About: I took a very active role in caring for my family dog until he tragically passed from cancer in 2019. I have also dog-sat for neighbors’ pets with particular dietary needs. Currently, I’ve been told by roommates that I have a very calming presence with our house dog. I work part time primarily in the evenings and when not working, I often have community theater rehearsals on weeknights. During the Mizzou school year I will have some classes during the day, though for no more than a few hours at a time. My current house is not available for pet boarding unless specifically negotiated. The property has a non-fenced yard and one resident dog, who does behave well with other animals. Neighborhood is safe, well-paved, and walkable.
“Lucas was such a wonderful find for our sweet pair of cats! My husband and I are helicopter parents about our babies who have very specific and different needs including our boy cat who needs to be medicated and is a very picky eater. Lucas sent us very frequent updates on the state of our cat's appetite and how things were going. In the past, we have come home to find our cat has either lost weight or has liquid medication smeared on his fur from medication difficulties. When we came home our boy cat looked the best he's ever looked after such a long stay with a house sitter. We can tell our cats felt very at home and comfortable with Lucas. The house looks great, very clean and exactly how we left it. All and all, among the best rover experiences we've had! About: I have worked in professional pet care for 4 years and have been watching neighbors dogs for the past 2 years. At doggy daycare I have worked with all sizes and ages of dogs and am comfortable with all of them. I am currently and student at The University of Missouri but am still able to come to your house to watch your pet. I can stay at your house during the week or weekend, my classes are during the middle of the day so they can go out plenty of times in the morning and night. I have three dogs at home that I am very used to taking care of as well as my cat. I can follow your pets schedule so there is no difference in your care and mine.

About: I have had dogs almost my whole life since I was 1 years old. They are all my favorites! I have taken care of puppies through elderly. I have had dogs with seizures and one who only walked in left circles after a stroke. I have had dogs who lost their ability to control their bladder and dogs who needed help getting off the bed. I love them all and my life is better because they were in it! I work till 3:30-4 pm Monday through Friday in education. I am free many weekends a month. I am happy to do a drop in or two in the evenings and more with longer stays on weekends. I am not always available for last moment notice on weekends but will do my best to be available with a couple days notice. In your home I will follow what ever procedure you instruct. It is your home and your animal. Trust and consent is the most important part of the relationship. I am good at meeting expectations and will always strive to exceed them for your animal. You are the best they could hope for, I want you to feel confident they are just as cared for when they are with me.
About: I've been around dogs of all sizes and socialization preferences! I myself have a 60 lbs, 8 year old Blue Heeler mix named Lambeau, a 50 lbs, 4 year old, Labrador mix named Cleo, a 1 year old Calico cat named Roxy & a 1 year old Tortoise Shell Tabby cat named Indie. About: I have about 3+ years experience with watching / taking care of dogs. I’ve had my fair share of experiences knowing what they can and can’t eat and what questions to ask regarding a dogs diet. I have experience staying over night with dogs (at my place or theirs), going over to their place and taking care of them for a few hours, and of course walking dogs. About: I am currently a veterinary assistant and see dogs and cats every day! I have grown up with animals my entire life as well of all ages. I help my friends out with their pets as well while they’re away! 4. I have my own dog that I take care of daily and my best friend also has a dog that I’m around constantly. I’m available almost every night and can send updates any time about how they’re doing! I always make sure to let my dog out every 4-6 hours and we go on walks for about 30-45 minutes each time. I also make sure to give her plenty of attention and check that she has clean water. I’ll open curtains for her to look out while I’m gone at work and let her sunbathe.

About: My family has had at least one cat my entire life, even as many as 7 at one time when my mom rescued a kitten litter from a busy street. At a young age I learned to both love animals and to treat them with care. In my dad’s home we had a great big dog raised from a puppy, and as a college student I especially miss being able to take a dog on a nice summer walk. I’m currently working part-time in the evenings most days of the week. My schedule varies from week to week but I am reliably available before 3pm daily. I make time to give my cats enrichment daily and play with them in a run to get those zoomies out. My cats are slightly fat from how I like to treat them, but I do not share human food.
