About: Hi! I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I currently have two Sphynx (hairless) cats and a Pomeranian, and I absolutely love spending time with animals. I’m looking to make some extra income so I can continue being a stay-at-home mom, and I’d love to help take care of your pets while you’re away. I’ll treat them like they’re my own and make sure they get lots of love and attention! I’m a stay-at-home mom, so I have a very flexible schedule and can easily fit pet care into my day. Whether it’s walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feedings, or just keeping your pet company, I’m happy to work around their routine and give them the attention they deserve. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’ll follow their usual routine, including feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions you leave. Whether I’m caring for them in my home or yours, I’ll treat them like they’re part of my own family and make sure they get plenty of attention and care.
“Kiara is wonderful! She is a kind, gentle soul and has the perfect temperament for caring for a slightly nervous cat. She was very sweet, offering to water plants and agreeing to bring in our packages. We booked her pretty last minute, and nevertheless, she was entirely dependable and made us feel completely at ease while we were away on vacation. We look forward to having Kiara care for our cat again. I highly recommend her!!”

“Jennifer was amazing! She watched our cat, Shrimp Toast, over the Thanksgiving holiday while we were out of town visiting family, and we felt SO at ease. She communicated great with us, provided us the cutest pictures of Shrimp Toast, was considerate, and most of all, our cat loved her! I look forward to having the peace of mind I did on this trip as I do my next :)”

“Alondra is a great care giver for my dog, Sasha. She always arrives on time and communicates very well, with updates and pictures. Sasha loves Alondra, who walks her, feeds her and loves on her. We are lucky to know that Alondra is caring for our dog when we are away.”

About: We are a loving and lively household where we will snuggle and play fetch with your pup, take them to the dog park, and keep them happy and occupied. My husband and I have a very active goldendoodle, Bell, who is 9 years old. Neither of us remember a time when there wasn't a dog in the house growing up! We know that we are taking on no small task when we agree to be responsible for your furry friend. We will follow your instructions to a T and we realize that every doggo is their own unique individual with their own unique needs. We are pros when it comes to high-energy dogs with a mind of their own! I am a full-time parent of three and we have a dog of our own whom we are home with all day. Staying active with our doodle is an integral part of our daily routine and we would love to have even more walks, games of fetch, and tricks + treats to look forward to! We LOVE to love on your pet! In our home you can expect a minimum of two 20-minute walks a day, plus more upon request and some leash time in our back yard if they like to hang out and observe the world. We are big proponents of fetch and chase.
“Tamara and Nicholas were great with our cats, and we would highly recommend them! They took care of feedings and maintained the litter box while we were away, and they spent lots of time engaging with the cats and playing with their toys with them (even working to earn the trust of our shy kitty). They were also super helpful when things came up, like the auto feeder going offline and some electrical issues- we appreciated their willingness to drop in and help and all the photos/updates post-visit. Thank you for keeping our cats happy and healthy while we were traveling!”

“Christina did a wonderful job taking care of our cat. She clearly communicated with us to set expectations beforehand, followed our instructions carefully, and kept us updated every day.”

“Erin had great communication throughout the whole process. Our meet & greet was seamless and the whole visit went great with our dog! Highly recommend. We will be booking Erin for future needs!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Picatinny Arsenal
I cannot say enough good things about Julia. Our cat is a diabetic she was extremely intune to his behaviors and when he was acting very different she never hesitated to call us and take action. Her dedication to his well being saved his life as he was having a diabetic crisis. She took him to vet and followed up everyday with the direction from the doctor. Julia was amazing and cannot thank her enough for her care to our cat while we were away.

Jennifer was amazing! She watched our cat, Shrimp Toast, over the Thanksgiving holiday while we were out of town visiting family, and we felt SO at ease. She communicated great with us, provided us the cutest pictures of Shrimp Toast, was considerate, and most of all, our cat loved her! I look forward to having the peace of mind I did on this trip as I do my next :)

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of September 2026, there are 4,250 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Picatinny Arsenal. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Picatinny Arsenal. On Rover:
- 89% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 92% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
