About: I have over 20 years of experience caring for dogs and have been involved in dog and cat rescue for many years, fostering multiple small dogs and puppies. I have lots of experience potty training puppies. I have a gentle school‑age son who is very respectful with animals. I specialize in hosting small (up to 30lb) dogs (max 2 at a time). My space is perfect for anxious, shy, or ‘velcro’ pups who don’t enjoy busy kennels. I work from home full‑time, so visiting pups are with me throughout the day for company, potty breaks, and walks. I have a puppy corner in my office with toys and bones, and a special doggy armchair so they can have fun and be comfortable. We take frequent walks or just spend time in my yard and garden. Being outdoors with your pets is the highlight of being a dog sitter! Pets that board with us sleep in my bedroom and can choose a dog bed or a crate, whichever they prefer. Our home is quiet, tidy, and set up for small dogs. I have a gentle school‑age son and two indoor cats who are used to dogs and usually keep their distance. I supervise all introductions, keep doors securely closed, and follow your safety preferences (leash rules, harness, crate if your dog is used to one) so your pup stays safe and comfortable during their stay.

“We have left our dogs with Maureen 3 times now and she is GREAT! She keeps in contact with us by sending pictures of the things they are doing throughout the day. She has a great property for the dogs to roam around and get the exercise they need! I feel that our dogs are in great hands when they stay with her. About: I have been a pet owner my entire life, dogs, cats, lizards, Guinea Pigs. I have always been an animal lover and as a recent retiree I have time on my hands to help care for others animals as if they were my own while their humans are away! I am recently retired and so I have plenty of time on my hands to care for your pets! I do have a cat and dog of my own, so your pet will have company of the furry variety as well. While I do not have a fenced in yard, I have plenty of time to go for walks, play, scratch and give your pet the attention they deserve while you are away.
