“I have used Rover several times throughout my dog’s 10 years and have NEVER seen her warm up (and calm down) to someone the way she did with Milo, which speaks volumes about how Milo handles animals with care and compassion. We came home to two very content animals after being away for a couple of nights and booking at the last minute, and Milo was also super respectful of our home. I would definitely recommend, and I know Milo is going to make an amazing vet tech!”

“Amy was awesome with our dogs and cats while we were out of town! She kept us updated and sent photos every day, so I could tell they were being well taken care of. One of my dogs has a lot of medications and is a picky eater, and Amy was so on top of it, which put me at ease knowing he was in good hands. I will definitely book with Amy again!”

“Patrick housesat and watched our dog and kitten over the Christmas holidays. He sent us daily photos and prompt messages. On very short notice he was able to stay an extra night due to our travel delays. We would definitely schedule again for any future pet sitting 😊”

“Sarah was the best!! Our dog was so comfortable with her and it was great to have the peace of mind of having a responsible sitter while we were out of town. She sent us pictures and videos every day and we came home to a happy and healthy puppy. We will definitely rebook with her for our future trips!”

“Oso enjoyed having Fallon over and she was consistently checking in with me to see how Oso was doing and was super accommodating on such short notice! I highly recommend her for house sitting and walks! Oso loved her and I’ll be using her services in the future!”

About: As an emerging professional, I found it to be wise to not get an animal of my own quite yet, but through this opportunity I can still be around and interact with your loving animal(s). I have interacted with an array of dogs, and currently my family has had 3 dogs. Brandy, a golden retriever who loved being outside and swimming, Jack (who is in my profile picture) a cocker spaniel who loved a good nap, and our other dog Ziggy, a long haired dachshund who has calmed down over the years but loves to great people with his loud bark. I have experience working with older dogs who require medication, so if your pup/cat needs that attention, I’ve got you covered. I like to think I’m an active person, so walks will be had as well. I also love giving animals baths, so if you are interested that can be included in my services! Thank you for your consideration! I currently have a full time job, but would have mornings, lunch, and after 5pm available to love on your pet. I make it a priority to make sure they keep their schedule and have an ample amount of attention. I think keeping pets in their homes is especially important when their parents are away, so that’s why I am more than happy to come to them. Just like humans, I want to make sure they feel loved and cared for even when you are not there. I love to cuddle and play with all the pets I watch as well so they will not be missing out on attention (haha)!

About: Hi! I would love to meet your pet and work with you to ensure a great dog walking/sitting experience! I have years of experience starting as a dog sitter for neighbors growing up and now taking in a variety of clients and breeds. I’m comfortable with small or big dogs. I am currently studying at University which gives me a less rigid schedule than someone working a 9-5. My class breaks give me the perfect opportunity to take the time to know your pet and give them some exercise and engagement! I think it’s important that your pet feels familiar and comfortable with me and so I typically advocate for a meeting with you the owner there before I dog sit to make sure your pet can adjust easier.

“Brianna was terrific with our chiuhauha while we were out of town. During our trip we received many pictures of Tiki and Briana playing together. When we returned, our dog was as happy go lucky as ever. We heighly recommend Brianna!”

About: Hi! My name is Marissa. I’ve been caring for dogs for 11 years—starting with puppies at age 14. I have experience with all ages, including senior dogs needing extra patience, comfort, and medications. I’m reliable, gentle, and treat every dog like family. Whether it’s playful walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays, your pup will be safe, loved, and well-cared for with me! I also have experience in feeding, handling and caring for bearded dragons. I’m a part-time hairstylist with a flexible schedule! I’m available for overnight care after 4 PM Tuesday–Saturday, and fully open on Sundays and Mondays (my weekend). I can also occasionally fit in midday walks, drop-ins, or medication visits between appointments during the week—just reach out to check! Your pet’s care always comes first. 🐾 Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, pet-friendly environment with no other animals in the home—perfect for pets who need one-on-one attention. I understand how much your furry family member means to you, especially after recently losing my own beloved dog. I treat every pet with the same love, patience, and care I gave my own, ensuring they feel safe, secure, and right at home. I also have a pet car seat and stroller holding up to 30lbs to ensure the most comfortably and safety for your fur baby.

“Zoey watched my dog and rats for two weeks while I was out of town. She was amazing, and I'd highly recommend her to anyone! She was very patient with my dog who takes a minute to warm up to people, and was accommodating of all my requests (like watering my many plants and putting out my trash). She sent photos of my babies while I was gone, and made me feel like they were enjoying their time with her while I was away! I will definitely try to book with her again in the future :)”

About: I’ve taken care of my family dog and dogs of family friends since I was in middle school. I grew up with a beagle and I was always responsible for walking, feeding, and giving her baths. I’m currently a student in college who doesn’t have a job during the school year which leaves me with some free time during the day/ evenings to walk and care for dogs. I can easily travel to your house to walk or care for you dog. My house is also very dog friendly and my neighborhood is filled with sidewalks making it very convenient for dog walking. I’m working part time right now during my gap year! I have lots of time during weekends as well to give your pup the love and fun it deserves! I would love to get a puppy of my own but it is a little too much financially for me right now so I love getting the chance to spend time with dogs I dog sit for :) I live in a gated community that is super dog friendly and even has a very large park right next door that your dog would love to run around and play in. I am also super active so I love to go on long walks with the doggies that I care for.

About: I have plenty of experience with both dogs and cats. I have been working in a dog/cat boarding and daycare facility for a little over a year now. At work, we are responsible for providing individual care for each animal staying with us; we are in charge of providing them with playtime, feeding them, giving meds, and more. Personally, I have had two cats going on about 15 years now, and I have had two dogs (a lab mix and a pit mix) for about five years. I also have the experience of being a dog walker volunteer at a humane society! Right now, I am on summer break and home from school, and I am currently only working a part-time job. On days I do work at my part-time job, I’m usually working from 8-230pm 3-4 days a week, so I will usually be available outside of that time period on my working days. On non-working days, I typically have open availability. Since I am around animals pretty much 24/7, caring for them is part of my usual routine, making me very passionate and comfortable around animals. Unfortunately, one of my dogs is reactive and doesn't take well to new doggy friends, so care at my house would not be possible. However, in terms of staying in the owner's home, I would bring over some toys and other things dogs love, like treats, and I could even bring a splash pad for those who like water! I would make sure the dog is my number one priority and be on top of what their daily needs are. For cats, plenty of catnip and fun will be involved!

“Communication lines were open, many pictures were sent, and I cannot thank her enough for her flexibility when our flight plans got thrown for a little loop!! Would 100% book again!”

About: I’ve worked as a veterinary nurse for 10 years and have worked with every size, age and energy level of dog and cat. I’m well versed in walking, bathing, potty training, and mind enrichment exercises, as well as multiple behavioral and medical conditions. I love caring for animals and have 2 cats and a dog, Siberian Husky, who needs a lot of activity and are spoiled daily. I know how to give medication, if needed, and how to deal with emergency situations. I can send pictures and videos daily to keep you updated. Your beloved furry family members will be well taken care of! I am available most days for the summer and can do morning, afternoon, and evening care. You can message me for further questions about scheduling. Let me know your pets daily routine they are used to, so I can stick as closely as possible to it to help them keep as much normalcy to their days as possible.

About: I am obsessed with pups! They are so adorable and just so joyful. Recently my 12 year old dog passed due to old age. So i definitely miss being around dogs. I would love to take care of any pets while their owners are busy 🫶 I am a TA at a high school, and since the kids are out for the summer I am available all week, no matter the time! I’ll make sure they’re fed, and have plently of water. Make sure they go out for potty breaks, and walk and play with them! For high energy dogs I can run with them, and play.

Rantoul pet parents share their Rover experiences
Chace was amazing. This was our first time using Rover and he did a great job in calming our nerves and getting to know Nova. She is high maintenance (reactive to dogs, lots of allergies) and he was very patient. It took time for her to warm up to him but he was willing to wait and by the end of the trip she was giving kisses and loved having him around. Chace checked in daily with updates and was extremely clean. I definitely appreciate his attention to detail! I highly recommend Chace to any person who might be nervous or hesitant to use the app. He met us in person before the trip to get everyone acclimated. Super easy and reliable experience overall! We will be in touch for future trips.

We have 4 dogs 2 are Great Danes not easy with the amount of dogs and size. They were amazing with our dogs sent daily updates and pictures. If our dogs caused an issue they were open and honest to let us know and took care of it. I would 100% recommended them will be using them next time.
