About: Hi! I’m a Physician Assistant Student with a flexible schedule. I’ve cared for pets belonging to family and friends for years and understand the importance of reliability for pet care. I pride myself of being reliable and communicative and I’ll make sure you receive updates so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands! Pet care fits well into my PA school schedule because of my structured clinical days with predictable gaps as well as occasional free mornings or evenings. I’m able to plan walks, drop ins and feeding visits around rotations and study time l and am flexible enough to adjust availability. At my own home I care for two cats by maintaining a clean, safe and calm environment with regular feeding schedules. In my clients home, I follow all instructions carefully and ensure the pets routine is followed as well as possible. I treat every pet and home with respect, responsibility and attentiveness as I would my own.
“June took great care of our cat, while we were away. She sent us pictures and videos with each visit to show how well she was doing. We will certainly use her services again in the future. She made it possible for us to enjoy our vacation knowing that she was taking such good care of our cat.”
“Gianna is simply the best. We book her weekly for drop-in visits and she’s done weeklong house-sitting. The dogs (2 of them) are well-taken care of - she gives them more attention than we do. Plus we have a cancer survivor dog that still takes oral chemo and we’re comfortable entrusting his care to her. . She always goes above and beyond. On the most recent visit she actually brushed them since they were shedding. We are so happy we can have her caring for our dogs.”
“Paula is great... my shy scaredy cat Leroy took to her quickly. I've used her services 3 times now and I will continue to in the future. She keeps the food and litter area very cl an and it's nice to come home & not fine cat litter tracked and a nice clean kitchen floor where the food bowls get placed.”

“Nicholas and Tamara were amazing. Our car actually had a health emergency during their first visit with our cat. They immediately let us know, reached out to us and our emergency contact, and we’re super communicative the entire time. Thanks to them our boy got the emergency care he needed, and we are so grateful he wad such caring people there to help him.”

“Alondra took wonderful care of my two dogs and bunny while we were away. She was always punctual with her check-ins, made sure the dogs got outside to use the bathroom each visit, and kept us updated along the way. It was clear that all of our pets loved her and were comfortable in her care. We had complete peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. I would absolutely book Alondra again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

“Erin had great communication throughout the whole process. Our meet & greet was seamless and the whole visit went great with our dog! Highly recommend. We will be booking Erin for future needs!”

“Words can’t describe how grateful that we’ve found Christina for our baby Twyla. It was our first full vacation leaving her, and we didn’t worry once because we knew she was in the best care. The first meet and greet we knew it was the perfect match. I wish I can leave a million stars. Thank you Christina from the bottom of our hearts. We are so appreciative and blessed to have found you. Twyla loves you and she says thank you for taking such good care of me. Hugs! Ashley, Bill, and Twyla”

About: I've been working with animals for many years. I've worked at doggy day cares, I was an animal control officer in Colorado, and now I'm currently working at an animal hospital as a veterinary assistant. I've been at my current hospital for almost 3 years, and I love working with animals, it's my passion. I am skillful in administering most medications, CPR, and nail trims if needed. Please note: I work at my animal hospital Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. I'm available for visits/house sitting before and after if needed. The only full day im unavailable is Wednesdays. Otherwise, I can do any drop in visits after 6pm from Thursdays-Saturdays, or anytime Sundays-Tuesdays. I can do overnight care all days of the week. I am always tentative to the animals. It's my priority and passion. I always know where the animals I'm caring for are at during the whole visit, and I'll make sure they get excited whenever they see me coming to take care of them.
About: I offer personalized pet care with a focus on training puppies and providing attentive care for senior dogs. With years of experience training my own dogs and caring for my parents' elderly dog, I understand the unique needs of every pet, ensuring they receive the love and attention they deserve at every stage of life. I have experience taking care of fish as well! So if you have any fish tanks I will be more than happy to take care of them. I have a lot of free time as I just graduated college and I am taking a gap year before working to save up money to travel! . I don't make many plans during the week so will have lots of time before. I generally stay at home so having a new step in my routine this summer would be amazing! I will do my best to stick to the routine when taking care of your pet in your own home. I find it important to have consistency when it comes to pet care.

About: I’ve been a dog owner for 50+ years. In my 20s I bread dogs and throughout my life I’ve owned dogs from cocker spaniels to chihuahuas to labs, I truly love them all. A side hobby of mine is making organic, raw dog food for my own dogs that I’ve been doing for the past 8 years. I’m a substitute teacher and love animals. Since the school year is coming to an end I would like to fill me days taking care of dogs and cats. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. When I visit your home, I’ll provide loving care, plenty of attention, and follow your pet’s routine so they feel comfortable and happy. Tamara and Nicholas were great with our cats, and we would highly recommend them! They took care of feedings and maintained the litter box while we were away, and they spent lots of time engaging with the cats and playing with their toys with them (even working to earn the trust of our shy kitty). They were also super helpful when things came up, like the auto feeder going offline and some electrical issues- we appreciated their willingness to drop in and help and all the photos/updates post-visit. Thank you for keeping our cats happy and healthy while we were traveling!

I cannot say enough good things about Julia. Our cat is a diabetic she was extremely intune to his behaviors and when he was acting very different she never hesitated to call us and take action. Her dedication to his well being saved his life as he was having a diabetic crisis. She took him to vet and followed up everyday with the direction from the doctor. Julia was amazing and cannot thank her enough for her care to our cat while we were away.

Jennifer was amazing! She watched our cat, Shrimp Toast, over the Thanksgiving holiday while we were out of town visiting family, and we felt SO at ease. She communicated great with us, provided us the cutest pictures of Shrimp Toast, was considerate, and most of all, our cat loved her! I look forward to having the peace of mind I did on this trip as I do my next :)

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in White Meadow Lake. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
