About: I’ve had the privilege of making animal care my life for the past 30+ years. I’ve worked at 2 zoos, a wildlife preserve and now I pet sit full time. I love meeting new pets and their parents. My main priority is ensuring your animal is comfortable and safe while you’re away. I strive to give peace of mind to any worried pet parents. 😊 My favorite activities with your Furkid include enrichment with toys, fetching, dispensing treats and rubbing backs and bellies. I can medicate, give insulin and prepare special diets. I’m also trained in animal first aid and I excel at following directions. Animal care is all I do. I can do daily walks/visits up to 3 times a day. I’m also available for house sitting and overnights. I have a number of clients in the Baton Rouge area with different pet care needs and I make my own schedule. I stick to their usual daily routine or follow whatever instructions are left. I like to keep a consistent visit/feeding/potty time. I have a lot of patience and will encourage your pet to socialize with me. We can do whatever they like, play with toys, take walks, eat treats, rub backs or just sit together. I also water plants, check mail/paper and keep a general an eye on things.

About: I have cared for dogs of all sizes and breeds since I can remember. I grew up with at least 3-4 dogs in my household at all times, volunteered at the local animal shelter to help take care of the overflow of dogs, fostered a litter of puppies, and of course the occasional dog sitting for a neighbor or family friend. I am currently working 2 part time jobs at the moment, but they usually include short days and hours. I am mostly available from mid afternoon to nighttime on any given day, especially weekends! Schedule is subject to change weekly. I have a big kennel in my home if it’s ever needed. I also have plenty of toys, treats, and other equipment like poop bags, leashes, or harnesses.

About: Hi! My name is Shayna Malonson, and I’ve always had a deep love for animals—especially dogs. I grew up with dogs my entire life, and now as an adult with my own home, I’m lucky to have two of my own: Ally (4 years old) and King (2 years old). They are a huge part of my daily life and have taught me so much about responsible, loving care. I personally bathe my dogs, brush their teeth, and handle their basic grooming after learning how to properly care for them myself. Through experience—especially managing my older dog’s dry skin—I’ve learned a lot about different dog food brands, skin-care products, and overall dog wellness. This has helped me become very attentive to each dog’s individual needs. In my free time, I enjoy playing fetch, going on simple walks, and giving my dogs plenty of love and attention. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I would love the opportunity to care for your dogs as if they were my own—making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I’m home often and able to give dogs consistent attention throughout the day. In my home, dogs are treated like family and are always supervised. I make sure the space is clean, pet-safe, and free from hazards, with plenty of room for rest, play, and comfort. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any special instructions provided by the owner. I’m experienced with basic grooming care such as bathing and brushing, and I pay close attention to skin sensitivity, diet needs, and overall well-being. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain the pet’s normal routine to reduce stress. I ensure doors, gates, and leashes are always secure, and I never leave pets unattended outside. Trust and communication are very important to me. About: My husband and I have always had pets growing up. We knew we wanted this for our children as well. Our daughter and son love pets and would want a farm if we allowed it! I am available mornings, afternoons and evenings. Before I leave for work all pets are fed and taken outside. Upon returning home I let the pets out again for a bit longer to play in our fenced in yard. Mornings begin with food and water and a morning treat. Bella lets us know when she needs to go out by going to the patio door. During the day she is very chill and usually lays on the sofa waiting on the kids to return from school. When everyone is home from work and school Bella is fed again and everyone gets some snuggles in with her.

About: Pets are more than just animals. They are part of our families and deserv to be spoiled and loved since they are only with us for a short time. I do transports for rescues as often as possible to help as many as possible to find loving homes. I currently have two dogs and between jobs so my availabilty is pretty open. I can't do overnight/house sit because of my two boys, but can check in and visit anytime. I'm available for walks and house visits, but can't do overnights. I can check or visit at any time though. I treat all animals as good, if not better than my own. I appreciate their various personalites and quirks. One of mine is reactive towards mainly men and other dogs, so I understand some need special attention that others may not. They are all unique individuals.

About: As a pet owner myself, I have experience with how to keep feeding routines, administer meds, walks, playtime, potty breaks, grooming and recognizing when something isn’t quite right. I’ll also provide regular updates and photos, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. I’m currently working remotely and part time. This leaves me plenty of time to care for pets on weekdays and weekends, throughout the day. Early mornings and late evenings are no problem. We have a private fenced in yard for those that need ample activity. Pets are cared for in the home but also have their own room for when they need a quiet corner.

About: I’ve owned all types animals ranging from dogs and cats to birds and reptiles. They have all lived long and spoiled lives. I love animals and treat them very well regardless of whether they belong to me or not. I’m a friendly and cheerful personality. I’m very patient with even the most stubborn of fur babies. I set walk or restroom schedules based on the needs of the pets and adhere to all rules given by the owners. I’m a very detailed-oriented person. I’ve been dog sitting and dog walking for friends and ex-coworkers for the last three years. I really enjoy spending time with animals and helping people out. It can be stressful trying to work or go on vacation and constantly worrying about your four-legged family members. You can rest assured that your pet(s) will be in good hands. I work full-time Mon-Fri from 8 am until 4 pm. I’m available for lunchtime potty and play breaks if needed. My nights and weekends are free to give your fur family the attention and care they deserve. I do not offer boarding services as I have a kitten that prefers to be the only four legged creature inside of the house at all times. Just let me know what activities your pets enjoy and I will make sure to keep them engaged during the stay.
