They kept me ip to date daily with several pictures and I could see my pets were happy. I had to prolong my trip for unexpected health reasons and D&K were the nicest. They extended the contract and even helped me by buying more food for both animals when it ran out, until I returned to pay them back. I felt they really cared for the well-being of our pets , not just to fulfill an obligation. Over the years, I’ve watched and walked pets for family members, friends, and neighbors, gaining experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. About: Had pets my whole life. I walk all the time and know where to take them and have an SUV with enough room to fit them in. Have 2 children who adore all animals. I have a full time job, Tuesday through Saturday, but I’m usually home around 2-4 pm. I’m available every evening and can stop to let them out during the day because of my job flexibility. I love both ends of the spectrum. I love being active and taking dogs for walk/runs. I also love relaxing and cuddling with them and getting to know what their preferences. Will follow all strict diet rules and keep a very clean house to avoid unwanted eating restrictions.

About: I have been around animals for as long as I can remember, beginning with cats in early childhood. At the age of seven, I got my first dog, which further strengthened my passion for animal care. I later worked at a kennel, where I received hands-on experience and training in many aspects of pet care, including recognizing behavioral cues to better understand animals’ emotions and needs. During my time there, I learned how to administer medications and injections, including insulin for diabetic animals and supplements for those requiring daily care. I also gained experience working with handicapped dogs, including tripod and wheelchair-assisted dogs, as well as animals of various ages. In addition to my professional experience, I personally cared for my own senior dog, which provided me with extensive knowledge and understanding of senior pet care I am currently unemployed, so I am able to take anytime of the day for the next possible two weeks or so. Once I find a job, I will have more strict, set hours that line up with my new job. I have kennel experience which has provided me the training needed to take care of people's fur children while they are away. I also have experience with reactive dogs, as I worked with several of them while working at the kennel, and grew up with one of my own.

They were super quick to respond (on Thanksgiving no less) and were fast to get us set up for home visits 5 days a week. I now have a new foster puppy and they are again coming on the days I have to work and are taking such loving care of my dog. I highly recommend them!!”

About: I I worked with animals at Wyomissing animal Hospital as a kennel tech where I will take care of them after surgery before surgery while they’re ill on boarding, I would walk them feed them medicate them if needed. I also worked at leesport pet resort where I would walk animals I have experience with cats, dogs, large, and small breed I do take care of my grandchildren in the morning, so pet care fits into my schedule as I am very flexible. I worked at why missing animal Hospital in the kennel as a kennel technician I used to take care of the animals and their surgery and gave medication as needed. Also walked at dogs took care of the cats before and after surgery as well. I will be walking dogs at my home. I live on a farm so they will be kept on leash and all times when the outside and being walked in exercise daily not just for a potty break. Also in the client’s home I would go in let them out walk them take care of them give them medication if they are needed to have medication throughout the day.

About: I have been helping care for our dogs my entire life but I’m really only counting since I was 10. I’m not sure if I would count earlier as helping lol. I would dog sit for family, friends, and coworkers too. I always make sure they are happy and feed. Along with making sure all their energy is out too. I will follow all food instructions that they have. I have given dogs pills before if they require them. I have limited experience with both elderly dogs and puppies, however I am willing to learn what they will need from me. I do work full time but I have an hour lunch where I can run back to let them out. I work from 8-4 so if they don’t need to be let out during the day I will let them out immediately once I get back. I do not do much on the weekends so weekends will be spent with furry friends. I will care for your pet in your home and make it as close as to their routine as possible. I have walked dogs on a leash and have good control. If they do not eat human food they will not be given human food. I always stick to the portions that I am told when feeding them too. If I have a concern about one of the furry friends I will contact you immediately to see what you would like me to do.

About: I have been caring for animals of all kinds since I was a child, but professionally for almost 8 years now! I have experience with all sorts of animals, most commonly dogs though! I have extensive experience with senior pets, puppies, and disabled pets. I am always available and dedicate my time to making the experience great for your pet while you're away. I currently work from home and make my own hours, so my availability is completely open! I can work around whatever hours you need and I am available for long periods of time as well. My home is very animal friendly! I do have crates available for pets that need to be crated, however since I am home almost all of the time- it's rarely necessary! I do not have a fenced in yard, but I have a very big plot of land in the back that we can walk around and play on!
