About: I’ve owned pets ever since I was able to and grew up with dogs and cats. I started walking neighbors dogs when I was 10, and have never stopped. Since having a family we raised 1 yellow lab - trained and and nurtured him in his elder years. We have since rescued a Shepard mix and a black lab. I help my friend care for area pets when she has overflow in her own pet care business. I’ve been an elementary teacher for 33 years- 20 years at a school for the deaf, so I do know sign language. I have summers off and am available during the school year as well. I would visit and play with your pet while you are away, as I know how I feel when we travel and need to leave our dogs behind.
About: I work as a behavioral therapist so I am very familiar with how to handle people and animals. If there’s one thing I’ve learned from work it’s patience, I take the time it takes. I work with my clients for a few hours a day and am not in any classes currently, so I have plenary of time to walk, sit, and care for pups and kittys. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
