“Carol was wonderful for the scheduled drop-in visits for our cat during an extended vacation, and we felt comfortable with her in our house while we were away. Our cat warmed-up to her quickly and she sent us pictures of her attentive care each day. She went above-and-beyond, spending a little more than the required time, as well as by gathering mail, watering plants, and filling up a bird feeder to entertain our cat. We will certainly seek her help in the future and would highly recommend her services!”

She responded to my inquiry quickly and came right over and met our two dogs and I showed her around the house and explained the general routine our dogs have. She seemed great with the dogs and I felt comfortable letting her come to the house while we were gone (about 2.5 days). Nikki came for all 10 of the scheduled visits right on time and she sent us a lot of great pics of the dogs enjoying themselves. We're super pleased with Nikki and would hire her again.”

About: I’ve had dogs, cats and birds my entire life and have experience with smaller breeds all the way up to giant breed dogs. I’ve been involved in rescue for the past 15 years and have a lot of experience with special needs pets of all kinds. I can administer medications, including injectable medications, and I work in veterinary medicine. I do this because of my love animals and it brings me joy for people to know that their pets are getting top-notch care when they are away. I know how important it is to be able to relax when you’re away and not have to worry about your pets. I have tons of references available up upon request as well :) I work at an animal hospital during the day (8-4) M-F but am available to stay in your home, or to do drop in visits before and after those hours. On weekends I am available to be there all day. I can also make special arrangements during the week upon request. I pet sit for many people with very specific instructions for their babies and I follow them exactly as asked. About: When I was nine, my parents got their first Afghan hound, and I was heavily involved in their dog show routine, including grooming and being a junior handler. When I moved out and started working full-time, I didn't have time for a dog, so my experience with cats started (about 25 years ago). After my second marriage though, I was back into the dog (and cat) life as my wife had two dogs when we met... that was about 10 years ago. I was laid off and I'm currently looking to fill the gap while I look for my next job. So, for now, I have a very flexible schedule. We have one dog and three cats at home now (we lost our golden doodle at the beginning of the COVID pandemic). They are all happy and healthy and have unique personalities (one cat is even trained to catch and fetch puff balls). We spend tons of time with our animals, and at the end of the day, it's typical to have all four on the couch with us for TV... The cats especially enjoy funny cat videos!
