About: As stated, I have an 8 almost 8 year old German Shepherd myself. I’ve trained him myself to be quite obedient off leash, to listen well, and overall he’s very well behaved. I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, turtles and more so I know my way around animals. I’m currently enlisted in the United States Navy. I work at the Naval Academy typically from around 9 in the morning to about 3pm most days. I’m also married with two kids and my wife is a stay at home mom who can also look after your furry friends as well. I don’t work weekends so I’m always available during the weekends and can be flexible throughout the week as well. At my home my dog is never crated he is always out and house trained. However, when looking after your fur babies if they need to be crated I have no issue catering to your needs. I don’t have a yard but we have a massive field and live in a circle so long walks are always a must. Whatever the needs of your fur babies, I can take care of those from daily dog walking, spending and playing time with your animals, staying over night at yours/my place, and giving g medicine if needed.

“Heather was great! I booked her for 30 min visits with our 2 cats while we were away for 8 days. The cats are VERY shy and hesitant with strangers- even relatives who have visited multiple times rarely get to see them. Other Rover sitters that I booked for 30 min just saw the cats hiding under the couch as always and left after 10 min. Heather always stayed the FULL TIME and toward the end of the booking she even captured photos of the cats out from under the couch and even approaching her hand :D The apartment was also left clean, the box scooped, and the food bowl full. I've handled several medical emergencies. I take the responsibility seriously. You can trust your family member will be properly cared for in any situation. Any concerns or changes in routine will be addressed with you immediately. *If interested in boarding please note that I do have a 66 pound Pit mix. He previously lived with another dog, a cat, and two toddlers. He is very friendly with absolutely zero aggression. He will not stand up for himself. I would be happy to do a meet and greet in my home or on neutral ground. If your pet is not compatible with large male dogs, please do not request this service. Alternatively, I would be happy to pet sit or stop in for longer visits. I work from home part time with very flexible hours. I can easily fit any needed pet care into my routine. I am up and available at most hours, early morning and late at night included. I do not board more than 2 pets at a time. Though I do not personally crate, I will if it's the routine of your pet and the crate is provided. My home is equipped with baby gates and large bedrooms so I am prepared to separate without your furry friend feeling too cooped up, should the need arise. I do not have a fenced backyard. Walks will be given a minimum of 3 times a day. 4-5 walks is my normal routine, though I am happy to follow your pets cues or their routine. My neighborhood is pet friendly with walking trails and lots of shaded areas. I have a deck with a large umbrella and dog beds, perfect if your pet likes to sunbathe as mine does!
About: I've had dogs my whole life and love playing with and training them. I unfortunately lost Axel, my shepherd/husky mix, last year. But I still have Harley (technically my boyfriend's, but we've lived together 3 years now). About: I have always grown up surrounded by dogs of all breeds and cats as well! Personally, my family always had golden retrievers (okay, I have a soft spot). Over the years, I have always watched neighbors or family pets, including my own. I’ve helped manage any illnesses that may have come along with any dog or cat needing medications or special therapy! About: As stated, I have an 8 almost 8 year old German Shepherd myself. I’ve trained him myself to be quite obedient off leash, to listen well, and overall he’s very well behaved. I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, turtles and more so I know my way around animals. I’m currently enlisted in the United States Navy. I work at the Naval Academy typically from around 9 in the morning to about 3pm most days. I’m also married with two kids and my wife is a stay at home mom who can also look after your furry friends as well. I don’t work weekends so I’m always available during the weekends and can be flexible throughout the week as well. At my home my dog is never crated he is always out and house trained. However, when looking after your fur babies if they need to be crated I have no issue catering to your needs. I don’t have a yard but we have a massive field and live in a circle so long walks are always a must. Whatever the needs of your fur babies, I can take care of those from daily dog walking, spending and playing time with your animals, staying over night at yours/my place, and giving g medicine if needed.
