About: I have been taking care of friends and family pets as well as my own for over 10 years. I also have basic veterinary care experience from working at vet offices/boarding kennels and can give medications upon request. I am currently working 10 hour days at a veterinary hospital in Reading Monday and Wed-Fri and in college part-time, but i have plenty of time to take care of your furry friends. Please allow a 1 hour travel window for me to arrive after I get off work. I have a fenced in yard for our animals and all have been leash, e-collar, recall, and crate trained and I can follow any specific requests to the best of my availability.

About: Had pets my whole life. I walk all the time and know where to take them and have an SUV with enough room to fit them in. Have 2 children who adore all animals. I have a full time job, Tuesday through Saturday, but I’m usually home around 2-4 pm. I’m available every evening and can stop to let them out during the day because of my job flexibility. I love both ends of the spectrum. I love being active and taking dogs for walk/runs. I also love relaxing and cuddling with them and getting to know what their preferences. Will follow all strict diet rules and keep a very clean house to avoid unwanted eating restrictions.

About: I’ve taken care of lots of animals including dogs for over 13 years! In addition to caring for my own animals, I have been relied on by others to care for their pets as well. I consistently work on training with both my dog and cat. Currently, my dog Nani is learning to search for edible mushrooms on our hikes! I work remotely and make my own schedule so I have lots of flexibility/availability throughout the week! My work allows me to take time during the day to go on walks or to work on training/socializing as needed. I have my own friendly dog and cat who are very active. We go on lots of walks and play throughout the day. My focus is creating healthy stimulation and activities for our pets.

About: I’ve taken care of cats since I was a kid, but also have experience with caring for other animals as well. Small and medium sized dogs, fish, you name it! I currently work as a teacher in Lancaster County, and live in Lebanon County. My schedule is somewhat limited during the day due to teaching, but during the school year I have much more flexibility in the evenings and on the weekends. Additionally, during the summer break my availability is MUCH more open! I live in an apartment complex, so I am not able to bring other pets into my apartment. I however take safety of animals into high consideration when in the owner’s space. I am sure to treat the animal as if they are my own by keeping their safety and happiness a top priority

They kept me ip to date daily with several pictures and I could see my pets were happy. I had to prolong my trip for unexpected health reasons and D&K were the nicest. They extended the contract and even helped me by buying more food for both animals when it ran out, until I returned to pay them back. I felt they really cared for the well-being of our pets , not just to fulfill an obligation. That’s why I’m here: to make that time away as worry free and easy as possible! Friends aren’t always around to help out, and no one likes to stick their pups in a kennel. When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet in-person or video call. No one knows your pet better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pet tick! Finally, me and Rosie love meeting new dogs and cats! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. I believe that the cornerstone of any good stay is communication. For me, good communication begins before your pet comes under my care, as I love to get as much information about you and your pet right off the bat! Getting a good idea about your care expectations is just as important as learning about what makes your pup tick. With that information in mind, I like to start thinking as early as possible about what a dream stay would be! During the stay, I like to send regular updates with accompanying pictures, so you can see just how well your pet is doing while you’re away. In addition to pictures, I like to send detailed information on anything you need to feel in the loop—from behaviors to meals to exercise times. Going the extra mile is just what I do best! *For house pet sitting, I am a currently working in Pennsylvania and able to travel with my dog, who is dog/cat tolerant & house trained, to you for 2-3 day weekend stays within 5 hours of Lancaster,PA.
