About: I offer personalized pet care with a focus on training puppies and providing attentive care for senior dogs. With years of experience training my own dogs and caring for my parents' elderly dog, I understand the unique needs of every pet, ensuring they receive the love and attention they deserve at every stage of life. I have experience taking care of fish as well! So if you have any fish tanks I will be more than happy to take care of them. I have a lot of free time as I just graduated college and I am taking a gap year before working to save up money to travel! . I don't make many plans during the week so will have lots of time before. I generally stay at home so having a new step in my routine this summer would be amazing! I will do my best to stick to the routine when taking care of your pet in your own home. I find it important to have consistency when it comes to pet care.

About: I’ve been a dog mom for over 12 years, and I’ve cared for pups of all sizes and personalities. I even walked dogs professionally in New Jersey — and yes, they all stole my heart! I’ve also taken care of a dog with heart disease, so I know how important timely meds or supplements can be. I always give each pup gentle, loving attention, like they’re part of my own family. 💕 I’m always around to give them the care and attention they need. I’m happy to adjust my schedule to fit your dog’s needs! I provide a safe, clean, and loving environment for every pet in my care. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, allergies, special needs, and medication guidelines. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities at all times. 🐶

About: I’ve owned pets ever since I was able to and grew up with dogs and cats. I started walking neighbors dogs when I was 10, and have never stopped. Since having a family we raised 1 yellow lab - trained and and nurtured him in his elder years. We have since rescued a Shepard mix and a black lab. I help my friend care for area pets when she has overflow in her own pet care business. I’ve been an elementary teacher for 33 years- 20 years at a school for the deaf, so I do know sign language. I have summers off and am available during the school year as well. I would visit and play with your pet while you are away, as I know how I feel when we travel and need to leave our dogs behind.
“Lauren has been great with Jax. She keeps me updated during their walks with pictures and texts. Jax loves Lauren and gets so excited when she walks through the door. Lauren is a sweetheart and very appreciative of how caring and kind she is with my puppy.”

About: Whether you need a daily companion or a longterm caregiver, I am delighted to make the most of my time with your pet. I most commonly schedule extended stays with my current clientele, but daily visits/ stays are certainly services I provide. My pet sitting experience dates back to my college years, but I've acquired a more consistent clientele list over the past 5-6 years. I can accommodate specialty dietary needs and administer medications. It is important to prioritize enrichment, such as walks and playtime, to keep your pet happy. I have a vehicle equipped for safe travel, in the event that a vet appointment is scheduled. I currently do not bring pets into my home. I've found that most animals, especially anxious or high-need animals, tend to thrive best in their own homes. I can maintain their regular routines while surrounded by the sights, sounds, and smells they are familiar with. I do free consultations to meet all clients and pets in order to get acquainted with their personalities and routines.
About: We are a small family with extra space (yard space included!) and time living in a very safe neighborhood. I have a small son who Loves animals is outgoing and social, and needs a furry friend! My fiancé is home 24/7 to be with the dog. His mom comes down several days a week to watch our son, allowing more doggie time. To put it simply: we moved here less than a year ago, miss being around dogs, and want to share our resources in order to provide ourselves and our son with the love that only dogs can. It's essential for me to show him the loyalty, caring spirit and safety dogs provide. We're hoping to gain fur and people friendly relationships as new Delawareans! Thank you very much for your time.

Donna took care of my dog Luna while we were on vacation this summer. She did an amazing job!! Luna loved her, and enjoyed her walk with Donna twice a day! Donna was punctual, kind, and put in the extra effort to care for Luna while we were gone. Will definitely be reaching out again next year. Highly recommend!!

Natalia is a terrific dog walker, intuitive, patient and enthusiastic. My dog, Cessie, is full of energy and can get distracted by bunnies, squirrels, any little so fter training, she has some modifications. Natalia easily adapted to her routine and Cessie came home happy and despite a long walk, lively and refreshed. I would definitely recommend her as a great dog walker./-

I can’t express how thrilled I am with William’s dog walking services! From the moment we met, it was clear that he has a genuine love for animals. My dog immediately felt at ease with him, and it showed in her behavior after their walk. When she came back, she was not only happy but also ready to relax and enjoy her meal! William's attention to her needs and his gentle approach made all the difference. It's so comforting to know that my furry friend was in such caring hands. I wholeheartedly recommend William to anyone in need of a trustworthy and dedicated dog walker. He’s a true gem in pet care, and I’m so grateful for his wonderful service!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
