About: I have had a pet nearly all my life. My kids have had a dog in the house since they were born. We love cuddling, playing, taking them on walks. My children are very respectful of all animals from big to small. I have watched friends dogs many times. Both in their homes and mine. We would love to take care of your babies! I work from home full-time. Which means I am here all the time and available for anything your pet may need. From potty breaks to feeding times and anywhere in between. If this concerns you, we can adapt and move them* Hello there, My name is Karen (but not 'a Karen,' I swear). I volunteer walking dogs at the local shelter. You never really know what you'll walk into when you go there, so I've learned to be pretty adaptable. I am comfortable with pretty much all pets (but we do live in an apartment so please see bottom section for ones we cannot care for). I also started fostering this year, everything from energetic puppies to FIV+ cats, couch potatoes to zoomie kings-and-queens. Our house is empty right now, and I am not regularly working because of some health issues, so there is a ton of flexibility in my schedule and in our home. If I'm not around, my boyfriend Dave usually is: sometimes he might be the one caring for and walking your pet, or meeting up with you for pick up/drop off. Your pet will not be alone much at all while boarding. We also have lots of toys, beds, a crate, and snacks, so all you’ll have to bring is food. To me, there is no point in having a pet unless you're going to spoil them. I will do everything possible to make sure your loved one isn't missing you too much. There are a few pets we’re unable to take. Our apartment can be noisy with people outside, neighbors coming in and out, etc…If your dog is nervous and fearful, those noises can exacerbate that in an already strange situation/new place for them. Please do not book if your dog *barks a lot* or gets nervous easily. We also cannot take two large dogs at the same time, as much as I would really love to! I prefer to do meet-and-greets at my place, too, for this reason…which isn’t a must, just a suggestion : ) I really look forward to hearing from you! My schedule is very open. My house does not have any pets in it right now. I’m totally ready to adapt to your pet’s needs! Generally, I just am very loving to all creatures. I volunteer a lot and am used to many, many kinds of animals. I live in an apartment, so that can be confusing sometimes for dogs who are used to going potty in a yard (leashed potty break and puppy pads are what typically do here), but there is plenty of space to run around in the loft, so playtime is not an issue. My boyfriend Dave and I live together. Occasionally, he might be the person to pick off/drop off instead of me.

About: I’ve had cats, dogs, a rabbit and even a guinea pig growing up. I’m in love with all animals and they all just look for someone to genuinely love and take care of them. That person is me, and during our time together me and your four legged family member will become new Best friends, giving your pet the best love and care I can efficiently and effectively. I’ve trained cats how to sit in my pass and to get them to come on call which I find harder for cats than dogs but I’ve accomplished that. I have all of the time in the world to learn what your dog loves to do the most. I have a fenced yard, and your fur baby will love burning off a lot of energy here. I have a puppy of my own so a lot of things I already have for your fur baby here. I feed them 2-3 times a day if not specified a feeding schedule, I train all of the dogs I frequently get to have bathroom breaks outdoors as well if not trained to do so.

About: I currently work in an animal physical therapy center where I treat special needs dogs and cats. Throughout my life span, I have owned 15 pets: 5 lizards, 8 fish, a hedgehog, a cat, 6 dogs, a scorpion, and a guinea pig. I studied animal science with a concentration in animal biology at MSU, following the pre-vet track. I’ve yet to meet an animal that I don’t get along with- it’s like we just click. I’m a very caring person that loves pets! If I could, I’d be a zookeeper. A lot of things I know about pet care I have learned in a Companion Animal Biology and Management class, from stress to diseases to development, etc. There couldn’t be a more perfect friend to watch your pal! About: I live with my partner and together we have taken care of cats and dogs (various breeds and especially greyhounds). I'm great with senior dogs who need special attention. I can give medication with your instructions. I have a big fenced yard for dogs to run and play, but I'm also happy to take leashed walks around our quiet neighborhood if that's what you prefer. Note! I can only take FeLV+ cats, since our cat is FeLV+. I work outside three days a week, and my partner works from home full-time. I'm used to getting up a lot - morning, noon, or night! - to let dogs out for potty breaks. I have a big fenced yard with plenty of space to roam. I have one sweet FeLV+ cat who has his own space to escape if he needs to. I have a million dog beds and a large crate (though you're welcome to bring your own). I'll make the cage an inviting place but I won't ever leave your furkid alone unless it's a quick trip to the store or an emergency. My car is set up with a hammock for pets in case of emergency.
