About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and grew up caring for 3 dogs, 2 cats, birds, lizards, hermit crabs, fish, and rabbits. Taking care of pets has always come naturally to me. Since I was around 10 years old, I’ve helped walk my neighbors’ dogs and puppies, as well as pet sit their dogs and cats while they were away on vacation. About: I have owned pets most of my life. I have extensive experience caring for dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, and many other animals. I am also great with plants. I have been pet sitting outside of Rover for many years. I have a very sweet pit mix and do not discriminate against any breed! I understand the importance of trust and communication while allowing someone to care for your pet! I will always go above and beyond to give extra love to your furry friend, not just take care of basic needs. I keep a well stocked pet cabinet and bring supplies with me for sits, drop-ins, and walks. Anxiety, tummy issues, allergies, discomfort, first aid, grooming, enrichment- you name it, I'm prepared. I've handled several medical emergencies. I take the responsibility seriously. You can trust your family member will be properly cared for in any situation. Any concerns or changes in routine will be addressed with you immediately. *If interested in boarding please note that I do have a 66 pound Pit mix. He previously lived with another dog, a cat, and two toddlers. He is very friendly with absolutely zero aggression. He will not stand up for himself. I would be happy to do a meet and greet in my home or on neutral ground. If your pet is not compatible with large male dogs, please do not request this service. Alternatively, I would be happy to pet sit or stop in for longer visits. I work from home part time with very flexible hours. I can easily fit any needed pet care into my routine. I am up and available at most hours, early morning and late at night included. I do not board more than 2 pets at a time. Though I do not personally crate, I will if it's the routine of your pet and the crate is provided. My home is equipped with baby gates and large bedrooms so I am prepared to separate without your furry friend feeling too cooped up, should the need arise. I do not have a fenced backyard. Walks will be given a minimum of 3 times a day. 4-5 walks is my normal routine, though I am happy to follow your pets cues or their routine. My neighborhood is pet friendly with walking trails and lots of shaded areas. I have a deck with a large umbrella and dog beds, perfect if your pet likes to sunbathe as mine does!

I’d like to be able to support other people who need assistance. During the week your dog won’t be left alone for more than an hour depending on drop off and pick up time. During the weekend your dog won’t be left longer than 3-4 hours depending. We can always communicate your dogs specific needs to accommodate! I have a fenced yard in our home and a friendly, playful 2 year old male lab (fixed). If your dog is in my home, they do need to be friendly with other dogs. This is to ensure the safety of my dog and if I am boarding or hosting daycare for another dog. During the week I do work full time so there are times where I am in meetings so it is preferred your dog is not destructive, okay without supervision, or is okay in a crate or enclosed room. I communicate my anticipated work schedule and plan for the day with the pet owner.

About: I'm a 32 y/o born & raised Annapolitan living in the heart of DT, and was raised always having 2 big dogs and 2 cats at a time. As of now, I travel to the Eastern Shore once a week to help my folks take care of our beloved Piper (13 y/o grandma Weimaraner) and Rooney (8 year old tabby). The dog walking option does provide you with a map of our route. I'm happy to brush, feed, medicate your pets, water plants, grab the mail, clean the litter box or do simple tasks at no extra charge. “Candice was amazing with my dog, Nagi. This was the first trip my family and I had taken since getting her, so leaving her with someone new made us a little nervous at first. We chose Candice based on her profile and reviews, and she absolutely did not disappoint. My family and I were able to fully enjoy our spring break trip knowing our pup was in excellent hands. Candice provided lots of updates with pictures and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind and made us feel connected to Nagi while we were away. Nagi decided she didn’t want to use the stairs for the first few days of her stay, but Candice was incredibly patient and treated her like one of her own pups the entire time. She even carried Nagi up and down the stairs until she felt comfortable enough to use them like she normally does. Halfway through Nagi’s 1 week stay, she started having an upset tummy. Candice went above and beyond by picking up medicine for her, feeding her boiled chicken and rice, and taking care of multiple accidents when Nagi couldn’t make it outside in time. Candice also has a pup of her own, Rayne, which made Nagi’s stay even more fun. It was clear Nagi had a wonderful time and felt comfortable there. When we picked her up, she looked so happy, relaxed, and content, which told me everything I needed to know about how well she was cared for. If we ever need a sitter again, I would absolutely book with Candice again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy dog sitter.”
About: I have grown up with medium to large sized dogs my whole life. I have experience with very friendly dogs and dogs that cannot play with others as well as puppies to older dogs. I have cared for my own pets and friends while growing up and can be trusted with any task to ensure your pets needs and safety! I can offer dog walking in the mornings (7-9am) or afternoons (4-7pm) during the week or anytime during the weekends. I am available on the weekends to check-in or stay with your animal overnight as well. I can check-in and care for your animal during the day or overnight at clients homes. I will ensure your pet is fed, walked, bathed, played with and let outside for their needs. I am comfortable with any specific instructions from the owners as well (medication that needs to be taken, crate training, etc).

About: As stated, I have an 8 almost 8 year old German Shepherd myself. I’ve trained him myself to be quite obedient off leash, to listen well, and overall he’s very well behaved. I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, turtles and more so I know my way around animals. I’m currently enlisted in the United States Navy. I work at the Naval Academy typically from around 9 in the morning to about 3pm most days. I’m also married with two kids and my wife is a stay at home mom who can also look after your furry friends as well. I don’t work weekends so I’m always available during the weekends and can be flexible throughout the week as well. At my home my dog is never crated he is always out and house trained. However, when looking after your fur babies if they need to be crated I have no issue catering to your needs. I don’t have a yard but we have a massive field and live in a circle so long walks are always a must. Whatever the needs of your fur babies, I can take care of those from daily dog walking, spending and playing time with your animals, staying over night at yours/my place, and giving g medicine if needed.
