About: I have been around animals for as long as I can remember, beginning with cats in early childhood. At the age of seven, I got my first dog, which further strengthened my passion for animal care. I later worked at a kennel, where I received hands-on experience and training in many aspects of pet care, including recognizing behavioral cues to better understand animals’ emotions and needs. During my time there, I learned how to administer medications and injections, including insulin for diabetic animals and supplements for those requiring daily care. I also gained experience working with handicapped dogs, including tripod and wheelchair-assisted dogs, as well as animals of various ages. In addition to my professional experience, I personally cared for my own senior dog, which provided me with extensive knowledge and understanding of senior pet care I am currently unemployed, so I am able to take anytime of the day for the next possible two weeks or so. Once I find a job, I will have more strict, set hours that line up with my new job. I have kennel experience which has provided me the training needed to take care of people's fur children while they are away. I also have experience with reactive dogs, as I worked with several of them while working at the kennel, and grew up with one of my own.

“I was not sure about leaving my dog with a stranger especially since it was short notice and Melanie did know Ace my golden retriever. It turned out to be a good experience. Melanie arranged a visit for a meet and it was obvious that she could handle Ace even though his 80 pounds was very excited when they met. No issues. I would recommend Melanie”

About: I have been taking care of friends and family pets as well as my own for over 10 years. I also have basic veterinary care experience from working at vet offices/boarding kennels and can give medications upon request. I am currently working 10 hour days at a veterinary hospital in Reading Monday and Wed-Fri and in college part-time, but i have plenty of time to take care of your furry friends. Please allow a 1 hour travel window for me to arrive after I get off work. I have a fenced in yard for our animals and all have been leash, e-collar, recall, and crate trained and I can follow any specific requests to the best of my availability.

About: I have grown up having dogs in my life, as well as the luxury of being able to watch friends and families pets over the past 3 years. I have experience with not only dogs, but cats as well. I'm also experienced with watching multiple dogs at the same time. Because I work from home, I'm able to work anywhere, which has always come in handy. Currently I'm not able to have dogs of my own, because of my apartment, but the goal is to find a place that will allow me to have my own fur baby. About: Had pets my whole life. I walk all the time and know where to take them and have an SUV with enough room to fit them in. Have 2 children who adore all animals. I have a full time job, Tuesday through Saturday, but I’m usually home around 2-4 pm. I’m available every evening and can stop to let them out during the day because of my job flexibility. I love both ends of the spectrum. I love being active and taking dogs for walk/runs. I also love relaxing and cuddling with them and getting to know what their preferences. Will follow all strict diet rules and keep a very clean house to avoid unwanted eating restrictions.
