“This was perfect for what I needed. We had no local friends or family that could take our cat. We were going to be away but he couldn't be at the house because we were having work done on it while we were gone. They took our cat into their home. I was surprised to see they had other cats when I arrived. But one question on the survey was if your pet does well with other cats, which he does, but cats tend to not be friendly with new cats initially so I was a bit worried they'd fight, but they had a separate area, a sun room that they allowed Sox to adjust in and during the week they had sent pictures of him being inside the home on the couch so obviously it was fine. I actually never met or dealt with Sarah only her Mom. Which I felt was odd. I was expecting the person pictured, the person I paid. Her Mom was lovely and clearly there were no issues and my cat was returned safely to me, I just felt it was odd the Sarah was sleeping or "resting because she works a lot" both times I was there. I didn't take any stars off my review for that, because again the service accomplished what I needed which was my cat to be cared for outside of my home.”

About: I’ve taken care of lots of animals including dogs for over 13 years! In addition to caring for my own animals, I have been relied on by others to care for their pets as well. I consistently work on training with both my dog and cat. Currently, my dog Nani is learning to search for edible mushrooms on our hikes! About: We’re happy to follow any specific instructions you have for caring for your pets while they’re with us. If your animals are staying in our home, they’ll have access to a spacious yard where dogs can play and run freely. We also have a small dog and a cat who are well-socialized and have done well with other animals during previous stays. However, if any pets need to be separated for comfort or safety, our home is set up to accommodate that easily and without stress. Our main services include boards and drop ins. We also offer house sitting services; however, please note that we are not available for overnight stays at this time. About: I've had dogs in my life since I was in my 20s. I have crate and potty trained all my dogs. I have patience and compassion for dogs. I would often meet up with friends and family at house party gathering and dog park gatherings to socialize my dogs and to show them love, companionship, and that they are a member of the family not only a pet. I've kept and cared for dogs until there dying age and paid for there cremation. I am indeed a dog loving person. I am currently taking care of my mom who has dementia 24/7 and I am home with her all day. The only days I'm out the house is when my mom or myself have a doctor's appointment. The time I have during the day, I can do dog walks and drop by to feed and let your dog out to your yard. I currently have a chiwawa mix dog name Romeo and he is fed, taken out for walks and sleeps on my sofa everyday. He is encouraged to play, fetch and have treats as rewards. He is shown love everyday and has all his shots and vet visits up to date.

About: I have years of experience. i have had animals all my life and have taken care of all different kinds - turtles, sugar gliders, rabbits, ferrets, lizards, cats and dogs. i have had to take care of senior dogs, and of dogs that needed medications everyday for either seizures or for pain due to being hit by a car. Currently my partner and I have two rescue dogs and three rescue cats from the farm. Our clients animals will be completely separated from our animals in their own cozy room!
About: I've owned and cared for pets of all sorts, as well as show and farm animals, since I was a small child. I love them all and they all usually love me, even the one's people say don't like men/people. I'm also big and boisterous, equating to perfect (but kind) dominance and control, as well as capabilities the average person might not be able to do, like separating dog fights or controlling unruly large animals. I'm currently self-employeed and can craft my schedule at will to fit any needs! Available for walks, sitting, overnight boarding, and pop in visits at all times. I have 3 dogs, 6 cats, and a frog. About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life - from energetic doodles to gentle seniors. Growing up, my family had 3 Italian Greyhounds, 2 Labradoodles, 1 Goldendoodle, 1 Bernedoodle and a Catahoula Leopard so I am comfortable with all sizes and personalities! I also have experience caring for dogs with medical needs, including giving seizures, giving medication, separation anxiety and maintaining consistent routines. I know how important it is to provide calm, attentive care and make pets feel safe and loved while their people are away! My schedule is very open and flexible for pet care! I’m available most days and can easily adjust my routine around each pets need- whether that’s early morning walks, middays visits or evening cuddles. I am also available for weekend care and overnight stays so your pup always has company and consistency while you’re away. When I visit or stay in a clients home, I treat it - and their pets - with total care and respect, I follow your exact instructions for feeding, walks and routines so your pet feels secure in their own environment. About: With a lifetime of experience caring for dogs, cats, and various small animals, I'm well-prepared to look after your beloved pet. As a current owner of two dogs(cockapoo and pitbull), five cats, and two guinea pigs, I'm comfortable with senior pets, administering medications (even to picky eaters!), and doing whatever it takes to ensure your peace of mind while you're away. I currently work a full time job with a block schedule so I know my availability ahead of time. Even on the days I work I am willing to stop by before and/or after work. I am great with late nights as my shifts end at 3AM I am respectful entering my clients home and willing to follow any instructions provided to me. If I am ever unsure about anything I will contact my client to ensure I’m giving their pets proper care.

About: I have loved animals my whole life. I’ve owned a Guinea pig, cockatiel, and two dogs. I have experience taking care of animals of all shapes and sizes, including dogs, cats, rabbits, and even some farm animals at Lancaster Farm Sanctuary. I also volunteered at a dog shelter in Philadelphia during college, so I have experience working with more timid and difficult animals. I am skilled in reading animal body language and excited to meet your pet! I currently have a part time job, so I will have plenty of time to care for your pets. About: Familiar with Shih Tzu & other small dog/cat care, follows directions easily, dependable, punctual, assertive, effective, kind, playful, & can build trust with animals quickly! I take care of my family Shih Tzu daily and have cared for our late Domestic Longhair cat; as well as my sister’s Australian Labradoodle, her long-haired kitty, and my Aunt’s 3 Italian Greyhounds on occasion. I’ve also had experience watching a Westie and other larger Labradoodles. Pet care comes naturally and second-nature as I’ve had pets in my home all my life. For me, good communication begins before your pet comes under my care, as I love to get as much information about you and your pet right off the bat! During the stay, I like to send regular updates with accompanying pictures, so you can see just how well your pet is doing while you’re away. In addition to pictures, I like to send detailed information on anything you need to feel in the loop—from behaviors to meals to exercise times. Going the extra mile is just what I do best! *For house pet sitting, I am a currently working in Pennsylvania and able to travel with my dog, who is dog/cat tolerant & house trained, to you for 2-3 day weekend stays within 5 hours of Lancaster,PA.
