About: NJ Residents. I've been around dogs my entire life, including Labradors, Beagles, and Labrador mixes. Right now, I share my home with a 97-pound Labrador retriever named Hunter, an orange tabby cat named Flash and a black tabby named Bear. I’m committed to following all of your instructions closely and will ensure a safe, loving, and dependable environment for them. You can count on me to be reliable and attentive to their needs.

About: Hi! I'm Melissa! A little bit about me. Growing up, our family always had dogs and cats. Since the moment I was born, I was raised alongside dogs and cats and at one point in my childhood we had three large breed dogs and 2 cats at once, so fun and crazy! This always nurtured my deep appreciation for animals from an early age. One of our family dogs even had three litters of puppies during my teenage years, giving me hands on experience caring for dogs and puppies of all ages and sizes. Today, I have my own dog in my own family home, a 76 pound English Coonhound rescue from Arkansas. Despite his high energy levels, strength and tendency to pull on the leash, I handle him confidently and independently. I adopted him through Philly Rescue Angels Inc., where I am also an approved foster. Family and friends have relied on me for years from a young age to let out, walk, feed, and play with their dogs whether it be when they need help on short notice or go on an extended vacation. In addition to my experience with dogs, I’ve had cats throughout my life and have fostered them as well. One of my cats even needed daily insulin injections for diabetes and I always handled that myself. My background has given me a well rounded understanding of animal care, and I take pride in my ability to provide attentive, compassionate, and responsible care for all of your pets! Since I am a nurse, I also understand most medical conditions and medication administration and precautions for pets as well, they're more similar to us than we realize! I am a registered nurse whom only works 3 days per week. I am quite flexible in my schedule and can move around my days easily if requested! I have a fenced in yard. I have a friendly dog to play with your pup! And an extra large crate if you need your pet crated at all. Pets are allowed on furniture in my house as well!

About: Local to Riverton, I love to take my own pup on walks through the neighborhood. If you’re looking for a reliable dog walker, let’s chat! I currently work from home and make my own schedule. My availability and flexibility will help make it easy to align with your pet’s needs. I have a fenced in yard, a large dog crate, and a pet friendly home. I also love to offer toys and treats if permitted.

About: I have been an owner and lover of dogs and cats my whole life! I currently have two cats and one dog of my own, and I often look after my parents’ two dogs as well. I look forward to meeting and caring for plenty of other lovable pets! I currently work full-time during the day, but am free most nights of the week! It will be no inconvenience to request pet services from me at a short notice. I am very comfortable going into customer’s homes to look after their pets! I can feed them, play with them, take them for walks, and pick up after them.

“Megan did a great job with taking care of my dog and two cats while I was away for 6 days. I will use her again. She is very pleasant to work with.”

About: I’ve had pets my whole life, including both cats and dogs of various sizes. I have also taken care of many pets of my friends and family members throughout the years. I am familiar with caring for pets of all ages and ones with special needs. Pets are part of the family to me and I will treat yours as such! I work full time as a local elementary school teacher. This allows for a lot of flexibility during holiday breaks and the summer months. During the school year, I have less availability outside of weekends but I’m open to helping when I can. My pets are a part of my family. Just like in my day job, I take the care of someone else’s family member very seriously. I feel a great responsility whether that family member has two legs or four 🐕🦺🐈

About: Hi! Little bit about me :) I had a chihuahua for about 15 years so I understand what it takes to care for dogs at all stages in life. After my dog passed, I adopted a 8 month old puppy back in Nov 2022. Being a doggy mom is amazing and I love having a furry companion! I love going out on walks around the neighborhood and letting my dog meet new and old friends. I work from home Monday through Wednesdays but have a very flexible work schedule so i can scheudle a Rover job anytime during those days. Weekends I have availability as well. At home, i am typically always within view of my dog so she is never really alone. I use a camera in the living room to keep an eye out if I have to leave home or be in the basement etc. If it's a puppy or senior dog I am more likely to be attentive and be more by their side. For an adult dog, I'll give them their space and keep a consistent schedule to take on walks. I like to feed my dog healthy veggie treats throughout day and do some reinforcement training or give interactive toys to mentally exercise her.

“Sam was amazing! She followed all the directions and took great care of our feisty kitty. She can be a handful but Sam was able to do it wonderfully. We are so grateful! Thank you Sam!!!!”

About: I am one of those people who hangs out with the dog or cat at a house party, rather than the people. I grew up with dogs, including one who was epileptic and needed daily medication. We also had a parakeet and several hamsters. As an adult I’ve kept lizards, frogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, and even co-habituated with a parrot for a few years. Nine years ago we adopted a rescue dog, who really made our family complete. Nearly all of our cats have lived into their golden years, so I have experience with daily insulin shots for a diabetic cat, and multiple medications and subcutaneous fluid injections for other cats. I will give the same level of attention and affection to your pets that I ask for of my own pet sitter. I’ve been caring for my own pets and the pets of friends and neighbors my entire life. I’ve helped rescue lost & abandoned animals. I’ve cared for and befriended all sorts of dogs - small, large, anxious, friendly, reactive. I prefer walking dogs on a harness as it allows me control without risk of injury to the dog. I’d love to meet you and your pets and see how I could be of service. I work from home with flex hours so am available as needed during the work day, after 9am. Weekends are very flexible. I can also do evening hours (until 7pm). I prefer to meet the animals with their human first, so we can get to know each other and I can understand the pets’ setup.

Matthew & Leanna Z.
“I`ve known Matt for around 20 years now and during that time he`s always had dogs of his own. Two at the same time that he grew up with as a child, until they unfortunately crossed the Rainbow Bridge. The love he has always shown them was heart-warming. They always came first no matter what. He is a natural dog person as he would always love playing and entertaining my own family dog when visiting. I would have 100% confidence in letting him take care of my own precious pup. Matt will take care of your pup like they are one of his own.”

Kelly G.
“I can’t recommend Kelly G highly enough! They took exceptional care of my cats while I was away, and I came home to three very happy and relaxed furballs. Kelly clearly has a natural way with animals—my usually shy cat warmed up to her almost immediately, which says everything. Kelly kept me updated with messages and photos! I’ll absolutely be asking Kelly to cat-sit again in the future!”

Nanegea M.
“Before we even began regular walks, Nanegea scheduled a meet-and-greet to get to know Bentley and understand his specific needs, temperament, and routine. They asked thoughtful questions about feeding schedules, medical conditions, triggers (like squirrels or loud noises), and even his favorite type of toy. They also made sure I was comfortable with their protocols in emergencies. Communication has been stellar ever since—daily text updates, photos, GPS-tracked walks, and even the occasional funny story from the day.”

Randi H.
“Randi has always been my go when I need someone to watch my shitzu tootsie. She is reliable and tootsie loves her (and tootsie doesn’t like just anybody). She is a good sitter if your going on vacay or just need someone to walk the dog during the day. I highly recommend ms. Hertz”

Melissa P.
“Melissa was amazing! She watched my toy aussie doodle, Ash, while my family and I were away on vacation for a long weekend. She took our high energy Ash on long walks and made sure to play with her to keep her spirits up since she gets severe separation anxiety. Ash absolutely adored Melissa and so did we! Choosing who to watch our dog in the future will be such an easy decision; we finally found someone responsible and kindhearted we feel comfortable and confident leaving our dog with. Thank you again, Melissa!”
