About: As the proud owner of a sweet, Chocolate Lab named Charlie Brown, I know firsthand that our animals aren’t “just pets”—they’re family! I offer professional, reliable drop-in visits and walks tailored specifically to your dog's unique energy levels and safety requirements. I’ll make sure your pets get plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, potty breaks, cuddles or whatever your pet loves most to make their day extra special. I’m happy to follow their usual routine and take the time to make them feel comfortable, happy, and cared for. I’ve always loved dogs and truly enjoy being around them. In fact, even when I’m on vacation, I find myself looking for ways to spend time with dogs! On my last vacation, I visited a local shelter and ended up taking one of the dogs out for the day—just because I wanted to give them some extra love, attention, and a fun break from the kennel and it was so rewarding. I genuinely love dogs! I’m also a cat lover and happy to care for your cats, too! I’ll make sure they have fresh food and water, a clean litter box, attention, and of course plenty of love while you’re away. I’ve spent the past 20 years caring for pets as an adult and have had cats and dogs throughout my entire life. I’d love to give your pets that same love and attention I give mine, while they’re in my care. I work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to accommodate both recurring and occasional walks or drop-in visits. I’m happy to work around your schedule and your pet’s routine whenever possible. **If you do not see open availability on a particular date for which you would like to request my services, please message me and I will let you know if I am available to accommodate your pet's needs** I want your pet to feel comfortable, loved, and cared for while you’re away. During drop-in visits, I’ll give them plenty of attention, playtime, potty breaks, fresh water, and companionship. For walks, I’ll make sure they get safe, enjoyable exercise at their own pace. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine and any special instructions you leave, and I’ll always treat your home and your pet with the same care and respect I would want for my own. //What a Premium Visit with Me Includes: * Safety-First Leash Manners: Attentive handling to ensure no slipping collars, harnesses or reactive encounters on walks. * Real-Time Digital Tracking: You will receive detailed Rover Cards with GPS walk routes, exact potty logs, and multiple high-quality photos during every visit. * Home Security Assurance: Diligent care taken with your home's locking mechanisms, alarm systems, and respect of your home. * Custom Routines: Strict adherence to your pet's precise feeding, requests & timelines.
“This was our first time booking with Nicole. She was available on short notice, not only to watch our cat, but also to come by for a meet and greet before the booking. We greatly appreciated her availability on short notice. She was very friendly and took great care of our cat. We plan to reach out to her in the future when needed!”

About: With over 20 years of experience, caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I’ve been around dogs since I was 7 years old, starting with family pets and eventually helping neighbors with their dogs throughout middle school and into adulthood. Even today, I still help friends and neighbors care for their dogs and cats regularly. I also had the opportunity to care for my own cat for 4 years, which gave me a strong understanding of feline personalities, routines, and comfort needs as well. After taking some time away in 2025 due to family circumstances, I’m excited to be back in 2026 doing something I genuinely enjoy, providing pets with a safe, loving, and fun environment where they feel at home. I currently work Full-Time from home - So I am always present, and able to keep your pet on a nice schedule regarding food, play-time, and potty breaks. I'm available Monday-Sunday anytime that works best for you My home features a downstairs area where pets can roam freely. Also my development offers plenty of walking space. Plus, there are many parks nearby that provide a great spot for your pets to enjoy some running time with my family and me.
“Gabrielle always takes such great care of our cat when we are away. He likes to get his wet food at the same time and she is great about accommodating this. Very responsive and always a delight to communicate with. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve had a family dog since I was 7 years old and now I have my own! I have always had such a strong love for animals and I love sharing it with animals other than my own. I used to take care of dogs on rover a few years ago and now I’m back!! I’ve taken care of my friends or neighbors pets when they're away and I absolutely love it! I’ve taken care of dogs that were a few weeks old up to dogs that are into their teens! I can walk, bathe, play with them whatever you and your pet needs! I make sure they get their exercise in, their food, and anything else they need. I guarantee I will never do anything unauthorized by the owner and will soley focus on your animal. I also don’t mind having the dogs at my house as long as the owner is okay with the dog interacting with mine!
About: My extensive experience in pet care is founded on a deeply rooted love for animals and a commitment to providing top-notch service. What sets me apart from other sitters is my personalized approach tailored to each pet's unique needs and personality. Whether it's walking a puppy, or providing gentle care for senior pets, I have a versatile skill set that ensures every furry friend in my care receives the attention and support they deserve. My ability to adapt to various situations and my keen understanding of animal behavior enable me to create a safe and comfortable environment where pets thrive. Don't think I just stop at Cats and Dogs! I was a professional pet sitter for years and have watched and cared for Guinea Pigs, Hamsters, Fishes and a Pigeon (yes even a pigeon). I currently have 8 year old cat Begbie (gorgeous, grumpy and full of sass) 2 1/2 year old cat Dexter (always has his tuxedo on ready to crash events and full of spice) 3 guinea pigs (Norman, Joel and Donnie), they currently reside in their own room (with fences around the outlets), where they have plenty of room to forage, hide, run, whatever their tiny hearts desire. In essence, my passion for pets, sets me apart as a pet sitter who goes above and beyond to exceed expectations and provide peace of mind to pet owners. I can do AM and PM. I do work an 8-5, but have the flexibility to work times around to fit your needs! Weekends AM and PM as well but less restrictive Our cats are indoor cats and our guinea pigs are in a completely separate room (We do allow the cats to visit them, but supervised only)
“David was very thorough taking care of my kitties even when they were being super shy. His communication was greatly appreciated and left me with no worries while I was out of town. I would absolutely book David again!”

About: 🐶💛 Hi, I’m Trevon! Nice to meet you & your fur baby! Ever since I was little, I’ve loved animals with my whole heart. My very first pet — a fluffy rabbit named Gizmo joined my life when I was 10, and I’ve been surrounded by furry friends ever since! I’ve cared for all kinds of pets over the years, including dogs, rabbits, and gerbils I happily took care of everything — feeding, cleaning their spaces, playtime, snuggles, and building real bonds A little more about me! I’ve helped friends & family groom their pets — baths + nail clipping included In 2021, I volunteered with a Petsmart cat rescue I helped clean their spaces, fed them, and made sure they felt loved and entertained My current animal family: • Rita — my sweet lionhead rabbit • Strelka — my energetic 9-month-old Manchester Terrier puppy We’re currently working on training, and I love watching her grow each day! She’s good around other dogs and people though! Animals truly bring joy into my life, and I’d be honored to take care of your pet like part of my own family I can’t wait to meet you and your furry best friend! ✨ My Daily Pet-Care Routine ✨ I currently work night shift, but I’m usually home between 6:40–7:00 AM. Afternoon Another potty/play break around 2:00 PM Back outside again around 3:00 PM Evening • She’s allowed to stay out of her crate freely until about 8:00 PM, which is her cozy “bedtime” At this time I’m willing to do Client drop in , day time day care your pets will be treated like mine , grooming (only bathes & nail clipping) and dog walking.
About: I have had dogs my entire life; mainly German shepherds. In my adult life, I have rescued Pitbulls. I am capable of feeding, letting out/walking, playing with, sitting, and giving medicine to, if necessary. I learned to give fluids through IV under the skin to one of my pitbulls who was in kidney failure at the end of her life a few years ago. I am currently working part-time, which I am planning on giving up once I have enough clientele so that I can do what I really love to do. I will come to your home and take care of your pet there so that they are as comfortable as possible with someone new in their surroundings.

I couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter! She was reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring with my cats. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that she treated my cats with patience, love, and care as if they were her own. I came home to happy, well-cared-for cats and couldn’t be more grateful. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and compassionate to care for their pets!

Each week we are reminded of how lucky we are to have Olivia. You can tell how much she loves animals by how much fun she has with the photos she takes of our cat as well as how excited he gets to see Olivia. Her communication is on point, her service is on point, everything is on point

Miranda is awesome! She was able to fit me in for a last minute booking which I really appreciated. Over the four day booking, she earned the trust and affection of two cats. I am absolutely amazed because these cats are notoriously quite spicy 😂 She also administered daily medicine and sent many pics each day. You can trust Miranda to make your time away from your furry children stress free - highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Riverside. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
