I will send updates at least once a day with photos and call in case of any odd behavior or emergencies.

“Jamie was an absolute lifesaver when I needed someone to look after my dog, Gracie, on short notice with multiple visits throughout the day. Her attentive and caring approach was evident in the thoughtful updates I received, which truly put my mind at ease. About: I’ve cared for dogs of various ages, sizes, and energy levels—from playful puppies to sweet senior dogs. What sets me apart is my attention to each pet’s unique needs. I’m patient, reliable, and genuinely love building trust with every animal I care for. I’m experienced with managing senior dog routines, and helping reinforce basic training with younger pups. Whether it’s a high-energy walk or slow, gentle care for older pups, I adapt to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine! I work part time, attend the University of Maryland, and am a cadet in Air Force ROTC—so I’m highly organized and used to managing my time well. I typically have flexible windows throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, or pet sitting, especially in the mornings, evenings, and weekends. Spending time with animals is actually one of my favorite ways to unwind, and I take every opportunity to give them my full attention and care. At my home, pets have a safe, cozy environment with access to a fully fenced 6’ yard for supervised outdoor play and potty breaks. I’m comfortable with crate training and can follow any specific routines you have in place to reinforce structure and consistency—especially helpful for puppies or dogs in training. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I stick closely to their usual schedule and preferences to help them feel relaxed and secure. Whether it’s playtime, feeding, walks, or quiet crate time, I make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for.

About: I grew up with dogs and have being taking care of friend's dogs for as long as I can remember. They hold a special place in my heart. Our dog is blind and I've also watched deaf dogs so comfortable with any and all! My husband and I both work from home so they will have a lot of attention and time for potty breaks. I love being outside so would be taking your fur baby on hikes, long walks, even swimming if they enjoy that! While I do not have a fenced in yard, I do have a lot of open space with grass around my house. I'm happy to crate your fur baby if needed, but animals are welcome in bed with us and on the furniture. :)

Laura C.
“Laura was amazing with my dog. From the first moment she showed affection, responsibility and a genuine connection with him. She kept me informed with photos and messages, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. Totally recommended!”

Molly S.
“I have a dog that loves people but dislikes all other animals. She is no doubt a difficult dog. Before Molly, she had to be kenneled, which I didn't love doing. I tried several other dog sitters and it was a disaster. I even had to leave my vacation early once because the sitter let her loose w another dog. Molly gets animals, their behavior, requirements and fully understands the seriousness of my situation. She is the ONLY pet sitter I allow to watch my dog. It also helps that she is studying to be a Veterinarian, has her degree in Marine Biology and has access to veterinary advice and care from her coworkers should a question arise. She is also a very friendly, honest and a reliable young lady, who also loves plants, so if you need those watered or cared for as well she has a great green thumb!”

Stacie Z.

“Thank you, Stacie. Our babies seemed very content when we got back home. I very much appreciate your care of them. Until next time :). Laura Wood”

“Heidi is a puppy sitter for our program at Washington College in partnership with Fidos For Freedom in raising future service dogs.
