About: i have two small dogs (dug and diesel) and absolutely love animals! senior dog experience and super flexible hours. lots of love to go around for all kinds of pets :) i currently do commercial cleaning for KBW Cleaning so my hours are super flexible and usually are pretty short i also do doordash but that won't be an issue getting in the way i'm willing to do just about anything from walks, appointments, play dates, and more. i have 2 dogs i take care of on a daily basis and they are always looking for new friends

About: I’ve been caring for animals my whole life, growing up on a family farm in southwest Minnesota with sheep, horses, hogs, dogs, and more than a few barn cats. As a dedicated 4-H and FFA member, I gained hands-on experience in showmanship, agility, obedience, and daily animal care. Professionally, I’ve worked as an animal care technician for the Richmond SPCA in Virginia and Companions Animal Hospital in St. Cloud, MN, caring for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and small mammals. My duties included walking, grooming, bathing, administering medications, and providing enrichment. I hold a Silver-level Low Stress Handling certification with 20 hours of specialized training. These days, I care for my two senior English Springer Spaniels, maintain a community fish tank, and regularly watch my family’s pets and farm animals. I love hiking, being outdoors, and making sure animals feel loved and cared for. Whether it’s playtime, a walk, or extra affection, I treat every animal like family. I am a free-lance graphic designer and baker, otherwise I have been a stay-at-home mom. Both kids are now in school full time, so I find myself with time to spare. I cannot walk my own dogs, due to their mobility restrictions and age, so why not walk yours! About: I grew up with a parent who groomed and did pet sitting in our home. This makes me very familiar with dogs and cats and their behaviors. I enjoy and love all animals as God created them ❤️ I currently do not work my daytime job at a fitness center for more then 5 hours at a time so no matter what time of day or for how long you will need, I will be available throughout the day each day. I will follow all guidelines the owner has laid out for the safety and comfortability of the pet. I am happy to use leashes, crates, and fences as needed or requested.

About: I grew up around livestock and all sorts of other animals. I recently lost my own dog but when I had her I used Rover to help find a regular dog sitter for when I went on teacher conferences. I recently became trained in dog and cat CPR and first aid. I am not afraid to give medications to an animal and have taken care of dogs that have special needs such as anxiety, fear of fireworks, fear of guns and high energy. I am currently on a teaching schedule but after memorial day I will be available most days. If I am away during the summer it's usually just during the day. They will take first priority, getting food, water, any medications prescribed and taken to go outside will all take place before my needs. I can provide a kennel at my home and kennel trained my own dog understanding the process for that.

About: Long time pet owner, trainer, and sitter. Experience with many household pets. Verified assistance dog raiser/sitter with Can Do Canines. Previously owned mastiff, bully breed dogs, hounds, huskies, also cats, gerbils, rats, zebra finches, fresh water and saltwater tropical fish. I'm available evenings and weekends during the school year. Additional daytime availability from June to September. Northfield, MN daytime visits can be negotiated as needed. My single level home has a fully enclosed six foot privacy fence and dog doors out to the yard. Splash pad and wading pool available in the warm months.

About: When your pet stays with me, they are family, and treated as such. I have experience with elderly and hospice pets as well as special-needs pets, young puppies, medication management and administration (liquid, pill, and injections) and some training experience as well. Well versed in pets with special care requirements (i.e. animals with anxiety, reactivity and/or other behavioral challenges). Because I work from home, I can be with your pet throughout the workday, and can easily step away to give your pet potty breaks and attention. I prefer to do house-sitting based pet care, as I’ve found that animals are most comfortable in their home environments. I am also happy to water any plants that may need it, as long as instructions are provided. Happy to work with large animals, amphibians, fish, and reptiles as well. Do note that house-sitting based pet care includes light house maintenance/cleaning as well such as vacuuming and laundering the guest sheets used. I like to leave the houses I care for as neat (if not neater) than they were upon my arrival. I work from home and can easily step away to care for your pet. When pet sitting, I generally don’t leave the house I’m sitting at for more than a few hours at a time, so your pet has reliable supervision and company. I am pet CPR and first aid certified through Red Cross. I am a very cautious and risk-aware person, always mindful of keeping doors and gates shut and ensuring the environment I’m pet-sitting in is safe and secure.

About: I’ve taken care of my dogs since I was little. I have watched my neighbors cat making sure the litter box is cleaned and she was feed. I have done that with another cat as well as chicks. I have also house sit / watch a Great Dane before who had separation anxiety made sure him and his cat friends were feed and taken care of. I work part time and will be able to provide all the care, live and attention needed for your pets care wether it’s walks check ins or house sittings. I will always keep the house as found when I am checking in on the pets as well as insuring if any messes by and animal or me happen while I’m around it will be cleaned.

About: I’ve loved dogs as long as i can remember, I’ve been around dogs my whole life, had a Labrador Retriever growing up. My passion really began when neighbors would start asking me to dog sit for them. I always knew I wanted to do something with animals (mainly dogs.) a family friend told me about Rover & I immediately knew I had to become a sitter. I am very trustworthy and reliable & easy to reach! I currently do not have any pets in my home which makes me a great sitter if your dog isn’t a fan of other dogs/animals! I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time to play with your dogs & care for them. I currently only work 3 days a week for 4 hours so I’m VERY flexible! You can always count on the fact that your dog is SAFE. If you don’t have a fenced in yard, I will keep your dog leashed unless you say otherwise!

About: I have owned both cats and dogs, and I love the care that comes with owning these selfless creatures. I’m a dog park regular, a cat favorite and have experience with dogs from training puppies to working with elderly dogs. My schedule is, at this time in my life, rather open. I’m not in school right now, and I am lucky to be able to do pet-sitting as a steady means of work at this time in my life. During the week, I typically have a few consistent dogs that I walk for, as well as a few overnight pet-sitting jobs a few times per month. I’d love for you to be one of them! Because of this, it makes it easier for me to stay with the pet for a majority of the time, if desired. If I need to leave, it’s usually just to go home and cook my husband dinner, do a few errands or to walk/check on another pet. It all depends on your pet’s needs and habits. Feeding, bathroom and attention are the basics, but besides that I can be extremely active, going for long or several walks/day and lots of playing with toys, to more relaxed, following your animal’s needs. Hanging out with pets is as much for me as it is for the owner I’m working for and their pet. I find lots of fulfillment through spending time with animals, whether it’s my own or Rover clients. I have met many families on here that were strangers at first that eventually became a consistent friend/client.

About: I’ve taken care of small to big dogs for almost 10 years now. I have a dealt with a handful of reactive dogs as well as plenty non reactive dogs, I was taught how to read dogs body language about 6 months ago and I’m still working on improving! I have dealt with scuffles as well as dogs that were very persistent. Currently I am at a doggy daycare Fridays and Saturdays taking care of daycare and boarding dogs. Sunday thought Thursday I am at home taking care of my own dog by continuing his training, taking him on walks, playing with him, and watching him play with his sister. In my home I care for my pets by making sure I give them attention, exercise, mental stimulation, fun outside time with bones and toys, as well as making sure my puppy stays rested after a long day. When taking care of clients pets I treat them the exact same way and I make sure I follow the owners instructions to ensure the best care for the best pups!

About: I have owned a dog for the last 15 years and have taken care of all ages/types of dogs for family and friends! I am home during the week and on weekends. I have a 4 year old yellow lab who is extremely friendly with other dogs and is used to being around them. I have an acre fenced in yard in town with lots of room for the dogs to run around safe. We have the summers off and are very flexible during the week. We are also available most every weekend for weekend stays or week long stays. We have a large fenced (One acre) in yard and a four year old yellow lab named Earl who loves to run around. Our yard is very dog friendly!

About: I am a fourth-year Animal Science major at the University of Minnesota wanting to pursue vet school. I own a dog, two cats, and one horse personally. I grew up on the same 20 acres that my grandfather's small animal and equine veterinary practice resided so I am well versed in the vet-med functions. My grandma also bred Miniature Aussies when I was a kid so I am very comfortable with puppy-age alongside the energy of herding dogs. I have overnight pet sat for numerous friends and neighbors alongside just check-ins throughout the day. These animals have ranged from cows, horses, goats, chickens, and dogs and cats. I am very comfortable with numerous different personalities as I have watched a friend's boarding kennel for numerous different weekends. I usually go home every weekend so am typically just available Monday-Friday Morning as I am scheduled to work at home alongside wanting to see my own animals. I try to follow their usual routine in their own home which can range from feeding them at their usual time and going outside for walks or potty time. I also allow them to sleep in the bed with me if that is what they are used to. The least abnormal day for them is the goal.

About: I’ve had a dog since I was 9 years old and have always helped family and friends with their dogs when they went on vacation, overnights, etc. I now have 2 dogs- a 6 yr old Beagle/Dachshund mix and a 2 yr old German Shepherd. I also have 2 kids, ages 11 and 12. I treat my dogs like family, we adore them! Dogs are just better than people! I’m currently working part-time so I would be available according to that schedule. My schedule is pretty flexible and I can work from home at times. We don’t have a fence right now but we will once the snow melts and my husband can put one up. We live in Randolph, MN. I love animals, I’m always talking to mine and loving up on them- lots of cuddles and fun. We do dog puzzles, frozen enrichment bones, play fetch or my Kacey’s favorite, “chase me!”
