About: I grew up on a homestead and was always around many different animals including dogs. I rode horses from a young age and walked dogs throughout college to help pay for tuition. I love animals and am super comfortable around them! I work from home so I can provide attentive care for your pets. I have a flexible schedule and can go on walks multiple times during the day. Emily provided excellent care of our elderly dog administering insulin shots twice a day while we were out of town. She was gentle and loving with our girl who isn't used to us being away and having different routines. Additionally, Emily identified areas where our house sitter could improve care of our dogs outside of Emily's time with them. I would recommend Emily for any future care!
Sara was great! Our pup took to her right away, and we left on our trip with no worries at all. We are very attentive to our little baby, and Sara recognized that immediately. She kept us in the loop as to how she was doing and sent us pictures regularly to show that she was in good spirits. We returned to a happy pup, a clean home and enjoyed our closing converation with Sara. Would highly recommend her and will definitely use her again.
Lisa was great watching my leash reactive border collie! It took a day or so for my highly bonded dog companion to get used to the idea that I wasn't coming back to pick him up, but he then found Lisa made a great substitute and requested pets from her (its rare for Shadow to accept pets from most people!). Lisa sent many pictures and videos of Shadow to relieve my concern for his anxiety. Now, 2 days after my return, Shadow's nicely content and taking more naps than usual; I think he had a ball with Lisa!
