“Marilin is an amazing sitter! She went above and beyond. My dog is a little scared of new people and she took time to do an additional meet and greet, made my dog feel comfortable and was a great communicator.”

“Nicole was fantastic and gave our three kitties so much love and care while we were away!! The updates were great and we appreciated the pictures and notes throughout the week. Thank you so much Nicole!”

“Sarah is amazing in every way! I felt like my home and pets were completely safe and cared for by her every day. She was punctual and gave a detailed synopsis of her time with my pet daily and included pictures of everything I’d need to know and more. I would definitely recommend her services to anyone in need of a trustworthy and friendly pet sitter who will go above and beyond in caring for your fuzzy family members in your absence.”

“Hansa was so lovely and will definitely have her take care of my cat again! She was amenable when I had a sudden change in plans. My cat loved her. She brought toys for her and gave me really helpful advice as a relatively new cat parent!”

“This is my third time using Erinn and she’s fantastic - my cats absolutely love her and she takes excellent care of them every time. Highly recommend her reliable and loving pet care services!”

“I have too many adjectives to describe Colleen. She was extremely trustworthy, communicative, accommodating, caring, thoughtful, kind, responsible and prepared. I always stress when I go away and leave my girls but Colleen alleviated that feeling almost entirely. She even stayed longer than needed the first night. I am very happy with how my girls were treated and will definitely pick Colleen as my sitter next time.”

“Samantha is the best! She’s been very reliable and helpful, going above and beyond to communicate with me about Peppermint ears. (My dog has an ear infection that I had not noticed.)”

About: I have a lot of experience with dogs of all sizes and behaviors. In my teen years, my family would often take in dogs coworker’s and family friend’s dogs. That gave me plenty of experience with one on one care. At home I currently have a 8 year old Rottweiler named Coco. She can be a bit temperamental, so I am used to dogs with specific boundaries (i.e. no petting). I am a very loving and caring pet owner, who can’t wait to meet yours! I just graduated from Montclair State, so my schedule has freed up significantly! I’m available most days as long as I am booked relatively ahead of time. I very thoroughly take care of pets. All I want is for them to be happy, healthy, and safe. If there are any specific care requirements, please let me know.
“We just had a first visit with Ashley, and I couldn’t be happier! She was right on time, brought such calm and positive energy, and was incredibly patient with my two Boston Terriers (one of whom has major trust issues!). She took her time, gave them space, and by the end they were relaxed and happy! Highly recommend her if you’re looking for someone kind, reliable, and genuinely good with animals.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life. I had a golden retriever who sadly passed away 10 years ago and then helped raise and train a collie mix with my parents. After moving out I adopted a dog of my own who needed a lot of behavioral training and patience. I understand what it’s like to have a more difficult pet and am here to help. would love to help care for your dogs like my own. I am unable board your pets in my own home but can pet/house sit at your house or take them on walks regularly I work full time in healthcare Monday-Friday from 8-4 but am available for evening walks. I get major holidays off and am available most weekends to care for your pup as well. I cannot board your dog in my home due to behavioral issues with my own pup however I am able to stay over and care for your pup in the comfortable of their own home. I follow all instructions and guidelines provided to care for your pets appropriately and never allow dogs off leash or to interact with other dogs for safety unless otherwise specified
“Mark was just fantastic looking after my boys: communicative, conscientious, and just a true animal lover. He really took the time to get my cats to warm up to him, and just had such a mellow demeanor. Highly recommend him (and will use his services again if you don’t snag him first!).”

“Jenni was great with my cat Sebastian who does not show his face for anyone. He was friendly with Jenni so she was able to send me pictures daily. Her messages made me relax and enjoy my vacation even more knowing that Sebastian was well taken care of. I would absolutely use Jenni again.”

Very happy to have now dedicated my my professional life to be all about dogs. I will love your dog as if it's my own. My work life is all about pet sitting, and i am available to play with, feed, give meds, keep litter box clean and take great care of your cats. “Jennifer was amazing at taking care of our cats while we were away for a week. She made sure to take photos and sent them to me every time she visited. We felt comfortable being away knowing that all out fur babies were in good hands. We are especially grateful to her because she was able to accommodate us by taking care of our dog for the unexpected extra day we were away. Thank you so much, Jennifer. We look forward to working with you in the future!”
About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs since I was very young and have raised dogs & cats from kittens/pups to seniors. I love working with animals, and I’d love to work with yours! I work a part-time job as a tutor, so I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your pups and kitties! I’m typically available most of the week, and most if not all of the weekend as well. I make sure that each pet is cared for the way they need it, according to their pet owner’s specifications. Some pets require nearly nonstop attention or walking outside around the clock while others only need to taken outside every few hours between naps. I follow the animal’s lead— but I always make sure that safety and health comes first.

Towaco cat parents share their Rover experiences
Nicole was truly amazing. From the moment we met her, she made us feel completely at ease about leaving our senior fur baby in her care for a full week. She was so sweet, gentle, and patient, and you could tell right away how much she genuinely loves animals. Her updates kept us calm the entire time! We never once worried because we knew our baby was with someone who cared just as much as we do. She went above and beyond every single day, and we felt so safe and supported having her watch over our little one. We’re so grateful for her, and we would trust her again in a heartbeat. Highly, highly recommend Nicole if you want someone who treats your pet like family. 💕
