About: I’ve had all sorts of animals my entire life from lizards to horses. I’ve watched friends, family, and strangers pets along with occasionally some kiddos. I’m always available for questions so feel free to reach out anytime! My work schedule stays pretty consistent and I make sure my calendar on here is always up to date. Right now I work Wednesdays through Sundays 7-5. If you have any questions please let me know! I have a fenced yard, with a 2 1/2 year old mix who loves to play. Also in the house is a 3 y/o mini ausie who likes to stay in her own space inside the master bedroom. As well as a cat who has his own bedroom. All trash and food items stay in cupboards and off the counters. Bathroom doors are kept closed but a large water dispenser is available for thirsty fur babies.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats of my own for the past 18 years, and offering services on Rover since 2021. I love going for long walks with the pups and cuddling with kitties. My last pooch crossed the rainbow bridge at 14 years, so I am familiar with senior dog care and administering topical and oral medications. I’m home on weekends, and working a 9-5 during the week. Dogs who are not kid friendly would be more of a challenge, but feel free to message and we can see how to make it work. I have a 2 year old tuxedo cat named BingBong at my home in New Castle and 1/2 custody of a very friendly 5 year old lab/Australian shepherd mix dog named Onyx. I work a full time 9-5 Monday through Friday, but happy to stop by before and after work. My schedule is pretty open on the weekends! I prefer drop in visits and walks in your pet’s home, environment with limited availability for boarding, house sitting, and doggie day care upon request.

About: Hello! Lifelong animal lover here. Grew up wanting to be a veterinarian, somehow stumbled into tech. Currently on sabbatical from work and enjoying settling into our new life on the Western Slope. We currently have a 14 year old Australian Shephard / Husky whose love language is long meandering walks. I’m Type A, active, and have experience with positive reinforcement training for dogs. Love cats, cared for them growing up, although I can't say I've had any success there with "training"... :) I'm currently on a sabbatical so my weekly schedule is flexible. Typically bring our 14-year-old pup for a long walk mid morning and again late afternoon. Could happily incorporate more exercise for a higher energy pup, or less for those more inclined on couch time. We live on 3 acres near Rifle Mountain Park, set back from the highway. Peaty can generally be found lounging outside in the sun, or sleeping on his bed next to the wood-burning stove. He's happy to show another pup his lifestyle, and we're also happy to follow stricter rules as needed.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 12. Currently a full time pet sitter in another website platform with additional references. My speciality is deescalating, identifying triggers and managing anxiety. I have a neutral energy and understand animal energy, their nonverbal behavior; hence easily identifying their needs. My son who is now 25 Yrs old was non verbal for a long time and had high levels of anxiety (Autism spectrum). He taught me everything I know. Self employed and work remotely with a very flexible schedule to accommodate flexibility with drop inn visits, scheduling walks and overnight pet care. I offer flexibility in walking dogs and pick them up at hotels, resorts, as you attend important life events and have your furry animal well taken care of. Following pet routines are my highest priority for overnight care. It establishes emotional support and stability to a smooth transition in bonding and developing trust to reassure they are being taken care of.

My husband and I brought our Beagle, Banjo, along on a weekend getaway to Glenwood Springs, and he quickly let us know that he was not going to be left alone in our hotel room. Alexis wasn't able to keep him at her home over the weekend due to us not being sure about how he would interact with her kitties. However, she was super flexible and came to us at our hotel. We were able to attend a church event, have lunch with a friend from our home state, and go on a a great date night to Native Son and Iron Mountain Hot Springs while she kept our pup safe and entertained. She sent us lots of adorable pictures of him and we had no issues whatsoever. We would 10/10 hire Alexis again and would recommend her for your pet care needs!”

I live in Rifle, so I offer drop-in visits and dog walking from Glenwood Springs to Parachute. For overnight stays, I will travel from Aspen to Grand Junction. I have a fenced yard for potty breaks. I love to go on walks with dogs, and will walk them for whatever amount of time they are used to or suits their energy level. I have a sweet, small dog that is friendly to all animals we meet. He will play with your pet, or give your pet space, he is happy either way.

About: I have been around dogs and cats my entire life. I have always been the first person people call when they need a house sitter so I have many references. I have worked as a doggy daycare attendant in my hometown for a year before moving to college. I was trusted with up to 70 precious dogs at a time and responsible for keeping everything clean and giving them each individual love. My family also breeds basset hounds and have been responsible with litters up to 10 and am experienced in puppy care! :) I am currently a college student with long breaks in between my classes and most afternoons off. I am available for house sitting on most weekends. If you want your dog to have a quick walk in the middle of the day, I am your girl!
