About: Hello! My name is Jake and I love animals. I am a graduate from CMC Veterinary Technology with experiences in clinics, non-profit animal shelters, and personal pets. I have worked with a wide variety of animals that range from small rodents, dogs, reptiles, cats, lifestock, to the crazy exotics. All of your pets are special and I am willing to take time with special care and needs such as walks, food, medications, fluids, etc. I love getting photos and videos of your pets enjoying themselves and enjoy putting montages together. I am always happy and willing to go the extra mile in order for both owners and pets to be happy and comfortable. I am currently working a full time job from 3-11 am 6x a week, this gives me nearly most days & nights to care for pets afterwards I will give any animal 100% of my attention and love. I will respect any boundary placed by the owners and the animals. I will stay and only do what I'm there to do, unless owners have asked for more such as deep-cleaning, trash, dishes, etc.

Flexable on rates as well, especially for multiple animal/long term stays. My most recent pup had diabetes so I know how to give medications and shots. About: Since I was born I have had dogs in my life and have always had a love of caring for pets of all types. I have administered eye drops and insulin shots for family pets when they were aging. I give each pet extra love. In the past I have done overnight stays for a boss watching their two dogs; a ridgeback and pit bull along with their chameleon. I’ve had lizards, fish, and cared for my roommates snake and shepherd mix while she was out of town or working late nights. I started my business, Alpine Animal Services in 2020, and have cared for a countless number of animals. Each one I hold dear to my heart. When I say I will care for your animal and loved one, I mean it to the depths of my core and being. I promise to protect, care for, and keep your animal safe while in my care. I have carried insurance since day one to ensure extra care and safety for your loved ones. I recently obtained a certification in Animal Search and Rescue, as animal welfare is a high priority and passion of mine. I volunteer and have a close relationship with CARE in Glenwood. In progress, I will be completing a Fear Free program with ASPCA. With more plans to continue learning about animal behavior and understanding the different kinds of animals. My husband and I have rescued 6 pets together. We rescued three cats at the age of 8 weeks from; CARE, Rory (5), and Wallace (10) from the Aspen Animal Shelter. Rory is a tabby cat, Wallace is a long-haired black cat. Our most recent cat, Purrci, is not a rescued animal, she’s great either way and deserves the same love and care as a rescue, We have three dogs; lucky (12) is from aspen animal shelter and is a shih tzu/poodle mix, Zoey (10), is from CARE and is a terrier/shih tzu/poodle mix, and our youngest, Koda (3) is from Rifle Animal Shelter/Journey Home Animal Shelter, he is a black lab/shepherd mix. We also have a 6-year-old daughter who has grown up with all of these animals. The animals get a long very well. Koda loves playing with any of the animals when they are up to it. The ultimate goal for this endeavor is to have an animal sanctuary where animals and reptiles have a place to call home. Think of, those animals/reptiles, that sit in shelters for months on end, with the possibility of being euthanized. We’ll have a place for them in our sanctuary, our hearts, and home. We’re so excited for what’s to come! An ideal situation would be that the pet tolerates children, as I tend to bring my 6-year-old little girl with me from time-to-time. I am available Monday-Thursday, and Operate from 8-5pm. Services include; walks, hikes, or check-ins. I have a certification in Pet CPR via Red Cross, a certification in Animal Search and Rescue (ASAR) via Code3 and CSU, over a decade of experience volunteering at local animal shelters, animal pepper spray, and an Animal Behavior Certification.

About: I have lifelong experience caring for cats and dogs and approach every pet with patience, kindness, and respect. I’m comfortable working with animals that require extra attention and always prioritize their safety, comfort, and well-being. I work from home on a laptop, so I’m happy to provide overnight care during the week. As long as there’s secure Wi-Fi, I can work from your home while giving your pet plenty of attention and care. I treat every pet as if they were my own. I love spending quality time with them through play, walks, and companionship, and I make sure all of their needs are met such as feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, exercise, and any special care they require. Whether in my home or a client’s home, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and loving environment so pets feel comfortable and well cared for.

About: I was a proud pet parent of my own pup for 11 years before she passed. Since then I have been working for friends and family members with animals of their own. I am an extremely calm, open-minded, yet responsible human, and have been called an ‘animal-whisperor’ for the more sensitive and anxious. From cuddles on the couch to long walks along the river, I know what your animal needs and can make it happen for them, no matter how out-of-the-box. I am currently a student, so I have plenty of free time to hang out with your beloved pet! I only have classes Monday and Wednesday right now, so the rest of the week can be devoted to whatever you need! Developing a relationship of trust with your pet is always my first priority. Showing you and your pet that they are safe, wherever they may be, is always top of mind. I am firm with training without breaking that layer of trust that an animal needs in order to respond well. As for the environment, I am extremely adaptable, making any environment work for you, me, and your pet.

About: I have many years experience with dogs and cats, growing up with at least one dog and cat in the house; reliable house sitting for friends and family. I would want someone to treat my animal as if it was their own, so I will endure and make sure I do that, and keep them as a top priority! I live in Glenwood Springs, attending school and working in town, I am able to spend the night almost every and any night needed, but have responsibilities through the days including some Saturdays. Provide medication as scheduled, feeding, walking, brushing, playing, pup cups, or car rides. I love to get them moving, having fun, and engaging in play!
