About: I have been taking care of friends and family pets as well as my own for over 10 years. I also have basic veterinary care experience from working at vet offices/boarding kennels and can give medications upon request. I am currently working 10 hour days at a veterinary hospital in Reading Monday and Wed-Fri and in college part-time, but i have plenty of time to take care of your furry friends. Please allow a 1 hour travel window for me to arrive after I get off work. I have a fenced in yard for our animals and all have been leash, e-collar, recall, and crate trained and I can follow any specific requests to the best of my availability.

About: Had pets my whole life. I walk all the time and know where to take them and have an SUV with enough room to fit them in. Have 2 children who adore all animals. I have a full time job, Tuesday through Saturday, but I’m usually home around 2-4 pm. I’m available every evening and can stop to let them out during the day because of my job flexibility. I love both ends of the spectrum. I love being active and taking dogs for walk/runs. I also love relaxing and cuddling with them and getting to know what their preferences. Will follow all strict diet rules and keep a very clean house to avoid unwanted eating restrictions.

“Dane and Kayla were wonderful taking care of both, our dog and our cat. I liked that they own as well a dog and a cat, making them more understanding of their needs. They kept me ip to date daily with several pictures and I could see my pets were happy. I had to prolong my trip for unexpected health reasons and D&K were the nicest. They extended the contract and even helped me by buying more food for both animals when it ran out, until I returned to pay them back. I felt they really cared for the well-being of our pets , not just to fulfill an obligation. About: I've had many dogs my whole life. I love playing with them and watching their personalities come out. I've also taken care of my neighbor's dog when she was on vacation. I am working in a reptile building at a zoo, and I also attend college for animal studies, where I work with many different animals. When I'm at the client's house, I will have the dogs on a leash when going outside unless they have a fenced-in yard and they say I can have them off of it. I can also crate the dogs if need be.
About: I have been around animals for as long as I can remember, beginning with cats in early childhood. At the age of seven, I got my first dog, which further strengthened my passion for animal care. I later worked at a kennel, where I received hands-on experience and training in many aspects of pet care, including recognizing behavioral cues to better understand animals’ emotions and needs. During my time there, I learned how to administer medications and injections, including insulin for diabetic animals and supplements for those requiring daily care. I also gained experience working with handicapped dogs, including tripod and wheelchair-assisted dogs, as well as animals of various ages. In addition to my professional experience, I personally cared for my own senior dog, which provided me with extensive knowledge and understanding of senior pet care I am currently unemployed, so I am able to take anytime of the day for the next possible two weeks or so. Once I find a job, I will have more strict, set hours that line up with my new job. I have kennel experience which has provided me the training needed to take care of people's fur children while they are away. I also have experience with reactive dogs, as I worked with several of them while working at the kennel, and grew up with one of my own.
