About: I’ve been around dogs constantly since birth. There have only been a few years of my life without any dogs in the house! I work at a dog daycare full time over the summer, so I'm accustomed to both puppies and seniors of all sizes. Over the summers I work full time at Dog Days in St. Paul, and I’m a student at St. Olaf over the school year. I’m totally free weekends and Tuesday/Thursday, with some availability afternoons and evenings the rest of the week. Dogs are basically furry children. They can’t communicate directly, so they resort to barking, growling, or even biting. I’m experienced in figuring out why a dog is acting out and calming them down before things get out of hand. What looks like “being annoying” is usually boredom, need for water, or anxiety!

About: I've taken care of pets of all sorts for friends, family, and neighbors since I was 10, and cared for my own animals for as long as I can remember. I have worked in a humane society and am comfortable working with all sorts of pets, of all shapes and sizes. I have also worked in commercial kennel settings, with dogs with behavioral issues. I have experience cleaning up messes, providing enrichment, and administering medications, as well as caring for newborn and young puppies. I'm working a very flexible part-time internship over the summer, so I have plenty of free time to care for pets. I am free especially in the evenings, and flexible for days. I'm happy to keep your pets company in the comfort of their own homes, as well as taking them on any outings they usually enjoy!

Our boys were so well cared for, and I can tell from all the photos that they treated our cats like they were their own! We were in a bind when a friend told us last minute they could no longer watch our cats while we were on vacation for two weeks, and Ada was just what we needed. They were respectful, attentive, and we felt comfortable having them in our home while we were gone to look after our cats. We left a laundry list of instructions and weird little tidbits, and they knew just how to take care of everything the way we would. They paid special attention to details and had a ton of experience caring for all kinds of pets, ages, and medical situations which made us feel good. They also very kindly helped us with extras like grabbing our mail and sending us photos of our house when one of the doors was damaged (not by them). I seriously cannot recommend Ada enough! We will gladly be using them again for future sitting services.”

About: I have three dogs of my own, and have been their sole caretaker for over a month at a time. I have pet sat for both friends and family, while also taking care of their home while they were away. I am currently a college student at St. Olaf College. I have lots of free time and would love to spend it taking care of the dogs in the surrounding communities. I currently have no job on campus, and do not play any sports so my weekends and weeknights are very available. I always keep a close eye on the pets I am watching and make sure to engage with them plenty. I routinely monitor their food and water, as well as ensuring the animal is always safe.

About: Hi! I’ve been caring for animals my whole life—starting on my family’s farm in southwest Minnesota with dogs, horses, sheep, and plenty of barn cats.
