My husband and I recently went away and had Fiona watch our two precious cats; it’s very hard for us to find a good fit for a sitter because one of our cats is diabetic and has been described as “fractious”. She’s very sweet…but only after she’s been sufficiently vicious. Fiona came by a couple of times before our trip to test the waters and try checking the cats blood sugar. She became the third person who is able to, which in itself is amazing. We knew that both our sweet girls were in good hands while we were away AND we received daily pictures and videos!! Some of the pictures were just amazing, and you can tell that Fiona truly enjoys spending time with the animals she cares for. Our fractious kitty even snuggled a bit and posed for some selfies; our other shy kitty came out to play. It was so clear that they both felt comfortable with her. I can’t imagine having anyone else pet sit in the future. Fiona is a gift and we’re so lucky to have found her. I can’t recommend her enough!!”

My experience is strongest with medium and large breeds — especially energetic pointers, thanks to my dad raising them — so I know how to handle dogs with a lot of athleticism and enthusiasm. At the same time, I’m patient and mindful, able to slow down and match the pace of gentle giants like Bernese Mountain Dogs. I’m very active and love the Providence area, so walking dogs here is a perfect way for me to get outside, stay energized, and give your furry friend the exercise and attention they deserve. About: I've been around and cared for dogs my whole life. I grew up around large dogs like Shepherd mixes and Huskies, but I've also been responsible for the care of smaller dogs as well. I've lived with cats and currently have one myself that I "co-parent" with my housemate. I've also cared for rabbits, chickens, parrots, fish, turtles, frogs, and even axolotls! I'm just an all-around animal person, and I'd love to meet you and your pet :) I work remotely part-time on weekdays, and I can do this from anywhere with an internet connection, so I'm very flexible when it comes to bookings. This is how I'm able to prioritize your pet so they get the attention they deserve! I'm no stranger to following extremely specific special instructions for a pet. I know that every animal has their own personality, with likes, dislikes, and individual needs. I also understand that for each booking, I'm entering someone else's private home, and I make sure to maintain the utmost respect for that. Your pet and your home's safety is my top priority.

About: Since I was very little I have liked pets, I have always been affectionate and affectionate with them. I have always been responsive, sociable and very loving, I like to learn and I love challenges. Perfect, I don't see this as a job, rather it is a nice pastime to relieve stress and give love and affection to those who need it. It's a kind of therapy.
