I’m home throughout the day and can provide attentive, reliable care for your dog. I will walk, feed, and care for your pet according to your instructions in a safe, pet-friendly environment. I also have a dog house available if needed, and indoor dogs are welcome as well. I currently accept small and medium-sized dogs only. “I have fur babies that can play with your dogs! If your dog is not neutered, please let me know. Female dogs will go out separately from males for potty breaks, playtime, and feeding times. I will feed them as requested, provide water breaks, and make sure they are in a safe, caring environment.”

About: Hi! My name is Shayna Malonson, and I’ve always had a deep love for animals—especially dogs. I grew up with dogs my entire life, and now as an adult with my own home, I’m lucky to have two of my own: Ally (4 years old) and King (2 years old). They are a huge part of my daily life and have taught me so much about responsible, loving care. I personally bathe my dogs, brush their teeth, and handle their basic grooming after learning how to properly care for them myself. Through experience—especially managing my older dog’s dry skin—I’ve learned a lot about different dog food brands, skin-care products, and overall dog wellness. This has helped me become very attentive to each dog’s individual needs. In my free time, I enjoy playing fetch, going on simple walks, and giving my dogs plenty of love and attention. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I would love the opportunity to care for your dogs as if they were my own—making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. “My experience with Robin was exceptional. I have used another sitter through Rover before and the experience was okay, but I noticed my puppy would come home very riled up and needing to immediately decompress. It often felt like I had to calm him down and get him back to his normal baseline. With Robin, the experience was completely different. When I picked him up, he was calm, relaxed, and acting exactly like he does at home. Even during the ride back, he settled into his crate and rested. That told me he was comfortable and well cared for during his stay. I was also a little nervous about having him around other dogs since he hasn’t spent a lot of time with other puppies. Robin was incredibly patient and reassuring. She allowed me to observe and helped me feel confident that he would be just fine, and he truly was. Another thing that stood out was how much my puppy liked her right away. As soon as he got out of the car, he was excited and curious about going inside, which meant a lot to me. I’m so glad I found Robin and truly look forward to working with her again. It’s clear my puppy felt safe and comfortable in her care.”

“This was our pups’ first time away from us and Jennifer was so great with them! We have a longer boarding stay coming up and wanted to see how they would do beforehand. She was so patient with my anxious boy and helped them both settle in in their own time. They were running around and playing by the end of the stay! She was also really communicative and kept us updated often with lots of photos. I’m incredibly picky about who watches my dogs, but after today, I have no reservations about leaving them in Jennifer’s care. They’ll be seeing her again soon!”

About: I love dogs, and have been around them since I was a baby. I’ve taken care of puppies, old dogs, big dogs, and all other kinds. Corgis are the greatest dog in the world, prove me wrong with yours. Currently in school at LSU graduating in December, and I am free to tend to your dog any time of day for you. I only have 1 class to schedule around so no issues there! Have a nice big yard completely fenced in, in a nice quiet neighborhood in the middle of BR. Welcome to kennel or let your dog roam free as needed.

About: I’ve been fostering and volunteering with dogs for years, so I’m comfortable with all kinds. I really enjoy training too, whether it’s playing ball, doing some basic obedience work, or just sitting and creating a relaxed state of mind. I’m good at reading cues and making sure the dogs feel safe while they’re with me. Options include field play time, scent games, recall work, and a slat-mill for burning energy inside during the hottest months. I am certified by Animal Behavior College and have been training at Larry Benoit's facility for about 6 months. I care for all of the dogs just like my own! I have many dogs here and allow friends to play. I can also crate and rotate if you're not sure your dog will get along with others. When we train, we focus one on one!

About: I have over 15 years of experience caring for dogs, including dog sitting for friends and neighbors and owning my own dog for the past six years. As a dog owner, I understand how stressful it can be when your dog is out of sight, so I closely supervise dogs at all times and do not allow off-leash activity or interactions with unfamiliar dogs. Safety and attentive care are always my top priorities. I work remotely during the day and attend school in the evenings, so I am only away from home for a short period, about three hours. This allows me to provide consistent supervision, timely walks, and attentive care throughout the day. I have a fenced yard and one dog in my home. Dogs are always closely supervised, kept on leash outside the yard, and never allowed to interact with unfamiliar dogs. Safety, structure, and consistency are my top priorities.

About: I have always had animals in my life. I know each one is different and special. I grew up on a farm so I know having a loving and compassionate person to care for your babies is a necessity when you have animals. I am a stay at home mom so while the kids are at school I have plenty of time to come by and play with your babies. I have a fenced in courtyard area in my home. We also have two dogs that love other dogs. One is a rescue Maltese and is 12 years old. The other is a 2 year old poodle, he is my husband's service dog so usually he is at work with my husband all day.
