Pet care experience

Your pets deserve more than a sitter—they deserve someone trained to recognize when something isn’t right. After earning my B.S. in Animal Science from the University of Delaware, I began my career in veterinary medicine, working as a kennel attendant, veterinary nurse, and ICU technician. I later continued my education through Purdue University’s Veterinary Nursing program. I later continued my education through Purdue University’s Veterinary Nursing program. From energetic puppies to senior companions with arthritis, diabetes, mobility concerns, or medications, I know how to provide calm, attentive care while recognizing subtle changes that many people miss. Whether your companion simply wants belly rubs and long walks or needs specialized medical support, my goal is always the same: To make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while giving you complete peace of mind. I am Fear Free Certified, which means I use low-stress handling techniques designed to reduce anxiety and build trust, especially for nervous or sensitive pets. I intentionally keep a smaller client list so every family receives personalized attention, detailed updates, and dependable communication throughout your trip. When you return home, I want your pet to feel like they simply had a wonderful vacation too. Note: I am also able to care for small mammals including rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, and sugar gliders. *For other animals, select the dog pet profile, then select Other pets in the dropdown menu under Breed(s).*

Nina was so great with our pups and we did not have any worries while we were away. She let us know when she checked into the house and sent photos of the pups. We left detailed instructions and she confirmed that she read them all and had no questions and to not worry about the pups. Our house was clean and neat when we returned and the pups were so happy to see us. Highly recommend Nina, you will enjoy your time away with no concerns about the care that your pups are receiving!

Nina did an excellent job taking care of our puppy. We got him last week and were so nervous to leave him alone. She gave us updates, sent us pics, got back to us within minutes, followed all instructions we asked of her, and ensured his safety. My puppy is sooo shy with other people, and he went right to her. 10/10, will book for the future!!!:)

Nina dog sat for our family while we were out of town for a few days. She was AMAZING with our chocolate lab, Maple. She came to the house multiple times a day to check on her, play with her and ensure she ate breakfast and dinner. I was so at ease while we were away that our dog was appropriately cared for and loved so I didn’t have to worry about a thing! She also took Maple on multiple walks and checked in regarding how Maple was doing. I’ll definitely be contacting her in the future for future dog sitting!!
