“I loved having Skylar take care of my 2 reptile babies. She kept my chameleon and bearded dragon happy and healthy while I was away. Skylar is super reliable, attentive, sweet and sent me very cute pics, and tidied up their enclosures. Totally recommend! 🦎🌟”

“The photos that Jennifer sent belong on an ad campaign for Rover. My little guy looked like he was having a blast. He doesn't get too many visitors so he was a little apprehensive at first, but Jennifer did a great job getting him to relax and it sounds like they had a great time.”

“Corey and Stacy took great care of my fur babies! One of my dogs is a little high maintenance and needs a little extra care and they took care of him with no issues. I would highly recommend them to anyone!!”
“Kira is wonderful! Our puppy loves her and gets so excited to see her. Kira was also excellent with our older dog who recently passed away. She’s very kind and passionate about caring for animals. Highly recommend!”

“Susan was great taking care of our four cats over the holidays! She went above and beyond to make sure our kitties were taken care of, she also gave them some pets and took great pics of them ? thank you so much!”

“Alicia is the best! Our miniature long haired dachshund had never been by himself overnight - only at someone’s home. Alicia took excellent care of him and he did great with the drop-in visits. She provided him a with plenty of pictures. I highly recommend Alicia! Beth”

“What a joy! Our cats were pampered! Ally took care of all the “cat things” and sent amazing updates and pictures. Ally gave better service than the spa we used laced our Yorkie Poo in, and we will be leaving her in Ally’s care next time! Thank you for being so awesome! 10 thumbs up!”

“Wicked friendly and reliable. Super courteous woman who provides spectacular care for my pup. Emily is definitely worth reaching out to if you need any type of care for your pets!”

“My dogs had a great time with the drop in visits with Destinee. She came within the time frame I requested. Her photos kept me up to date. The dogs were taken care of like they were hers. Thank you for a great service. I'll definitely rebook with Destinee.”

“Jade was wonderful with my shy girl. I really appreciated the tracking of visits and photos. She surprised me with a couple of selfie's with her which is huge. Definitely recommend her!”

About: My family has owned a dog for most of my life, but I’ve cared for my own dogs for a little over 7 years now. I am good with basic manners and any extra care your pet would need. I do work a full time job, but I’m available to check in or walk your pets depending if I’m working nights or evenings that day! I can crate your dog if needed or am able to take them on a long walk to tire them out for the day if that is requested.
“It was clear my pets were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. My sitter went above and beyond to make sure they stayed on their normal routine and received plenty of love and attention. I came home to relaxed, happy pets and everything was just as I left it. I will certainly be using Riley again.”

“Deborah is punctual, reliable, and so great with our two goldendoodles. Our older dog, Chloe, usually has some anxiety with new sitters, but she exhibited none when she met Deborah! She sent lots of pictures and great notes. I highly recommend!!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Red Bank
This was the first time we have ever left our kitty committee with someone we didn’t know. Susan was such a gift and allowed us to travel more peacefully knowing our crew was taken care of. She also arranged a Meet and Greet within 24 hours of booking! So, so grateful for her and will definitely book her again!

Cory & Stacey did a wonderful job taking care of our bearded dragon and feral cat colony. They took photos daily and gave me updates and even checked my bearded dragons basking light temp to make sure he was getting what he needed and got him some carrots on their own since he wasn’t eating well. Thank you so much! Took so much anxiety away from me while traveling!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Red Bank. On Rover:
- 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 90% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
