“This was perfect for what I needed. We had no local friends or family that could take our cat. We were going to be away but he couldn't be at the house because we were having work done on it while we were gone. They took our cat into their home. I was surprised to see they had other cats when I arrived. But one question on the survey was if your pet does well with other cats, which he does, but cats tend to not be friendly with new cats initially so I was a bit worried they'd fight, but they had a separate area, a sun room that they allowed Sox to adjust in and during the week they had sent pictures of him being inside the home on the couch so obviously it was fine. I actually never met or dealt with Sarah only her Mom. Which I felt was odd. I was expecting the person pictured, the person I paid. Her Mom was lovely and clearly there were no issues and my cat was returned safely to me, I just felt it was odd the Sarah was sleeping or "resting because she works a lot" both times I was there. I didn't take any stars off my review for that, because again the service accomplished what I needed which was my cat to be cared for outside of my home.”

About: Had pets my whole life. I walk all the time and know where to take them and have an SUV with enough room to fit them in. Have 2 children who adore all animals. I have a full time job, Tuesday through Saturday, but I’m usually home around 2-4 pm. I’m available every evening and can stop to let them out during the day because of my job flexibility. I love both ends of the spectrum. I love being active and taking dogs for walk/runs. I also love relaxing and cuddling with them and getting to know what their preferences. About: Although I have had cats throughout my life, I always considered myself more of a dog person. Over time, however, my experiences have led me to appreciate both cats and dogs equally. I currently own four cats, including a former stray mother cat named Jasmine, who gave birth to her kittens in my apartment. After caring for the litter, we were able to find homes for four of the kittens and ultimately decided to keep one along with Jasmine. I also have my own cat Clemtine who I've had since 2022 and Pennywise, who is my friend's cat who sadly passed away. About: We’re happy to follow any specific instructions you have for caring for your pets while they’re with us. If your animals are staying in our home, they’ll have access to a spacious yard where dogs can play and run freely. We also have a small dog and a cat who are well-socialized and have done well with other animals during previous stays. However, if any pets need to be separated for comfort or safety, our home is set up to accommodate that easily and without stress. Our main services include boards and drop ins. We also offer house sitting services; however, please note that we are not available for overnight stays at this time. I am great with late nights as my shifts end at 3AM I am respectful entering my clients home and willing to follow any instructions provided to me. If I am ever unsure about anything I will contact my client to ensure I’m giving their pets proper care.

About: Familiar with Shih Tzu & other small dog/cat care, follows directions easily, dependable, punctual, assertive, effective, kind, playful, & can build trust with animals quickly! I take care of my family Shih Tzu daily and have cared for our late Domestic Longhair cat; as well as my sister’s Australian Labradoodle, her long-haired kitty, and my Aunt’s 3 Italian Greyhounds on occasion. I’ve also had experience watching a Westie and other larger Labradoodles. Pet care comes naturally and second-nature as I’ve had pets in my home all my life. From dogs, cats, fish, frogs, hermit crabs, etc. I’ve learned how to look after plenty of life through the years.

About: I have grown up my whole life with animals. From little critters in cages to many dogs and cats. As a animal lover, I strive to give every animal the best life they can have. I take pride in teaching my own children and others just how special animals are and how to treat them with respect, tenderness, and correctly. We are a small family with 3 children, 5,6, and 17. I work part time night and spend most days around the house. My husband is currently a stay at home dad and spends his days at home as well. All of our children are in school so our house is empty and quiet for a good part of the day. We do not have a fenced in yard so leashes are required, but we do have a gated porch for extra security for sneaky ones. We do have 2 dogs and a cat. Both dogs are in their maturing years and spends most days and night sleeping somewhere. They are friendly and love meeting new friends, but we do have gates through the house if needed, as well as crates. Our cat is friendly but quite antisocial, and is unseen most days. We do have children, but all have been taught since a young age how to be kind and careful with animals. They have learned to respect boundaries as not all animals are the same.

“Amanda was very nice, it appeared she was kind to him, and Tweety seemed to be happy with his stay with Amanda and her family. The living quarters were nice and they were clean. She understood all my concerns and why I had them. I feel she is a good fit for Tweety and I. I feel comfortable with another visit. I feel much better today (December 2, 2025) since I was able get out and relax. This was a first for me getting out for a day and doing something for myself. Tweety seemed to be happy with the experience he had with Amanda and her family.”

“We were desperate last minute for someone to watch our dog on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We reached out to Lydianis and her husband Alex on Rover. They were very quick to respond and continued with good communication throughout the entire time they had my dog. They took the time, at a very busy time of year, to meet us on the Sunday before at a local park and introduced their beautiful Lab Chase to us. Seeing how well they handled Chase and how understanding they were of Clementine’s intimidation, really eased our minds of my small dog being around a bigger dog and it showed how compassionate these two fun dog loving people are towards their guest dogs and owners. Prior to Clem's stay, they asked all the right questions about how to care for her and what they could do to help with any anxiety, when to feed her how much, etc., We felt very comfortable with them and liked both of them very much! We will definitely be calling again to have them watch our little fur baby!”
