About: I have worked as a Kennel Attendant at a dog boarding and grooming place. I have also taken care of my personal dog for 12 years and have had her since I was a little girl. I am currently working part time-4 days a week- but I still have open hours and can be flexible. I unfortunately cannot do overnights but I can do drop ins and walks. I can crate your dog if needed, and I have 3 very comfortable and gentle dogs at home. They are good with other nonaggressive dogs.

About: I am a registered veterinary technician that is very passionate taking care of animals. I have 20 yrs of experience working in emergency and critical care, caring for dogs and cats that are very sick and need to be cared for. I am very comfortable caring for healthy dogs/cats or pets that need medications or special care. I work full time, but want to work around my schedule to make Rover work! I would not be able to bring your pet to my house due to I have a German shepherd that takes a while to warm up to. I can walk pets, do check ins, but will not be able to stay the night due to having a family. I am able to walk your pet wherever you prefer, let your dog outside and feed your pet, spend playtime with your pet. I am able and willing to medicate your pet as well or anything the pet requires, even if has special care requests.
“Lucas was such a wonderful find for our sweet pair of cats! My husband and I are helicopter parents about our babies who have very specific and different needs including our boy cat who needs to be medicated and is a very picky eater. Lucas sent us very frequent updates on the state of our cat's appetite and how things were going. In the past, we have come home to find our cat has either lost weight or has liquid medication smeared on his fur from medication difficulties. When we came home our boy cat looked the best he's ever looked after such a long stay with a house sitter. We can tell our cats felt very at home and comfortable with Lucas. The house looks great, very clean and exactly how we left it. All and all, among the best rover experiences we've had! Great communication, healthy happy pets, a clean home, what more could we ask for?”
About: I took a very active role in caring for my family dog until he tragically passed from cancer in 2019. I have also dog-sat for neighbors’ pets with particular dietary needs. Currently, I’ve been told by roommates that I have a very calming presence with our house dog. I work part time primarily in the evenings and when not working, I often have community theater rehearsals on weeknights. During the Mizzou school year I will have some classes during the day, though for no more than a few hours at a time. My current house is not available for pet boarding unless specifically negotiated. The property has a non-fenced yard and one resident dog, who does behave well with other animals. Neighborhood is safe, well-paved, and walkable.

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 8 years old. Ive spent my childhood and adulthood having them around to a point were life is not the same if they are not around. I am a responsible pet owner who puts the care of these innocent souls a priority 100% of the time. A dog doesnt have to wiggle its tail to fit into my space or schedule. Its more of a blend. Thats how love flows. I work remotely 2 days a week and 2 days at the office but my schedule is flexible. I treat any dog as if it my own. I see no differences. About: I have been around pets since I was a kid. I did take care of elder dogs in the past time. I did dog-sitting the puppies. I had experience with foster dogs and my housemate in the past. I have experience with deaf dogs myself. My family and I raised a deaf dog; she is now at peace. I am currently working from home. My schedule has some flexibility that I can take care of other things such as taking care of pets. I always make sure the pets feel safe and secure in their space. About: My family has had at least one cat my entire life, even as many as 7 at one time when my mom rescued a kitten litter from a busy street. At a young age I learned to both love animals and to treat them with care. In my dad’s home we had a great big dog raised from a puppy, and as a college student I especially miss being able to take a dog on a nice summer walk. I’m currently working part-time in the evenings most days of the week. My schedule varies from week to week but I am reliably available before 3pm daily. I make time to give my cats enrichment daily and play with them in a run to get those zoomies out. My cats are slightly fat from how I like to treat them, but I do not share human food. I would do the same for any pet sitting situation in addition to following the dietary guidelines if your pet needs to eat less treats. Additionally, I would be taking my own tax of pets and ear scratches if the client is willing.
About: I love animals. I have been watching both cats and dogs for years. Anything from Long walks, simple feeds or just quality time that they love. I been animal sitting for years and have worked it as a side job off and on. Open schedule being at home almost everyday. I can take care of the fur babies anytime. who wouldn’t wanna spend time with the cute animals. Clients home I try to respect what the animal is used to. If a client tells me they can’t go upstairs, no upstairs. I’m not one to disrespect or mess up peoples homes. I try to just spend the whole time with the animals. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
