“Suzanne followed all instructions to a tee and even was willing to use her own cat food when the order being delivered was delayed. She was timely in her visits and sent pictures each time. My cats were happy and healthy when I arrived home. Definitely would use Suzanne again.”

“We are so grateful for Sarah and the care they gave our dogs! We have two pups who don’t always get along, and she handled them with so much patience, understanding, and skill. It gave us real peace of mind knowing they were in such capable hands. Sarah kept us updated, followed our instructions carefully, and clearly made the effort to get to know each dog individually. We could tell our dogs felt comfortable and cared for. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone—especially those with pets that have a bit more complex personalities. Thank you again!”

“Brenda was amazing! She truly took the best care of my maltipoo. She even played and sent photos! She is kind and compassionate. My experience w Brenda has been the best. This has allowed me to travel more for work. Thank you Brenda!”

About: I’ve had all sorts of animals my entire life from lizards to horses. I’ve watched friends, family, and strangers pets along with occasionally some kiddos. I’m always available for questions so feel free to reach out anytime! My work schedule stays pretty consistent and I make sure my calendar on here is always up to date. Right now I work Wednesdays through Sundays 7-5. If you have any questions please let me know! I have a fenced yard, with a 2 1/2 year old mix who loves to play. Also in the house is a 3 y/o mini ausie who likes to stay in her own space inside the master bedroom. As well as a cat who has his own bedroom. All trash and food items stay in cupboards and off the counters. Bathroom doors are kept closed but a large water dispenser is available for thirsty fur babies.

“Paige was great! She was very communicative and took great care of my (slightly skittish) dog! Paige made me feel very comfortable that my dog was well taken care of while I was out of town!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats of my own for the past 18 years, and offering services on Rover since 2021. I love going for long walks with the pups and cuddling with kitties. My last pooch crossed the rainbow bridge at 14 years, so I am familiar with senior dog care and administering topical and oral medications. I’m home on weekends, and working a 9-5 during the week. Dogs who are not kid friendly would be more of a challenge, but feel free to message and we can see how to make it work. I have a 2 year old tuxedo cat named BingBong at my home in New Castle and 1/2 custody of a very friendly 5 year old lab/Australian shepherd mix dog named Onyx. I work a full time 9-5 Monday through Friday, but happy to stop by before and after work. My schedule is pretty open on the weekends! I prefer drop in visits and walks in your pet’s home, environment with limited availability for boarding, house sitting, and doggie day care upon request.

“Morgan was excellent! WileE seemed well taken care of and based on the photos she sent, they both had a great time. She did everything I asked and I will definitely reach out to her in the future.”

About: Hello! Lifelong animal lover here. Grew up wanting to be a veterinarian, somehow stumbled into tech. Currently on sabbatical from work and enjoying settling into our new life on the Western Slope. We currently have a 14 year old Australian Shephard / Husky whose love language is long meandering walks. I’m Type A, active, and have experience with positive reinforcement training for dogs. Love cats, cared for them growing up, although I can't say I've had any success there with "training"... :) I'm currently on a sabbatical so my weekly schedule is flexible. Typically bring our 14-year-old pup for a long walk mid morning and again late afternoon. Could happily incorporate more exercise for a higher energy pup, or less for those more inclined on couch time. We live on 3 acres near Rifle Mountain Park, set back from the highway. Peaty can generally be found lounging outside in the sun, or sleeping on his bed next to the wood-burning stove. He's happy to show another pup his lifestyle, and we're also happy to follow stricter rules as needed.

“Omg Claire was the best! She took great care of our two cats, and even brought in the mail and signed for a package for us. I would highly recommend her as she seems comfortable with animals of all kinds and our cats quickly warmed up to her.”

“Jovany was great with our pups and went the extra mile to help us. We came from out of town and didn’t know we weren’t allowed to have pets unattended so we were so excited to see that Rover could help us get to the hot springs. We’re so thankful and will use this service and hopefully Jovany again!”

My speciality is deescalating, identifying triggers and managing anxiety. I have a neutral energy and understand animal energy, their nonverbal behavior; hence easily identifying their needs. My son who is now 25 Yrs old was non verbal for a long time and had high levels of anxiety (Autism spectrum). He taught me everything I know. I got trained in Applied Behavior Analysis which it is a blessing to have when being animals of all sorts. I am a semi retired insurance broker. Self employed and work remotely with a very flexible schedule to accommodate flexibility with drop inn visits, scheduling walks and overnight pet care. I offer flexibility in walking dogs and pick them up at hotels, resorts, as you attend important life events and have your furry animal well taken care of. Following pet routines are my highest priority for overnight care. It establishes emotional support and stability to a smooth transition in bonding and developing trust to reassure they are being taken care of.

“Alexis was a lifesaver! My husband and I brought our Beagle, Banjo, along on a weekend getaway to Glenwood Springs, and he quickly let us know that he was not going to be left alone in our hotel room. Alexis wasn't able to keep him at her home over the weekend due to us not being sure about how he would interact with her kitties. However, she was super flexible and came to us at our hotel. We were able to attend a church event, have lunch with a friend from our home state, and go on a a great date night to Native Son and Iron Mountain Hot Springs while she kept our pup safe and entertained. She sent us lots of adorable pictures of him and we had no issues whatsoever. We would 10/10 hire Alexis again and would recommend her for your pet care needs!”

About: Lifelong animal, pet, and nature lover! I have been caring for other peoples pets for over 12 years. Unfortunately, life got a little too busy for me to continue with this enjoyable “work”, but now I have the flexibility to re-cultivate this passion once again. From walking your dog, to taking them on adventures and hikes, to overnight stays, I am available for whatever you and your precious pet’s need are. I have a Chihuahua mix of my own that I rescued in 2020, and he is such a sweetheart and a major lover of cuddling. During my downtime, I can be found reading, hiking, cleaning, or doing yoga. I have full flexibility and availability to meet all the needs and desires of your precious pet! From walks, to hikes, to overnight stays, I am available! I live in Rifle, so I offer drop-in visits and dog walking from Glenwood Springs to Parachute. For overnight stays, I will travel from Aspen to Grand Junction. I have a fenced yard for potty breaks. I love to go on walks with dogs, and will walk them for whatever amount of time they are used to or suits their energy level. I have a sweet, small dog that is friendly to all animals we meet. He will play with your pet, or give your pet space, he is happy either way.

About: I have been around dogs and cats my entire life. I have always been the first person people call when they need a house sitter so I have many references. I have worked as a doggy daycare attendant in my hometown for a year before moving to college. I was trusted with up to 70 precious dogs at a time and responsible for keeping everything clean and giving them each individual love. My family also breeds basset hounds and have been responsible with litters up to 10 and am experienced in puppy care! :) I am currently a college student with long breaks in between my classes and most afternoons off. I am available for house sitting on most weekends. If you want your dog to have a quick walk in the middle of the day, I am your girl! I will make sure I have detailed instructions from you and will be sending lots of pictures and videos of your cute pups! I will be coming to you with any questions, big or small.
