“This was perfect for what I needed. We had no local friends or family that could take our cat. We were going to be away but he couldn't be at the house because we were having work done on it while we were gone. They took our cat into their home. I was surprised to see they had other cats when I arrived. But one question on the survey was if your pet does well with other cats, which he does, but cats tend to not be friendly with new cats initially so I was a bit worried they'd fight, but they had a separate area, a sun room that they allowed Sox to adjust in and during the week they had sent pictures of him being inside the home on the couch so obviously it was fine. I actually never met or dealt with Sarah only her Mom. Which I felt was odd. I was expecting the person pictured, the person I paid. Her Mom was lovely and clearly there were no issues and my cat was returned safely to me, I just felt it was odd the Sarah was sleeping or "resting because she works a lot" both times I was there. I didn't take any stars off my review for that, because again the service accomplished what I needed which was my cat to be cared for outside of my home.”

About: I’ve taken care of lots of animals including dogs for over 13 years! In addition to caring for my own animals, I have been relied on by others to care for their pets as well. I consistently work on training with both my dog and cat. Currently, my dog Nani is learning to search for edible mushrooms on our hikes! About: Although I have had cats throughout my life, I always considered myself more of a dog person. Over time, however, my experiences have led me to appreciate both cats and dogs equally. I currently own four cats, including a former stray mother cat named Jasmine, who gave birth to her kittens in my apartment. After caring for the litter, we were able to find homes for four of the kittens and ultimately decided to keep one along with Jasmine. I also have my own cat Clemtine who I've had since 2022 and Pennywise, who is my friend's cat who sadly passed away. Raising and caring for them has deepened my appreciation for cats and strengthened the bond I have with them.

About: We’re happy to follow any specific instructions you have for caring for your pets while they’re with us. If your animals are staying in our home, they’ll have access to a spacious yard where dogs can play and run freely. We also have a small dog and a cat who are well-socialized and have done well with other animals during previous stays. However, if any pets need to be separated for comfort or safety, our home is set up to accommodate that easily and without stress. Our main services include boards and drop ins. We also offer house sitting services; however, please note that we are not available for overnight stays at this time. We have a large, open yard where dogs can play and get plenty of exercise, as well as a designated playpen area in our basement for indoor fun and safety. If we’re caring for your pets in your home, we’re happy to follow any specific guidelines or routines you provide to ensure they feel safe and comfortable.

About: I've had dogs in my life since I was in my 20s. I have crate and potty trained all my dogs. I have patience and compassion for dogs. I would often meet up with friends and family at house party gathering and dog park gatherings to socialize my dogs and to show them love, companionship, and that they are a member of the family not only a pet. I've kept and cared for dogs until there dying age and paid for there cremation. I am indeed a dog loving person. I am currently taking care of my mom who has dementia 24/7 and I am home with her all day. The only days I'm out the house is when my mom or myself have a doctor's appointment. The time I have during the day, I can do dog walks and drop by to feed and let your dog out to your yard. I currently have a chiwawa mix dog name Romeo and he is fed, taken out for walks and sleeps on my sofa everyday. He is encouraged to play, fetch and have treats as rewards. He is shown love everyday and has all his shots and vet visits up to date.

My home is not fenced in, however my dog is trained and comes when called and doesn't need a leash. If Dogs are coming to my home; they will require a leash and harness. Customers will advise on how animals needs to be serviced in there home.
About: I worked at a kennel for a year but I've had dogs all my life. There's never been a year I haven't had a dog. I have three dogs of my own currently so I take care of them almost every day. About: I worked as a Lead-Kennel caregiver at a rescue for three years, I currently live/operate a family farm, and I currently work at PetSmart warehouse! I also took a course through Best Freight Animal Rescue in Utah to run my own sanctuary, visited the sanctuary in Utah, and completed my course and got a certificate to run/operate my own sanctuary! I currently work a PetSmart warehouse three days of the week, and home the other four days. But we live/run a family farm so my partner is available the three days I am working! During the stay, I like to send regular updates with accompanying pictures, so you can see just how well your pet is doing while you’re away. In addition to pictures, I like to send detailed information on anything you need to feel in the loop—from behaviors to meals to exercise times. Going the extra mile is just what I do best! *For house pet sitting, I am a currently working in Pennsylvania and able to travel with my dog, who is dog/cat tolerant & house trained, to you for 2-3 day weekend stays within 5 hours of Lancaster,PA.
About: Familiar with Shih Tzu & other small dog/cat care, follows directions easily, dependable, punctual, assertive, effective, kind, playful, & can build trust with animals quickly! I take care of my family Shih Tzu daily and have cared for our late Domestic Longhair cat; as well as my sister’s Australian Labradoodle, her long-haired kitty, and my Aunt’s 3 Italian Greyhounds on occasion. I’ve also had experience watching a Westie and other larger Labradoodles. Pet care comes naturally and second-nature as I’ve had pets in my home all my life. “We were desperate last minute for someone to watch our dog on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We reached out to Lydianis and her husband Alex on Rover. They were very quick to respond and continued with good communication throughout the entire time they had my dog. They took the time, at a very busy time of year, to meet us on the Sunday before at a local park and introduced their beautiful Lab Chase to us. Seeing how well they handled Chase and how understanding they were of Clementine’s intimidation, really eased our minds of my small dog being around a bigger dog and it showed how compassionate these two fun dog loving people are towards their guest dogs and owners. Prior to Clem's stay, they asked all the right questions about how to care for her and what they could do to help with any anxiety, when to feed her how much, etc., We felt very comfortable with them and liked both of them very much!
