About: My introduction to working with animals started when I became a sitter/walker in my free time during college. In addition to having my own pets- both cats and dogs, I have over four years of experience working with dogs as a groomer. It is safe to say I am an animal lover that treats any baby in my care like they’re my own. Whatever special care your fur baby may need, I am willing to provide! I am currently taking time off so I have open availability for drop-in visits and walks! I have availability for early morning walks/visits as well. About: I’ve grown up w/ dogs all my life! I’ve had 2 of my own that have unfortunately passed & although I’m not emotionally ready to take in another dog fully, I thought this would be the perfect situation for me! I have a backyard w/ fence for them to play & run around, enough space inside my house for them to have their own back room, love going on walks around the neighborhood! I’m currently employed full time, work 3 days/12hr shifts a week so I have time during the week & weekends to play w/ your baby! I have a backyard that is fenced & there’s one small dog that’s always downstairs (sister in law lives in basement, owns dog) but if the dog I’m sitting is friendly they have a friend they can play with! Also have an empty back room that has a gate that dog can have room to relax in!

About: I haven’t taken care of dogs professionally but I have always had a deep love for dogs. I have owned an American Bully and English Bulldog on my own and have had multiple family dogs growing up. Having my own dogs, I have gone through the process of training two different types of temperaments and am looking forward to engaging/learning about more! I currently work from home as an accountant M-F. I have the flexibility to leave and return as needed. I could take my laptop if I needed to be around for an extended amount of time. Otherwise, I have the ability to use my flexibility to be present. I have an open living room setup and an English bulldog of my own to keep them company as well. We go on multiple walks a day and I make sure to try and exert the energy of whatever dog I am with at the time (so they don’t have much time to miss their parents 😂). I have room to crate the dogs if needed and also a pet camera that helps with monitoring.

About: Ive had family dogs since I was born. Looking to make some extra money while I’m in school. Don’t mind if the dogs pull a lot/ reactive, just need a warning. I’m in school so I’m really only available all day for Saturday and Sunday but other days can work for one walk depending on the time. I would walk them and feed them. I have to study so I don’t mind hanging out at the house/apt in between walks.
About: Hi! I personally have two Labrador Retrievers that are very energetic and lovable. My husband and I raised them both from puppies. I absolutely love dogs and caring for them. My family and friends also rely me to babysit and check in with their fur babies as well. Nothing would make me happier than to come and check in on your pup and spend a little bit of time with them! If it’s some playtime in a fenced in yard, taking fur babies for a walk, making sure they are crated appropriately, cleaning up accidents, whatever their specific needs are with feeding, I am comfortable accommodating.

She really likes to connect with her clients and we are genuinely so grateful she could accommodate us last minute. Susan is a lifesaver!
Stephanie did an amazing taking care of our 4 kitties. As kitty parents know every kitty has such a unique personality; ours are no different. With ages ranging from 1 1/2 to 17 they each got individual attention during her visits. We felt very comfortable leaving our oldest who has CKD & requires medication under her care. Even our 8 year old Bella who typically hides during sitter visits came out for some love & pets.
We can’t recommend Garrison highly enough! He was incredibly conscientious and kind, taking the time to understand our bunnies’ routines and needs before we left. Each day, he spent an hour with them—snuggling, feeding them exactly to our specifications, and making sure they were safe and happy. He also treated our home with great care, responsibly using our security system and even cleaning up after the bunnies. Garrison was friendly, punctual, and kept us updated with adorable pictures. We felt completely at ease knowing our bunnies were in such capable, caring hands. A truly wonderful sitter—highly recommend!

Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
