About: Over the past 5 years, I have become the de facto dog sitter amongst friends and acquaintances across the Snoqualmie Valley. My experience even ranges to goats! I am currently setting up my work schedule as a dog trainer and will most likely be working Thursday-Sunday for around 6-7 hour shifts for the time being. I am most interested in keeping consistent with your pets needs and routine, while giving them all the love and attention as well! I am capable of administering medications, maintaining individual hygiene routines, adhering to your pet's special diet, and whatever else might be needed. About: Hi! I joined a local organization called Purrfect Pals at 16 years old. It was a place dedicated to giving our feline friends a chance for or they provided a happy life for our feline friends where they could live out the rest of their days in peace. About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 10 years and have experience with both dogs and cats of all different ages, personalities, and needs. I’ve cared for seniors, special-needs pets, anxious animals, and pets who need oral medications or a little extra patience. I’m big on following each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible — meals, walks, medications, playtime, bedtime, and all the little things they’re used to at home. Some pets want to be attached to your hip, while others need time and space to warm up, and I’m happy to let them set the pace. I have two cats of my own and have had cats throughout my life, so I’m very comfortable with cat care as well as dogs. I’m used to everything from easygoing pets to the stubborn, mischievous, and “will absolutely eat that if you turn around for two seconds” variety. Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable while you’re away. I’ll pay attention to your instructions, keep you updated, and make sure your pet is safe, comfortable, and getting plenty of attention. I spend most of my free time at home and have a pretty flexible routine, so I’m able to give pets plenty of attention, playtime and company. We always start the day with a morning walk before I head to work, and I’m usually home by 3pm for the rest of the afternoon and evening. When I’m not home, my husband usually is, so there’s typically someone around to keep an eye on things and give your pet some company. I can sometimes accommodate short-notice requests, and I live right next to two parks in a safe neighborhood with plenty of places to walk. My home is kept pretty pet-safe — my two cats are professional troublemakers, so they’ve made sure we don’t leave much out that curious pets can get into. It’s just my husband and me at home, so there aren’t lots of unfamiliar people coming and going. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
