Our boys were so well cared for, and I can tell from all the photos that they treated our cats like they were their own! We were in a bind when a friend told us last minute they could no longer watch our cats while we were on vacation for two weeks, and Ada was just what we needed. They were respectful, attentive, and we felt comfortable having them in our home while we were gone to look after our cats. We left a laundry list of instructions and weird little tidbits, and they knew just how to take care of everything the way we would. They paid special attention to details and had a ton of experience caring for all kinds of pets, ages, and medical situations which made us feel good. They also very kindly helped us with extras like grabbing our mail and sending us photos of our house when one of the doors was damaged (not by them). I seriously cannot recommend Ada enough! About: I have loved animals my whole life. growing up with dogs, cats, fish, and birds, I enjoy pets of all kinds! I have experience with both pet boarding and pet sitting! I have worked with several different families with multiple dog and feel totally comfortable with that. Going to the dog park is always fun but I know some dogs aren’t comfortable there. I also have lots of experience with cats and birds. My roommate is allergic to cats so they can’t stay at our house but I would be happy to come to yours. Walking pups is a great way to explore new neighborhoods. Through these kinds of experiences I have learned that it is always more fun to walk around and explore with a four legged friend. About: My husband and I are former dog foster parents and love meeting/spending time with new dogs! We have two resident (foster fail!) dogs: Ace, a shy pitbull who LOVES other dogs and Tesha, a rambunctious tripod who LOVES people. We especially love older dogs in our house but are open to dogs 1 year and up. We have a fully fenced in backyard and a tie out available for outside play time. We have space to keep dogs separated if you have a dog that is shy or needs very slow introductions (we have a three level home). Our resident pups are allowed on our bed if they choose, but we have plenty of dog beds around too, and we do not allow them on our couch. We will do our very best to accommodate your pups needs and keep you updated on how your four legged family member is doing while you are away! I currently work from home and am able to take breaks to allow potty and attention breaks. My husband is also home most of the time and will be available when I am not. We like to do slow introductions to other dogs to ensure the comfort of our resident dogs and the visiting pups. We have the space to crate or allow roaming on separate levels if needed.

When I get him he is always a happy puppy and I can tell he is well taken care of. “I am new to the area, and Chelsie was very close by. She responded promptly and communicated clearly. I brought Riley over, and Chelsie kindly met me at the car. I was having some difficulty with the long lead, and Riley immediately went up to her as if they had known each other for a long time. When Riley heard the dogs barking inside the house, she led Chelsie to the door, which was quite charming. I realized I forgot to mention something to Chelsie, but she responded right away. On my way back to pick up Riley, I got caught in traffic, so Chelsie graciously brought Riley out to me, and Riley happily got into the car without any issues. After we returned home, I noticed that Riley's card was filled out, and there was a detailed note, along with photos of Riley's day, showing that she had gone for a walk and played with her dogs. Overall, I would rate the experience as excellent, and Riley will definitely be visiting again.”

About: I have four dogs of various sizes who have lived with my family for years and have a variety of needs and preferences. I have experience caring for senior dogs (our 11-year-old, Gonzo, who has arthritis and hips dysplasia, and our 10-year-old, Roxy, who suffers from severe anxiety), as well as young dogs, as we adopted three of our four as puppies. We may bring boarding back into the mix when Smokey is a bit older. Jenny works part time and has time for drop-in visits as well as dog walking. About: I grew up around livestock and all sorts of other animals. I recently lost my own dog but when I had her I used Rover to help find a regular dog sitter for when I went on teacher conferences. I recently became trained in dog and cat CPR and first aid. I am not afraid to give medications to an animal and have taken care of dogs that have special needs such as anxiety, fear of fireworks, fear of guns and high energy. I am currently on a teaching schedule but after memorial day I will be available most days. If I am away during the summer it's usually just during the day. They will take first priority, getting food, water, any medications prescribed and taken to go outside will all take place before my needs.
