For longer stays, I try to make myself available to ensure pets are still receiving love and cuddles they need while their parents are away!

About: I have helped many of my neighbors with their dogs from house visits to just walking them. Being with dogs is a pleasure not a job. Having a dog is apart of a family and should be treated like family and nothing else. I have fostered dogs, 2 to be exact. One of the dogs was a puppy and was adopted 3 days upon arrival from South Carolina. The other dog was a stray (new name Lily) and with no information I took care of her and was adopted 4 days later. I’ve gotten calls or text from neighbors that need help in the middle of the night because there dog was sick and need help to get them in the car. I have an Italian greyhound that I have had since I was 12. By the way I a college student.

About: I have been the proud owner of my beloved dog for the past 11 years. After years of hoping for a dog, my parents finally agreed, and it's been an incredibly rewarding experience ever since. I thoroughly enjoy taking her on walks and engaging in playtime. Throughout high school, I began dog sitting, providing both daily and overnight care. I have experience working with dogs with anxiety, dietary restrictions, and specific behavioral concerns, such as fear of men. Additionally, I'm skilled in preparing homemade meals to cater to their individual needs. Pet care is a big part of my daily routine. I cook homemade meals for my dog both in the morning and evening, making sure she gets the nutrition she needs. I also take her on walks and play with her using her favorite toys, keeping her active and engaged. On top of caring for my own dog, l also dog-sit for other families, which adds to my weekly schedule. It's a fulfilling way to blend my love for animals with helping out others! When caring for pets in my clients' homes, I prioritize their pets' routines and comfort. I ensure that each pet's dietary needs are met, following any specific instructions for meals and feeding schedules. I provide plenty of playtime, exercise, and attention to help them feel secure and happy, whether it's through walks, interactive play, or simply spending time with them. I make sure to follow any behavioral cues, respecting their space and boundaries, especially for pets with anxiety or specific preferences. I also keep the environment clean, ensuring their living spaces remain tidy and safe. Regular updates and communication with the client are key, so they're always informed and reassured that their pets are well taken care of.

Jennifer D.
“Hi, I'm writing to you on behalf of Jennifer DeChristopher. She's my neighbor and is a kind, reliable and caring person. She had a pug named Bogart who was her best friend and baby. Your fur baby's will be well cared for and probably won't want to go home at the end of the day. (Just kidding.) But they will be just as happy to see her when you drop them off as they will be when you come to pick them up. I highly recommend Jennifer DeChristopher to care for your dog. Lynn W.”

Jess M.
“Before I would sit my dog with people through Rover, I would try my best to get my two year old Pitbull to stay with friends that he's familiar with - he becomes stressed out whenever I leave him alone. Jess has been a long time friend of mine through college and post-grad. She's incredibly caring and supportive, so I asked her first to take care of Barry the Pit, and within a few hours of me dropping him off, they became best buddies! Jess gave my dog the love and attention that he needs while I was away. She'd often send me photos of the two of them out on walks, off leash hikes (his recall is impeccable), and the nighttime cuddles. She'd update me on his eating and potty times, if there was any abnormality, and would ask what his favorite toys or treats are. Any time after his stay, Barry gets so excited to see his friend, again. Jess has been my go-to for dog sitters, knowing that my dog is in good care. I'm confident that Jess will give any other dog the same treatment that she gave my big, bratty Barry.”

Ana C.
“I know Ana as someone who is an animal lover and cares for her pets. I always see her coming in and out of her room when we hang because she takes her responsibility of taking the dog out, feeding, etc.”

Ava B.
“Ava went above and beyond our per care needs. She showered our babies with so much love while we were gone. Ava is definitely my go to pet sitter.”

Callan M.
“It is a pleasure to recommend Cal! His kind, calm, caring, gentle nature is a gift and the way he loves animals reflects every part of who he is. He is also honest, trustworthy and respectful. Two thumbs way up for Cal!”
