About: Vet assistant/tech 3 yrs Current ER veterinary clinic position Cat Cafe/Animal shelter volunteer Animal science student Experience with exotics, cats, dogs, avian, equine, swine Loving, eager, patient, attentive, determined, nurturing. I AM VERY FLEXIBLE! Please contact me and we can always figure something out :) … Caring for pets is something I do every day—whether they’re mine, a loved one’s, or part of my job. It’s not just a task on my to-do list; it’s a part of who I am. Because of that, it naturally fits into my schedule and remains very flexible. Every animal is special in its own way, and the moment I am given the privilege to care for a pet, I treat it as if it were my own. Pets are part of the family and should be treated with the same love and respect! With a nurturing spirit and a genuine passion for animals, I see caring for a pet as both a privilege and a source of joy.

About: I've been taking care of dogs and cats ever since I was little, though it was mainly on and off. Even still, I have a lot of experience when it comes to dealing with the various behaviors dogs or cats like to exhibit. I can be very patient if your pet if they seem to be shy, or I can play with them all day if they just have WAY too much energy. I'm adaptable and can cater to whatever your pet desires. My main form of transportation is the bus. I work just about all day from Monday-Friday every week. I'm only available on Saturday and Sunday, but it will be for the entire day. I may have to do work on my laptop, however. I will be taking the bus everywhere I go. I cannot have pets inside my own home, so I have no choice but to travel to someone else's in order to pet sit. I care for pets by usually just letting them travel wherever they want inside the house, feeding them, when need be, and playing with them whenever they desire.

About: Hi, I’m Tariq! My passion for dog-sitting began back in high school when I started helping out friends and neighbors with their pets. Over the years, that casual help turned into something I genuinely enjoy and take pride in. As a collegiate basketball player, my schedule keeps me busy during the season, but from spring through summer, I have the flexibility to dedicate my time to caring for dogs. During these months, I’ve made pet sitting a rewarding side hustle—not just for the income, but because I truly enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they're comfortable, safe, and happy while their owners are away. Joining Rover felt like the natural next step. It allows me to combine my reliability, discipline as an athlete, and love for animals into a service people can count on. Whether your dog needs a few hours of company, or overnight care, I’m here to help give them the same level of attention and affection I’d give my own pet. My daily routine typically wraps up by 2 PM, giving me plenty of flexibility for pet care. I usually start my mornings around 9 AM with a gym session, followed by basketball training. By early afternoon, I’m back home, showered, and recharged—leaving the rest of my day open and available for dog walks, drop-ins, or extended sitting. I’m reliable, punctual, and able to adjust to your pet’s schedule with ease. I used to have a dog of my own, and caring for her came naturally. Sadly, she’s no longer with us, but the experience taught me a lot about daily care and attentiveness. I have a spacious backyard that’s great for play and exercise, along with a nearby walking path that's perfect for regular walks. When I had my dog, I typically walked her two to three times a day—adjusting based on her age and energy level. In addition to daily play, feeding, and companionship, I also administered ear medication when needed, so I'm comfortable handling basic medical needs or special instructions. Overall, providing a safe, active, and loving environment is something I take seriously and genuinely enjoy.

About: Always putting the pets and owners needs first! I try to go above and beyond and will always listen to instructions. I am here to facilitate taking care of your precious one I am flexible in the mornings and nighttime and some afternoons as I work from home most days! I am able to care for your precious one and very accomodating I follow instructions given to me by the client and respecting the pets space and understanding their needs! I always want the best care and treat them as if they were my own

“Ashley was great with our kitties! She even managed to get pictures of them - and they are very shy around people they don't know. I felt very relieved that Ashley was taking care of things while we were away!”

“Jenna took such wonderful care in her drop in visits for our two cats while we were away! One of our cats can be very shy yet he warmed up to her right away. She goes above and beyond with communication- we always knew when she was visiting and leaving and received a detailed note each visit with lots of pictures. These daily updates really helped us to feel at ease and to know they were in good hands.”

About: I’ve owned 5 dogs, 2 labs, a shetland sheepdog, a boxer German Shepard mix, and a beagle. I am experienced with senior pets as well as puppies. I take care of my aunts and uncles pets when they go away. I am very comfortable with walking multiple dogs at the same time and can handle tiring out active breeds. Currently I’m preparing to go back to school and working out for sports. So I have plenty time to check up on your pets and make sure that they taken care of! Typically depending on what my clients I will either let the dog play in the back yard or I will take them on a walk. That is also dependent on the breed. With more energetic breeds I will take them on a long walk or run and with others I can let them run in the back yard and play with them.

“Gracie watched our two corgis for a week while we were on vacation. She was very professional and came over twice to meet the pups before we left, because it was her first time with them and we usually have family watch them. We received a nice update with pictures each time she came to feed and walk them. They always looked so happy! We felt very comfortable with her and our dogs loved her. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again or recommend to anyone.”
