Our roommate also works at a vet hospital and is currently in school to get her vet tech degree. She works 5 minutes from the house and comes home on lunch breaks to let the dogs outside so they never go more than 4 hours at a time during the work week without a potty break. I am off on weekends so I’ll be home with them majority of the time on weekends as well. I have a fenced in yard, plus 3 dogs myself that love to meet new friends and play. I always make sure the dog has the same feeding routine they do when you are home. I try not to change up their normal routine so that the stay is as stress free as possible for your dog.

About: I have experience with puppies, senior pets, and those with special needs, including mild-moderate reactivity. I, myself have a 10-year-old pup that we adopted from a shelter in 2018. I've fostered dogs in the past for a senior rescue non-profit in Monterey, CA where I cared for and assisted in the adoption placement of 6 dogs over the course of 1 year. A typical general day would include a morning walk, afternoon park visit, hike, or other similar high energy play-time, and an evening walk. I also love to include mental stimulation throughout the day such as mini-training sessions. I will always do a consultation before care begins to ensure I have a thorough understanding of the daily needs for your pet to adjust the schedule as needed.

About: I have ample experience in animal care and sitting. I typically housesit for friends and family over extended vacations however I have decided to go out and try Rover. About: I’ve been petting sitting since I was fifteen. I have pet sat for family, friends, neighbors and family friends. I have been is charge of reptiles, fish chickens, guinea pigs, horses, hermit crabs, cats and dogs. I love all kinds animals and love adding to pet sitting photo box on my phone. I take pictures of all the pets that I watch. I was a kennel technician for a year and four months at a veterinarian office. I have watched multiple dogs at one time. The most I have watched is three. However when I was a kennel tech I was in charge of a lot. I have my own transportation and loving animals is one of my passions in life and always will be. I do have a full time job however, most of my clients have no problem with me staying at their house while pet sitting. However, it's all up to whatever you want to do. About: I kept friends dogs at my home for years while they traveled for work or play. I now have two cats I adore, but they don’t get along with dogs or I would still do it in my own home. I’ve supported and helped train several of my dogs and generally don’t have a problem holding the parents expectations for their fur kids, if that’s behaving on leash, rehearsing training, or making sure that they “do something” for treats, I’m happy to make sure they aren’t letting their manners slip around the new guy. I am a large man over 6ft and 230lb, and I have met a few pups who specifically didn’t seem comfortable around me, they were rescues and some warmed up with time. I would to meet your shy pet and see if they warm up, but I prefer being honest and if large men give your pet anxiety, I may not be the sitter for you. And that’s ok I’m a massage therapist, so while my schedule may change from day to day, I have time to swing by for walks, feedings, or even meds as long as you have specific instructions for the meds. I don’t take clients until 10, and i often have large breaks during the day to visit or check on the fur kids. I am not married nor do I have kids so i can be flexible with my time. I follow the clients instructions to the letter, and leave the space as I found it with happy sleepy pets. I’ve cared for kennels and champion hunting dogs, feral cats and the dogs they scared. I prioritize keeping them on their own schedule and stress free. I will let you know if and where I would need to deviate from their normal schedule if necessary. I am a student at UTC and have classes during the week 9-5ish but free in evenings and on weekends. I prefer to care for pets in the clients home because I go to school away from where I live so I am mostly in Nashville.

About: I have many year of pet caring under my belt! I have two dogs of my own, one of which with special needs. I have been left in charge of my pets before and have shown that I am trusted to handle everything. My schedule is somewhat flexible but on my work days they run pretty long. Dog walking in the morning or early afternoon is something that would work with my schedule. Any house sitting needs work during the week, and can be a little different on the weekend but it can still work! I will respect every home that I am invited to for dog sitting needs. I will be cautious of entering the home making sure all animals are secure and we have no escapees! I only offer out of home sitting, meaning no animal will be taken out of their own house for sitting.
