“Laura was a fantastic dog sitter! She was flexible with scheduling pick up/drop off, sent an update with a photo, and our pup seemed to have a great time with her. We will definitely use her services again!”

“The fact that Courtney is a vet was one of the reasons I reached out to see if she was able to watch Sunny for a weekend while I was out of town due to how anxious she can get. Let me tell you, she did not disappoint. During the meet and greet, she asked about emergency vet info and offered her office as an option for urgent but non-emergency situations since I don’t have a primary emergency vet. She was aware of Sunny’s needs while she was there. Courtney also kept great communication and sent lots of videos and pics during her stay. I would 10/10 recommend her and will definitely be booking services with her again when the time comes!”

“Candace is wonderful! It was obvious she has an affection for dogs as soon as we, and our Boston, met her. She has lots of room for running and playing. She sent pictures several times showing how comfortable Pru was at her home. She took great care of her "houseguest". I have no reservations about recommending her, and we will definitely use her again when we are in the area.”

“Latoya was really amazing in taking care of Madison. It was our first time with Latoya and I know we made the right decision the whole time was totally stress free. She took an excellent care of our pup and she sends us pictures and videos everyday. Madison was at home and comfortable with her care the whole time. We are definitely going back for her services the next time.”

“Claudia was absolutely fantastic! She sent frequent updates with pictures and was super caring. I could tell that she has a true passion for animals when I first met her. Everything worked out so easily that I had no cares leaving my dog behind. I will be using her again for sure. Thanks Claudia!!!!”

“Lindsey took care of Sydney for a night. When I was there to drop off, the kids and the family welcomed Sydney and made her comfortable. Lindsey provided frequent updates which I greatly appreciate. Sydney had a great stay at Lindsey's.”

“Rita is a fantastic person to trust with your dog. She clearly cares and loves all of the dogs she watches. She kept me updated throughout the entire stay with pictures and videos. I would recommend Rita to anyone looking for dog sitting needs!”

“We are new to the area and we’ve always had friends or family watch our pups. This was the first time we needed to use Rover. Nancy gave us a great first experience and I’m so glad we have someone we can trust to leave our pups with if we ever need to board again! She asked great questions to get to know our pups before us dropping them off and she kept us up to date everyday with plenty of pics and videos. Nancy was very responsive as well. We will certainly be reaching out to her for future needs. Thanks again Nancy!”

“Elizabeth was great! She sent plenty of updates during our dog’s stay, which was greatly appreciated and followed all instructions when it came to him. She was also super sweet and her family was just as sweet, we felt very comfortable leaving Meechie with her.”

“I searched for several months and many places looking for the right home-away-from-home for our dog, who has separation anxiety issues and is used to being with his people 24/7. Kelly put me at ease and I immediately felt that my dog was in a good place and would be well cared for. So thankful to have found Kelly!”

“Chyann, was an amazing sitter for my baby. Beanie stayed with her for a week and throughout the entire stay she kept me updated with pictures and insight into how he was doing. She’s one of the more informed sitters on this platform and following our meet-and-greet I was completely sold on choosing her as a sitter. With the updates, smooth transition for drop-off, and Chyann’s warm personality I was completely at ease and confident throughout the boarding process. I’d definitely recommend choosing Chyann!”

“Totiyana is so patient and caring! Our Blu is a big ball of energy, especially around other dogs but she could handle him. Will definitely be using her services again! Thank you!”

“We've used Barbra twice now and she's been just wonderful with our anxious, timid dog. She's excellent with communication and providing photo updates. I can tell Charlie enjoys his time there and I would highly recommend her!”

“I was really nervous about leaving my husky for a week. After meeting with Justin I was more at ease..till drop off day..then it all hit..Justin kept reassuring me that stratus would be fine and I felt better..but when I got the 1st update and I saw him playing with other pups and that goofy husky tongue hanging I knew he was ok. Justin and Stephanie were great with pupdates and communicated throughout the stay. If I messaged they were quick to respond. My boy came home happy healthy and I would recommend Justin to anyone. They provided pictures and messages. I was at ease knowing he was well taken care of. Will be using again as we do have a couple more trips planned”

“Our pup loved her week long stay with Adriene. She had so much fun and actually didn’t want to leave Adriene’s house when we came back from vacation lol. The communication was great, we got plenty of updates and pictures of our pup during her stay. Highly recommend”

It was our first experience with Rover and we will absolutely be asking her to come back and hang with Kitty when we go away! About: 🛑 PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING🛑: I own 2 cats. Even though my Cats have their own room your dogs must be ok with or have been around cats and knows basic commands. If your dog is medium or large size you MUST bring a cage. I will only use the cage for when I'm at work and I need to let the cats out their room. But when i'm home the dogs have free range even on my bed 😂 Before 2021: I've been pet sitting/walking for friends/neighbors for 5 years & on certain occasions I've been a dog/cat boarder for them, but I've been a dog walker for 5.5 years. 2 of the recurring dogs that I pet sit has had health issues, so I'm able to follow strict instructions given by the owners to take care of their pets in the best way possible whether it's just for a walk or pet sitting. UPDATE JULY 2025: Sorry to any specific owners but unless you are one of the 4 clients I've had since age 20, I will NOT be pet sitting/dropping in on CERTAIN snakes and ALL spiders. My soul will leave my body. The only reason why that is, is because I have a good rapport with the 4 clients and known some of their snakes since they were either in an egg or as a baby so I know their temperament . I'm okay with other reptiles, certain snakes, & pet birds. Some examples are Bearded dragons, geckos, chameleons, Iguanas, African Egg-Eating Snake, Western Hognose, Children’s python, Kenyan sand and Rosy boa. DM for list since there's a caption limit. UPDATE JULY 2025: Depending on my boss I work from Mon-Wed 11pm-7/7:30am, Fri-Sun 6pm-2am, off days maybe Tuesday (after 7:30am), Thursday & sometimes Friday. I will communicate if I happen to work a double or if I'm late since I have to rely on other coworkers to relieve me from my shift. Due to work I will not be petting sitting pets that can't stay alone for more 4-6hrs anymore. But if you need drop-ins for your pets medicine time especially for some of my older clients on all the apps I've been on I remember I will gladly do that when I have time. This is mostly for the cats and small dogs I might be open for boarding. I do own two cats they are up to date with their shots. I know how they react to other cats since I had them for a year, but as for dogs I'm not too sure until I get my own dog. Also, for the most part my yard is fenced is just one side of the fence has not been fully fixed yet so when we are outside in the yard they will be on harnesses for the cats and dogs since I will be outside with them. I also have a an in ground pool that's covered. Also, there's a mix of stray and outdoor cats in my neighborhood and for some, they like to hang out in my front and backyard (they do get in from the broken side of the fence). Mainly for shelter underneath my porch since it's elevated and hides them from this ungodly heat. Plus it doesn't help that me, my dad and my neighbors, do occasionally feed them if we notice that they get too skinny and one of other neighbors bought one of those insulated and heated shelters for the cats to stay in during the winter last year. Fun fact that's how I ended up with my 2nd cat as pet.
“Falon is THE BEST! You are missing out if you don’t book with her. She is great at communication, being flexible and following instructions. She is also amazing at caring for your fur babies (and sending pictures!). My cat was very happy and well cared for! She was my first time Rover and set the bar high!”

“Coleen was efficient in her care of my two cats. She cleaned up well of them adding fresh water, providing them with their daily food, cleaned their eating area, as well as bringing in our mail. She did daily updates of how my cats had been taken and sent Rover cards each day. She did a wonderful job and I would recommend using her services.”

“Sunaina was great with Loki! He had such a great time with her and her family. She sent us many pictures and updates periodically of him during his time with them. About: I’m a devout animal lover with two dogs of my own and one cat. Caring for animals is truly one of my favorite joys in life! My ultimate goal is to give your dog a home away from home when they’re in my care. My senior dog recently passed from a rare lung cancer so I’m experienced in delivering oral medication, round the clock care and attention, and moving at their pace. Your baby will be well taken care of. I work remote so I am able to give your dog lots of love and attention throughout the day. Your dog will be able to take potty breaks every two hours in the fenced-in yard and spend time outside. We typically go for walks in the early morning and late evening. My Rover calendar is updated daily so that I can support any urgent needs, when available. Boarding & Daycare: My ultimate goal is to give your dog a home away from home! I only board one dog at a time so that I can give them adequate, individualized attention all throughout the day. You will not find a sitter in Wilmington that is as attentive as I am. My pets are kept separate during boarding. Your dog will have access to the entire first floor and the fenced in-backyard. I have a dedicated bedroom for boarding where I can sleep with dogs who may have separation anxiety to ensure they are comfortable. Drop-in visits & Walks: I‘ll take my time getting to know your dog and make sure they’re comfortable with me being there. I like to sit with them for a few minutes before and after each walk to feel out their energy levels. On walks, I recognize that this is their social time so I go at their pace and let them get plenty of sniff time. I am very respectful of your home and will follow your instructions closely.
“Susan is awesome! Mocha had a wonderful time. I really appreciated the updates throughout the day. Susan was very flexible which helped me tremendously. Mocha can’t wait until her next visit!!”

“Super thankful for Olivia! We’re so happy we found her! It’s been a challenging journey to find the doggy day care for our 11 week pup. When we finally found Olivia, she allowed us to have an informal interview with her which we were super thankful for because for some reason some sitters on here finds that offensive (?). She welcomed us into her gorgeous home and”
About: I’ve cared for the pets of friends and family for many years, and I’d love to offer my help with your precious friends too! I currently have a Bassett hound/springer spaniel mix named Moody Blues, but enjoy dogs of all sizes and even the sassiest cats! This is currently my main job, so ensuring my flexibility for you is priority! I look forward to working with you to make sure your pets are cared for. I love to visit and take care of friends! For dogs, we can walk, play at home, I can bring Moody Blues if your dog would enjoy visits, and I’m happy to take care of any cleanups or feedings as well. For my cat friends, I’m happy to take care of the same things, with offers of cuddles and lap time in place of the walks for the indoor kitties.
About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with Border Collies and have also adopted several dogs over the years, so I'm comfortable with everything from high-energy working breeds to laid-back companions. I've also volunteered at several shelters, giving me experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, temperaments, and backgrounds. I work from home (as does my wife) so your pet will be getting consistent, attentive care. To be honest, our dog passed away last fall and we are missing the joy of being dog owners and having dogs around, but we need something a little more flexible for the time being. You are getting two sitters for the price of one and we will care for your dog as if they were our own :) As a former dog parent who has used Rover, my goal is to provide exactly what I was looking for each time I booked a walker/sitter: clear communication, limited hassle, and all of the assurances that you can rest easy and not worry...your doggo is in good hands! I work from home and call my own hours (as does my wife) so as long as we know your dog's routine we will make sure to incorporate it into our own. We have a fenced-in yard and a walking path near our home so walks are never a problem (we love walks). My wife and I both work from home so one of us will always be giving your dog attention/supervision. We have previously owned dogs who were flight risks so we have been conditioned to keep an eye out, keep doors closed, etc. We have a big fenced-in yard and have a little indoor gate/fence that we use in the house if need be to secure a hallway, etc.

About: I have experience with every size, breed, and age of dog; I have done everything from watching and housesitting a twelve year old lab from hosting a 2 year old chihuahua. I also have extensive experience looking after feline friends as well, often looking after two or three at a time. Whether your furry friend is missing you and wanting to be clingy and cuddled or is feeling like they want solo alone time, I will accommodate your pets moods and personalities to the best of my ability. Outside of dogs and cats, I have been a small animal lover my whole life and have loved and owned everything from ferrets to rats! I am an MA student at University of Delaware, so while I have a heavy workload, that usually just results in more time at home since homework takes a lot more time than going to class itself. Generally I am only gone for no more than 4-5 hours at a time, but generally less. I can often board any time throughout the week with enough notice. In your home, I would attempt to respect your space to the best of my ability and only go places/do tasks that you explicitly ask me to do. I want you to feel rest-assured that both your pet and your space are in good hands!
“Courtney is the best! She was available to walk my dog last minute and even stopped by for a meet and greet. Great communication. She took him to the park, which he loves. I felt like he was in good hands especially with her background as a vet tech. Thank you!”

About: I grew up with two funny little dogs, Kiwi (a Peekapoo) and Tegan (a Bichon Frisé), whom my mom and I trained from puppies. I’m now the proud cat mom to an orange tabby named Ari! I’m calm, patient, loving, and consistent with animals. I also have experience caring for a senior dog who required daily medication by injection, and I’m happy to provide that same gentle, attentive care for your pets if needed. Whether your pet loves to play, explore, or simply curl up for cuddles, I’m happy to follow their lead and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. :) I have a flexible schedule, so your pet will receive plenty of attention and companionship! I have a flexible schedule and am often available for same-day bookings! Starting in August every Thursday, I will nanny for a wonderful five-month-old baby while also caring for her family’s two dogs and two cats. Outside of Thursdays, my schedule is very open. Because of my flexibility, your pets can receive the time, attention, and consistency they deserve. I keep my availability up to date, communicate promptly, and strive to make every booking reliable, stress-free, and personalized to your pet’s needs. Every pet is unique, so I always begin by following the owner’s instructions and learning their routine. I make sure they have fresh food and water, plenty of potty breaks or a clean litter box, exercise and playtime, and lots of love and attention. I also pay close attention to their behavior to make sure they seem happy, comfortable, and healthy. If medications are needed, I’m happy to administer them as directed. Before I leave, I’ll make sure your pet is settled and I’ll send you an update with photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

About: I’ve spent years caring for and training dogs, including raising and training four Australian Cattle Dogs—a breed known for its intelligence and high energy. Through that experience, I’ve learned how to read canine body language, reinforce good behaviors, and confidently handle dogs with different personalities and energy levels. I’ve also walked dogs for several of my mom’s clients throughout the Hockessin and Wilmington area. My focus is on providing safe, reliable, and personalized care while treating every dog as if they were my own. I am home full-time, which allows me to provide attentive, personalized care throughout the day. Your dog won’t be left alone for long periods and will receive plenty of potty breaks, exercise, playtime, enrichment, and affection. Being home full-time also allows me to closely monitor each dog’s well-being, maintain their routine, and ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Your dog will be cared for like one of my own in a safe, loving home environment. I have a fully fenced 0.6-acre yard where dogs can safely run, play, and explore under supervision. They’ll also have the companionship of my three friendly, well-socialized dogs if they enjoy being around other dogs. Throughout the day, your pet will receive plenty of exercise, potty breaks, playtime, enrichment, and affection. I follow each dog’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medications, and any special instructions, so they feel comfortable, happy, and at home while you’re away.
“Jenni had contacted me to let me know that she was on her way for our dogs’ walk. She took pics of them to show us that she was at our home with the dogs. I had told her about the route the dogs were use to taking and she showed us the map of the route. The dogs were good for her out on the walk. When they got home they were well tired enough and curled up for a nap. I look forward to having Jenni come walk them again!”

“Kara has been extremely helpful with the care of my pups! This is my 3rd time having Kara walk my pups and I will continue to use her in the future! She is great with communication and sends a bunch of pictures! I know my pups are in GREAT care with Kara!”

About: I’ve had dogs in my household since I was 5, meaning I’m skilled in taking care of dogs and am ready for anything they might need. I’ve dogs at for multiple neighbors of the years, and many of those dogs have been old dogs with specific instructions to keep them healthy. I’ve done multiple weeks of overnight care for dogs as well as simple daycare or dog walks for people that need help. I’m currently studying to become a vet and I would love to have the chance to get to know your furry companion! I am open to help out any day of the week as needed. I have a part-time job with schedule hours that change each week, but none of those hours include nighttime’s. I am willing to take your pet even last minute if I am capable. In my home, I make sure to let the dog out first thing in the morning and right before bed to allow them to use the bathroom as needed. In my household I take my dog for a walk around 9 every morning and 5 every night, then feeding him at 6pm. Other food given to him includes a treat in the morning and a couple in the afternoon that I put in his bowl. In between those times, I will spend time with my dog either sitting on the couch together watching tv or playing games.

I am a recent graduate from the University of Delaware. My schedule is pretty flexible this summer, I am extremely communicative & love to care for pets. I live with 2 dogs & 2 cats. The cats & dogs are separated. I am very patient with animals! I am also extremely diligent with their care such as cleaning food/water bowls, scooping poop, changing pee pads, following feeding/medication schedule, and playing with animals.
About: I have had 3 dogs growing up so use to handling multiple at one time. Also my shih tzu that passed had severe skin allergies so I have experience with medical baths and diets. I work from home 3 days a week so home all day MWF, Tuesdays and Thursdays I am in the office but only a 10 min drive away and can walk them during lunch and be back home with your doggo before dinner! I live in a neighborhood with sidewalks and a park, personally have a well sized yard and back deck for lots of outdoor fun! Currently I own 2 guniea pigs but they’re quiet and kept on an elevated surface no dog has been bothered by them before. Lots of toys and 2 beds here to play with but encourage to bring your pet’s favorites here as well.
About: I’ve been enjoying helping my kids care for their dogs and cats creating a strong bond while having so much fun with their dogs and cats. I have a flexible schedule to care for pets while providing a safe environment to stay in and keep to their schedule like their own parents with me. I have a fenced yard under my supervision and have fun playing with my own pets! Any suggestions that your pet needs will be appreciated in order to create a bond and trust while you are not there will be perfect to make your pet’s and your day!
About: My introduction to working with animals started when I became a sitter/walker in my free time during college. In addition to having my own pets- both cats and dogs, I have over four years of experience working with dogs as a groomer. It is safe to say I am an animal lover that treats any baby in my care like they’re my own. Whatever special care your fur baby may need, I am willing to provide! I am currently taking time off so I have open availability for drop-in visits and walks! I have availability for early morning walks/visits as well. It’s important to get to know your fur baby before coming into your home to build trust. Meet & Greets are an important part of getting to know your pet.

Thank you!”

About: I been taking care of dogs for many years. Love taking them on walks/runs. Love seen them run around in the backyard with my own dog. I work 8 hour days but I take them out for walks before I leave and when I come home we ether go outback and play or walk/run. The care a provided is a loving environment. And playful one. I make sure they have thier food on time and plenty of water for after walks and runs.
“My Frenchies are my children: there is nothing more important to me in this world. I have never left them with anyone (Henry almost 2; Sammy 1). I combed Rover for 5 hours over the course of a few days and serendipitously landed on Jen's profile. I was SOLD after our "Meet and Greet." You can just feel how special Jen is when you meet her. Jen was in constant communication with me; staying with her was basically a vacation for my boys; she sent me #allthephotos; she updated me multiple times a day; she made sure my special needs baby got all the special attention he requires; and when I picked the boys up my little Sammy was still watching Jen as we were about to leave. I know that he misses her, and that makes me so happy that she bonded with him that way. Listen. All my future trips - work or professional - will be planned around Jen's availability. Simply put, she is an amazing human being whose passion is caring for animals.”

“I am an overprotective fur mom who is very particular with who puppy sits Dallas. I only trust two of my friends to watch him when I am away. I was going away for a week, and did not have either friend to puppy sit for me at the time. I searched Rover and Olivia was the first name that popped up. I did not want to choose the first person I saw so I kept searching; however something brought me back to Olivia and I’m so happy I did! Olivia‘s knowledge of dogs and care for Dallas was amazing! Dallas did not want to leave Olivia’s home which made me so happy. It made me feel at ease to know Dallas enjoyed his stay and was comfortable with her. I will most definitely use Olivia’s services again!”

“We needed a last minute sitter for our reactive pup and Susan was willing to take her with ease. She sent us pictures of our girl relaxing and being her goofy self throughout her stay. Our little Birdie was right at home with Susan and loved the backyard. We will definitely book with her again!”

“Diane was great & I'd recommend her for your dog sitting needs. Cared for a senior dog with medication needs. Lots of walks! Kept us informed on how our dog was doing. A joy to talk to and was very friendly.”

“Sunaina was kind to take care of my dog. Lots of photos and videos were shared with us which was greatly appreciated. My dog had a great time at their place. Thank you!”

“Awesome service! Above and beyond. My rescue is very skittish and warmed up immediately. Even got used to their dog. My other dog had the time of his life getting to play and go explore new areas on his walks. Made my vacation worry free. 10/10 will book again.”
