The dogs were so much happier in their home than they would have been in a kennel. My dogs have very different needs and personalities. One is a 13 year old male who is deaf, very attached to his people, and has been aging quickly the last few months. The other is a female that isn't quite 2. She has all the energy of a puppy, requires patience and guidance, and has never been boarded before. Both dogs were well loved and cared for even with their idiosyncrasies. They seemed to have a great time. Victoria sent daily updates and my daughter (who is very attached to her puppies) loved seeing her "babies" while we were away. Additionally, she paid close attention to my elderly dogs health, which really set my mind at ease. If we ever need boarding services again, I will definitely be contacting Victoria.”

Lucas sent us very frequent updates on the state of our cat's appetite and how things were going. In the past, we have come home to find our cat has either lost weight or has liquid medication smeared on his fur from medication difficulties. We have a fully fenced backyard (please make sure your pets are on flea and tick medicine as ticks have been bad this year), loads of indestructible toys (thanks, BarkBox!), and an open-door policy between inside and out, so your pup can roam, play, and lounge whenever they please. I work from home full-time, which means your dog is never left alone — I'm always here. Dogs are welcome on the furniture, in the bed, wherever they're happiest. This is their vacation too. Whether your dog needs a playmate, a cozy couch to nap on, or both, they'll feel right at home. Pet care is genuinely woven into my day, not something I have to carve out time for. Since I work from home full-time, I'm always present — whether that's taking a mid-morning break to play in the backyard, keeping an eye on the pack while I'm at my desk, or just being available if anyone needs a cuddle or a quick romp outside. Kallie took her time to sniff everything in the house and yard but Catlyn’s easy attitude let Kallie feel comfortable exploring. About: I am a huge animal lover. We have 3 cats and a shepherd mix dog. I also have a 4 and a 6 year old, so any animals must be good with other animals, kids and able to be crated at night as our dog is also crated. I love and have taken care of many animals and enjoy all fur babies! I am a graduate student so I am home most of the day besides an hour or so for class so fur babies are well cared for and get plenty of attention. My husband also WFH so someone is typically always home. Our yard is unfenced so dogs will have to be leashed for potty time. My dog is crated at night and when we’re not home. Our cats free roam the house, so we just ask that your pet is friendly with cats.

About: Moe’s Place is a small in home dog boarding facility. I provide one on one care as well as exit baths. Moe’s Place has commercial kennels indoors and outdoors so they can stay outside when the days are nice. There is a large fenced in play area, but only dogs who come together play together. I make sure every dog is given some additional time to be treated like family. We turn our pups out in the morning before feeding, around noon and early afternoon. We also ensure your pup has time to go out before bed. We live here so it makes it very convenient to ensure your family member is getting the best care. We have lots of open time and play time. If your pup decides they would rather play indoors, we have an indoor play area also.

Currently, I’ve been told by roommates that I have a very calming presence with our house dog. I work part time primarily in the evenings and when not working, I often have community theater rehearsals on weeknights. During the Mizzou school year I will have some classes during the day, though for no more than a few hours at a time. My current house is not available for pet boarding unless specifically negotiated. The property has a non-fenced yard and one resident dog, who does behave well with other animals. Neighborhood is safe, well-paved, and walkable.

About: I have been dog sitting since I was 13! My experience includes senior dogs, medical-needs dogs, puppies, and everything in between. Both, growing up with dogs and pet sitting, has given me years to understand mannerisms, how to train animals, and most importantly, how to make sure they feel loved. I work fully remote therefore I have the ability to work anywhere & schedule check-ins and walks around my work schedule. Currently I am taking my dog on a walk in the morning and after dinner.
